Great rooms, comfortable beds Breakfast was awesome, free airport shuttle, what more could you need!

Can't say enough about the made to order breakfasts! We stayed for four breakfasts and didn't repeat a single one and every one was outstanding! The evening receptions were also a nice way to end the day. Plenty of light snacks that had something for everyone. If we return to Michigan, we'll definitely be staying here again!

My hotel experience was great! Very friendly staff and clean hotel.

Smaller rooms than other Embassy suites and didn't have the upscale feel of other locations that we have stayed at over the years.

Re-routed into Detroit unexpectedly. Was able to easily book a reasonably priced suite which was convenient to the airport/rental call location. Easy to get to, plenty of staff on hand at check-in. Room was ready, clean and comfortable. I will definately stay here again if I am in Detroit.

Breakfast was super fantastic, location was good!!

My sister, my daughter, and I stayed one night while on a family trip. The double beds in the suite were comfortable and not too hard. The foyer of the hotel was beautiful and welcoming. My daughter loved the indoor-outdoor pool. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious and got us ready for our long day of travel the next day. Would definitely go back.

The bottomless beer, wine, liquor reception and great rooms make this an awesome value

hotel was very nice but we had a suite with 3 adults and 3 children, room to sleep 6 but no room for luggage, were tripping over each other. There was a pipe turning on and off all night, could not sleep. would not stay there again.

friendly staff, great spacious rooms. nice breakfast in the am, bar on property with lots of tvs - we love it here.

Great location at a great price! Perfect location if you have business in Detroit as well as elsewhere in southeast Michigan.

Got into Detroit very late so appreciated the hotel was so close to the airport. Quiet. Slept well. Pleasant staff. Helpful too.

The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. They are excellent. The property has been updated in the lobby and rooms but the hallways are smelly, dank and beat up. This is not the usual Embassy Suites property. The rooms seem smaller like they were built for something else and then converted to suites. The breakfast was good but it would have been nice to have Starbucks as the free coffee and not have to pay $3 a cup.

The hotel is ideally located close to the airport and close to amenities and business.

I traveled with my family for on a pleasure trip and the reception was very nice. We all enjoyed the breakfast and happy hour in the evening.

I would suggest getting more personnel with a smile on their face. The reception person was just normal in his welcome not a very positive attitude. The guy preparing the Hot breakfast was like o yeah I had to work today attitude. actually another gentlemen ask him about what other ingridients were avalable for his ommelette and the "want to be chef" just pointed to a display that was on the counter. By the way the cook cloth was very dirty. The rooms are not properly noise proof. I could here the guest next door walking to the restroom during the night. and this is a very delicate concern b/c travelers usually want to get some rest.

good

Very nice clean room. Prepared breakfast to order Starting at 6:00am. Two newspapers and business area.

Very good experience. Good location...great hot breakfast. Friendly staff. Located between Detroit and Ann Arbor.

Upon initial check-in, we were given a room with a bathroom customized for wheelchair showers-all tile and no tub. Had to ask for another room with a shower we could stand under and a tub for my wife. Chose hotel mostly for hot tub because of leg problems-require daily a.m. therapy. Pump went out Friday after 4:00 and was informed that it would be fixed Monday meaning it would not be available for entire stay. How do you not make a simple repair in a major city either late Friday or Saturday? Desk clerk did offer me a free pass at some type of excercise club down the road to use their tub but I guess you have to understand my circumstance to see my point. Bathroom doorknob (inside) fell off in my wife's hand-appeared to be installed incorrectly because of the way it initially opened. No maid service one day (Sunday 5/16). Left room around noon for function. When we returned around 9:00p.m. the room had not been cleaned (no bed made, no towels, etc.). Breakfast had a wide selection and omelets made to order. Breakfast was quite good. Bed was very comfortable. Two televisions were a nice accommodation, but channels were somewhat limited. Business center was handy. Have a hard time recommending this place because of the lack of that spark to accommodate someone paying for what should be there but isn't. Sometimes saying sorry isn't enough. Sense a lackadasical,"not my fault" attitude. I understand that things break, but a good manager would either have replacement parts on site or be able to acquire them in a city as big as Detroit. If his home hot tub pump went out, he would drive to spas-r-us and fix it, if he required it daily.
