The trip was a birthday treat for my little granddaughters 4th birthday and I couldn't have chosen better.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The hotel itself is close to everything.Great value and highly recommend.

I stayed here with my girlfriend as we wanted to stop over in derby so we can head out to alton towers the next day. Good location in derby city centre and close to all the bars and restaurants, the car park isnt the biggest but we was lucky to get space so its best to get there early! Rooms were clean and had nice views of the city, good quality beds and had a great nights sleep. would highly recommend!

Nice hotel in a nice location, parking on site which is a bonus, the staff are friendly Nd the rooms comfortable, free wifi good for working too, only thing that let it down was breakfast, the fry up was a let down and the fruit too hard and bitter, otherwise a decent all rounder

When we arrived the car park was full but the very helpful ladies on reception explained where we could park at a discounted rate just around the corner. We had asked for a high floor with a city view and were pleased to find our room on the seventh floor with a nice vista. The room was clean and tidy, not huge but certainly large enough for our needs. The bed was very comfortable,a good hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities.

We stayed at the Jurys Inn in July,2017 and had black mould in our bathroom ceiling and on the bathroom tile grout. The carpets were also very grubby.A very disapointing stay! I left a review stating the problems and to the hotel's credit, they did write a letter of apology, which I appreciated. They offered to let us stay during our next trip to Derby at a preferential rate in a superior room. Not sure if you have to stay in a superior room to avoid the black mould? When I asked what the "preferential rate" for our next stay would be it turned out to be just £8 less than we had paid for the original room. I didn't expect a reply to my review,so I did appreciate their email with the apology and the offer of the preferential rate for our next stay, but to offer us a room at just £8 less than we originally paid I take as an insult. Although we stay in Derby fairly regularly,we were unlikely to return to the hotel after our experience with the mould, but the £8 discount offer means we will definately not be back! If that's the value the hotel place on an unhappy customer they're better off offering nothing!

I have been staying at the Jury's Inn for the past three nights for business reasons. Today I experienced great customer service from Chantelle who was attentive, well organised and very polite (which I say can be a rare treat) in hotels these days. The food I ordered was prepared by the chef Rob and was to a high standard. I will dine there tomorrow to enjoy the experience again, well done to Chantelle and Rob you are a credit to the Inn and should be proud of the service they have given. Anthony

clean environment, fast service, comfortable bed -> main downside, too noisy due to traffic (noisier @lower floor rooms) can get really crowded in the morning for check-out but very good tool already implemented "express checkout" does make it much easier!

The hotel was very clean, reception area was big with outdoor space. The view from the third floor onwards was beautiful. The staff were friendly. The location was good as it was close to Intu Derby shopping centre where we had indoor golf and bowling. The only bit was moving our luggage from the parking space to the hotel itself. Overall, very happy customer.

Car park under the hotel but you have to walk around to the hotel entrance. Not a deal breaker but not ideal as hosing it down at the time arrived so clothes on hangers suitably damp by check in. Room comfortable and good nights sleep but car park was a pain tbh

Thank you to Tayla, Dan and all of the night staff at the Jurys Inn who were working Saturday, 10 August. On arrival they upgraded us to an executive suite and decorated my whole room with balloons, cards, cakes and beautifully arranged towels!! I was also given a complimentary drink at the bar before going in to town to celebrate. Best birthday I have ever had, one I will never forget thanks to all of the team xxx
