people aloud to make a lot of noise after midnight, had to call front desk.

I stayed for 3 days: Thursday to Sunday. After day one, the room looked the same as I left it. I had enough clean towels. After day two, the room looked the same, same trash in the trash can. Why complain, I was leaving the next morning... my towels were still clean. The hotel is so spread out on one floor that perhaps housekeeping could not keep track of which rooms are occupied and which rooms are not occupied. I saw a small fitness room, but I kept postponing to use it. Overall, my stay was uneventful. My main purpose was to visit Ames, but because of the ball game, it was very very difficult to book at a reasonable hotel in Ames. Ankeny is just 20 miles away. A big plus for this place: a nice and good diner is attached. That's where we get our hot breakfast. Yummy. It reminded me: I stayed here about 3 years ago... I remember the diner. There are many parking spaces: I could park near my room and enter the through a secured back door.

We stayed at this hotel for three weeks in August. The floors weren't vacuumed for the first week then never again. The toilet wasn't cleaned for two weeks, so long it had a black ring inside from their water. They changed our sheets the day before we left. They shower was probably the worst. During your shower it would go from scalding water to straight cold. The shower head was fixed in position also and couldn't be moved.

We were able to get this room even though it was State Fair time and the room and the price were very good and worked perfectly for our overnight stay while going to the Fair.

Hotel staff were very nice. Toilet ran after every rush and hot and cold water were hooked up backwards. Lots of pillows, that's nice.

Breakfast was good. The pool was nice. Bath was big but the sink was small, there was no place morning stuff.

room is old, bathroom floor is cracked. not very impressed.

Everything was good for a weekend trip to Iowa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very friendly, safe, good TV, basic stuff! It is very good for the buck! I recommend this place.

This was a pretty good motel. We got a good price on it

We had a really nice experience. From the reviews, I expected less. Room was clean. Pool was nice. The breakfast was really good. We stayed at a much higher priced hotel in the area the night before and found this hotel a much better value!

Great staff, nice sit down breakfast. Hotel was clean, but could use a little updating, and there is no elevator.

Comfortable Beds. Staff Nice. Hallway floors need to be vaccumed. Close to the Adventure Land Park.

The room and the bathroom were very clean. The only thing is that there were paint chips all on the ground in front of the door that we used to enter our room. They were there when we got there on Friday and they were not cleaned up until we left on Sunday. But it was nice and very close to the expressway.

We stayed there just one night but it was a good experience

I stayed there with my family and it was nice we had a room and it had a dorr leading to the pool area. The only thing they could do better is to maybe give free breakfast since your paying to stay there and all that. But the location you would think is great because I thought that and one of my bags was stolen from my car.

Room was clean and was above the pool area. The bed was comfortable, the smell of chlorine came into the room but was not completely overwhelming. The complimentary breakfast was great.

We booked this hotel at the last minute & had a great time. Very clean!

Staff was very helpful and hotel room and free breakfast was great for the price
