*This studio is located near one of five pools on the property, a coin laundry facility, and a short walk away from the white sandy beaches and the emerald waters of the Gulf of America! Complimentary access to Sandpiper Cove’s five sparkling swimming pools and three hot tubs located conveniently throughout the property along with charcoal grills, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts and a pitch and putt 9-hole golf course. Two of our pools are heated for your comfort during the winter months. Starting at the time we drove into the parking lot, the 2 guys at the front gate were very polite, the office staff were very professional & knowledgeable about the overall codes, rules & directions, the studio condo apartment was shiny, clean & smelt fresh...... We had a great time in Destin, FL.... can't wait until I visit again....

Good, but needs a few improvements

This is my second time staying at Sandpiper Cove. I specifically chose this unit because it listed an ice maker, and the previous unit I stayed in did not have one. Well, the ice maker was broken. We notified staff immediately, and while they sent maintenance out, the issue was not resolved during our stay, nor did they communicate with us about the issue. We happened to run into the maintenance guy and specifically asked, and he said it had to stay off because there was a water leak, but otherwise we would have never known. Also, this unit didn’t provide many basics that other units provide (e.g. salt/pepper, wrap/foil/bags, etc.), which was disappointing. Additionally, while they had blackout curtains on the sliding door, they didn’t in the window (same room), so the room was fully light by 5:30 am everyday. Location is great - 3 min walk to beach, but overall wouldn’t choose this specific unit again.

This was a great place to stay! It was actually a little nicer than I expected and the location was unbeatable for the price. Just across from the beach, pool right outside, and a short drive to the harbor. It was comfortable and clean.

Cute little place

Recently stayed here with my kids. At first I was iffy about being small. It was perfect! It had enough room for us. My kids are 13-9-1. It was a short walk across the street to the beach. The pool is right outside and plenty of parking! The only thing I disliked was the bathroom tub is kinda hard to get in and out of being short! Other than that it’s perfect. Has all the basic cooking necessities! Would definitely stay here again

Pleasantly Surprised!

I originally rented this for a low-cost spring break trip for my teen daughter and I. We were excited when my sister and her adult daughter were able to meet us. There was plenty of room for 4 people to be comfortable. We made all our meals and packed lunches for the beach. The beach and beach bar are literally 1 minute walk! The condo was clean and had what we needed. I would stay again! Destin was beautiful!

Worth repeating

This unit and all of the property seemed to be very well kept. All of the staff was very polite and accommodating. The location is very convenient. Our only reservation was there is not a washer and dryer in the unit. It is nice that you can take your linens to the office and have them replenished.

The condo was very nice! My only complaints are: 1. The strong odor of sewage while relaxing at the pool. It’s awful! 2. The unit is an upstairs unit that requires you to climb 3 flights of stairs. The listing doesn’t clearly state that it’s an upstairs unit. However, you can tell by looking at the picture of the balcony. Would’ve been nice if the listing actually stated that it was a second floor unit. Overall, I can’t say enough good about this condo and area. Great place and we would definitely return!
