Don't use the restaurant!!! Service POOR, food was not as ordered. Soup Very very spicy..not eatable waitress said... cook added Too much spice...gee sorry!! Still charged us Breakfast okay but had to ask for juice and toast.

Slides were down and we weren't informed until we got there, which was a big reason why we chose there. Wish the pool opened at 8am. Empty Kleenex box in room. Don't they restock that stuff every day? List of channels for a tv that we didn't even have in our room. Wish we knew it didn't have a bathtub as we had 2 small children. Restaurant food and service was awful. Rooms were quiet.

Rooms were clean, but could have used a good vacuuming around the edges. My kids really enjoyed the indoor water park and the staff was extremely friendly. I would stay there again.

Comfortable room and had a nice view of a courtyard. I knew there was a waterpark, so we requested a room far away from the pool. This would be a great place for families! My only issue is the chlorine smell throughout the hotel.

Check in and out was great, nice staff, quick. Room was good. Stain on carpet, not a big deal. Nice big TV with good selection of channels. Newly renovated bathroom, however the pocket door was weird. No fan/vent in bathroom so after all 4 of us showered it was a steamy mess. The carpet outside of the bathroom got soaking wet, I think this was do to the pocket door and not much of a transition from tile floor to carpeting. The room stayed damp throughout the stay. The pool area was nice but the pools were rather cold. The kids were very disappointed they were not allowed in the hot tub (no one under 18 years). The signs all over say no lifeguards on duty, however there were at all times at least 5-6 "employees" that acted as lifeguards. It was really weird and uncomfortable having them stare at us in a hotel pool (I've never experienced lifeguards in an inside small pool area). The hours of the arcade and pool were weird too, they were closed from 11-1. I have never been to a hotel where the pool closes everyday during the day.

We are a family of 4 with two young girls. We have stayed here three or four times. It's on Int. 80 and basically you are 15 minutes from several things in any direction. They have the best swimming pool if you have crazy kids. There are slides and pool areas for every age. The rooms are decent and the price is fair.

We booked two rooms with king beds and one with two queens, what we were given were three handicapped rooms with a queen bed and sofas in each room. When I questioned our booking was told that was all they had. There is no place to eat food brought in from the outside without eating it in your room. Our rooms did not have a desk so this task of having 8 people eat pizza in one room was a real task. We did eat breakfast in the restaurant which was a good experience. Priced reasonable and ample quantity and tasted great. The waterpark was nice for the kids but I honestly would have to think twice about staying here again.

didn't clean/refirbish room even when gone from 11:00AM - 9:00PM front desk didn't answer phone, had to go to desk at 4:00 pm broken toilet seat, but fixed promptly

Great hotel directly off the interstate. Clean hotel with indoor water park, bar, restaurant, free coffee and CLEAN rooms. We do the water park, breakfast, dinner, bar and there is a fridge and microwave for leftovers. Very close to many restaurants and minutes from Adventureland. Great value for what you get and great overall for families. I give this all 5's because we have stayed here twice yearly for the last 4 years and it has all been perfect. Breakfast is worth the $8 or $9 dollars!

I was needing a place to go for a girls weekend with my friend but she was bringing her little boy. So this was perfect with the waterpark. We could sit and watch him play and have drinks.

My kids were so excited and enjoyed the time there. That's why we often come here.

Water park is only for small kids. Hotel was getting a little run down. Showers are ridiculous with no door

the hotel meet my expection! i made this reservation during a trip and not study ahead of time. i am very luck to enter this hotel. there are plenty room in the hall and room is very clean. we had a wonderful time!

Kids small to pre teen will love it. My teen did like the arcade. Close to good shopping and food.

I brought my two oldest kids ages three and five to this hotel for a one night stay to get them out of the house. They had a great time staying in the hotel and an even better time swimming and using the pool. I was disappointed that the Jacuzzi was not working while we were there because that's what I was looking forward to the most. The only reason that I didn't give staff friendliness five stars was due to a bad experience with the bartender. He was rude and not knowledgable about the food voucher I had.

If you have small children that have been couped up in a car all day and you are traveling through Des Moines, then this is a great option to consider. We arrived at the Ramada around 8:30 in the evening after a full day of driving and played in the water until past 10pm. The kids had a blast and then slept great after all the exercise. The water park is perfect for kids 12 and under. It has a couple of fun water slides for "big kids" but otherwise it doesn't have much to offer teenagers and older. The water park is not an option to consider without age appropriate children.

Booked several rooms for out-of-town guests attending a business meeting. All commented on convenience, nice rooms, and attentiveness of staff. Several noted that they would be back with their children to take advantage of the great indoor pool area which provides fun for kids and easy, comfortable supervision by parents from surrounding seating and pool bar area. Value-wise, just a little on the high side for the vicinity.

It was very nice. My kids enjoyed the waterpark. The food was good too. Will definitely stay again.

Nice room, fun time at the waterpark, and good food from restaraunt. Only down falls were late check in time and the hot tub wasn't in working order at this time. Pool staff were very nice!

Nice water park inside with tiki hit for those who enjoy multitasking with a cold one.
