Country Inn and Suites Dearborn

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

This was a trip to go to an Indians game. This place was recently built or very well maintained. We were very pleased with it. The registration girl was on the phone for a long time before taking care of us. I was disappointed an let her know.

Very nice hotel. Met all my needs. Very safe and quiet.

This hotel is nice, the breakfast is amazing, but what makes it a 5.0 is the staff. This is one of the nicest hotel staff's I have seen in a very long time!

We spent two night here in June. You can get a lot of average motels in the area for $80-$100 range. This one is above average in some respects but the detail to make it nice is not there.

Very nice rooms and clean. One day my room was missed for making bed, clean bathroom and replacement towels. Pillows were terrible.

I arrived after 6:00 PM to check-in (3:00 check in time) and was told my room wasn't ready yet. Had to wait 20 minutes, then got checked into an occupied room. Had to wait another 10 minutes. They then "upgraded" me to a suite. Traveling alone, this did nothing for me. The entire time, the staff would stop communicating with guests and continue conversations among themselves, like we were a distraction not the focus. The breakfast attendant was the only staff member who ever seemed at all pleasant and sought out positive interaction with the guests.

Hotel was nice we were hit with a windstorm and this hotel was a great stay.

The location and price sold me, but the hotel was nicely constructed and well kept. The checkin process was a little sluggish, but not terrible and a one-time event. Breakfast was a bit beyond the standard continental and well stocked. Overall a very nice experience and good value.

It's a great hotel for the price We.had a great service and the staff was with an exception of one

the lobby stinks of cigarette smoke and chlorine like from a pool. the towels smell like industrial soap. the weekday breakfast was ok, but the weekend b/f tasted like it was made on Wednesday. on Friday the had real metal knives and forks but on the weekend it was plastic sporks. the tub was the deepest i've ever seem which could be gook but i asked for handicap room and i could barley get my feet over the tub side and not slip and fall into the toilet. house keeping did the room and bed on Friday , but we had to get our our towels and make the bed ourselves on sat night and Sunday night. the bed slept better than i thought, and was fine but the little cubes for pillows were kind of a pain in the neck. the parking lot looks full when you drive up but the Nissan dealer next door takes up half of the lot. i am a one and done traveler and will stay at the Holiday inn exp down the street or at the airport next time we go see the kids.

I was traveling alone but these rooms were big enough I could have been comfortable with a large family!

Quiet, polite staff, clean rooms, warm indoor pool, nice breakfast. Definitely would stay again!

On the negative side: Bathroom door wouldn't close, shower curtain about to fall down, bathtub faucet was loose.

This hotel is relatively new looking. It is clean and in a convenient location, being very close to the Henry Ford museum and restaurants. The only negative was the bed pillows. They were very uncomfortable.

Staff were helpful and nice. Hotel was neat and clean. Kept up due to snoring patron next door. Free breakfast was ok; limited offerings, out of things before conclusion of time offered, including serving utensils and bowls for oat meal.

The gentleman at the front desk was beyond helpful in finding us a local restaurant suitable for our group. He was polite and offered to help at every point during our check-in.

Good location. Close to restaurants, museum, and other attractions. Staff was adequately friendly. Room was very clean. Bed and pillows could have been newer. Room size was good. Was in king bed room.

The hotel was very nice in every way, clean rooms, friendly staff. Only drawback was not the hotel, but the main roads there were divided, and made getting around challenging. The breakfast was fine - the scrambled eggs were amazing! - thanks to I believe her name is Summer. We were checked in by a young woman who was obviously new to the job, but not at all hesitant. She was very friendly and helpful. At a later point I was on their computer and overheard this young woman being coached on fine points of her job, and the coaching prompted her to think for herself instead of asking others. With employees like these, you can't go far wrong! Great job!

Good front desk service, room was clean except for a stain on the carpet, breakfast area was clean and the food was plentiful (turkey bacon should be replaced with real bacon). Parking space seems somewhat limited and the room thermostat wouldn't allow the temperature to cool enough for a comfortable night's sleep.
