My fiancee and I opted to stay at this hotel for the night following a day trip to Detroit. We found the staff courteous and the room clean and generally well kept. Every room has both a microwave and a fridge, which we found very convenient. We made use of a complimentary and very convenient shuttle service to downtown Detroit to enjoy the nightlife. Though the shuttle presently does not run every night, our driver informed us that the shuttle will soon run all Fridays and Saturdays, by popular demand. Room faucet flow is quite weak, and hot water heating is poor. We found this a bit of a nuisance, especially since we were traveling in the January cold.

Location was greet, staff excellent but the sheet on my bed was stain and the pillows smells

The location of the hotel was great, definitely not in a bad area of Detroit. The staff was great, and the shuttle driver Andre was awesome. The hotel itself doesn't look bad from the outside, but the inside is in major need of updating. The room and hotel did not have a clean odor(stale smoke, musty). The pillows and cases were very stained. There was paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom, mold, and the toilet and seat wasn't cleaned off at all. Definitely should have spent the extra money to stay at a major chain or casino. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good night sleep!

Needed a room close to downtown. 'Xxxxxzz-xxxxxxxxxxxxzxx'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hotel was conveniently located to town,as I'm not that familiar with Detroit downtown and surrounding area. Room was average clean...needs more waste baskets.Staff friendly.

We stayed here the weekend of the Detroit Marathon. It was a great hotel for this. We were able to get a good night sleep before the race. The staff was very friendly and very helpful in helping us find an affordable taxi to the airport on our trip back as well. I would recommend a weekend stay here. Nothing flashy, but it is a great deal for the service and price.

It's off the beaten path but with free parking and shuttle service you cant beat it for a convenient place to crash , we went for a concert and while the place was packed with kids (teenagers for the Eminem Rhianna concert) they didn't bother anyone and our room was still surprisingly quiet. The manager was very attentive and when there was a very long lineup for the shuttle service he called us a prompt cab that dropped us right out front and didn't even run the meter.....we gave him 5 bucks and he gave us his number for a ride home.

For the money the location is excellent. Staff friendly and free shuttle to stadium and other downtown restaurant and bars a big plus. Rooms are OK. Good deal for the money.

Clean, Secure, Friendly, for cheap downtown hotels this is the nicest of the bunch. High Value at low cost. Will stay here again.

good stay would go back again. love the ride to the game very nice guy driving the bus.

Staff was great...hotel was nicer than expected..thankful they had a shuttle to games.

We were looking for something inexpensive so I can't complain. However, the room description read "two queen beds", which was not the case. There were two double or full size beds, not sure if that was the hotel or Orbtz' wrong doing. Room was a lil dirty (a jelly packet on the floor and a bloody booger on the sink faucet from the people before us). Maybe because we arrived at 11am and asked to check in so they cleaned the room quick so we can. Overall, I wouldn't stay there again, as I prefer to spend the money to be more "comfortable". However, if your looking to save a lil money, it's not too bad.

Best price in the area and with the free shuttle and parking it saves you a lot, nothing fancy that's for sure but you get what you pay for and we felt totally safe

It's Detroit people! I never felt unsafe, but it was tough to determine where it was safe and unsafe. Detroit is a dead city and there is not many people walking around, regardless. This hotel is extremely close to Downtown entertainment - and if it was not Detroit, you could walk to Greektown Casino. The hotel does offer free breakfast in the morning, but it is offered in the front lobby which is not too inviting of an area. Regardless, it did the job - cheap hotel for a one night stay.

Staff was very friendly. I was surprised how quiet it was being New Years Eve. No partying all night going on. They had a shuttle to take us to the Joe or any casino. We had a great stay.

Staff was really helpful. Bathtub was not as clean as I would like. Breakfast was poor. Waffle had no mix and was not filled when I.mentioned it. Same for coffee. I walked next door (50 feet) and I Got a real good breakfast for $8.

Clean, friendly, cheap, and a few blocks from booming downtown Detroit (are all those casinos/corporate centers/ businesses paying their taxes?). Renovations — actually a good sign — had the lobby torn up, but the whole third floor already was done and was clean and updated. Wi-FI and coffeemaker worked and king bed was comfortable ... all I needed for one night.

The place is ok. New paint outside of building in a so so area of town. 5 dollar cab to Greektown then walkable to Comerica Park. The shuttle only runs on weekends. The room and bath were older for sure but very clean. Did not try the breakfast....just served in lobby area where you check in. Free wi fi and free parking. Price was right for 60 dollars. Usually stay a bit out of town and likely would go back to that plan.

It was comfortable, at a convenient location to transportation and food. There was a continental breakfast available.

The shuttle to and from the tigers game was great and the room was as expected for under $100 I will be back
