Staff were extremely helpful, room was immaculate and the food of a very high standard. I thought the lack of parking might be an issue however with the discount the car park nearby was actually quite cheap. very close to nice bars and restaurants
Pleasant stay. Was only staying for a couple of nights but it was nice and peaceful. Efficient breakfast service and loads of variety of food. Room service efficient. Staff were lovely and helpful. Would recommend to anyone visiting Derby.
Got this hotel through an Alton towers package. Nice hotel which is ideally located within Derby city centre so picking for food in the evening were great. Hotel itself was modern but lacked in car parking. Only 35 spaces are in the underground car park with additional parking a 5 minute walk away. Rooms where clean and spacious. We stayed on a Saturday night so party goers where staying there also which was made apparent in the evening where various rooms where loud, one of which had a smell of cannabis coming from within. The walls were very thin and you could hear everyone coming back in the early hours, up to 6am, which woke both of us up each time meaning we both had a poor nights sleep. However, I imagine this would of been different would we have stayed on a week night.
It was really nice to stay in JURYS INN DERBY during my business trip. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was in central location. Thank you for your quality service and tasteful breakfast.
Overall good stay. As visiting family, didn’t have chance to take advantage of all rewards and facilities. Car parking not ideal as below hotel and no lift. Drop off layby but still difficult for senior citizens.
Family room was sofa bed and a double bed. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. For a premier Inn equivalent you can get two double beds. Breakfast was good. This was part of an overall Alton towers package.
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for the weekend as my birthday surprise and we will definitely be back! The staff where so friendly especially Dan who helped us book in and made us feel really welcome! We stayed in one of the executive rooms with a king side bed and it was lovely and homely, bed was comfortable and room was spotless! Couldn’t fault it! And only a short walk away from derby town centre and the intu shopping centre which is really handy! Can’t wait to go back!
Have stayed here three times now. One word excellent. Warm, friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast. What more do you want for a short stay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Overall 10/10. Keep up the good work. Just hope next time the weather is better and so are the rams. Many thanks.
Good hotel excellent location near to city centre. Booked on booking . Com good value for overnight stay. Room was clean with very comfortable bed, duvet and pillows very comfy!!! Bath with shower and plenty towels. Free wi fi restaurant and bar looked lovely however we did not use. Reception staff very friendly and efficient. Parking available under hotel and very reasonably priced.
Booked hotel as located right next to both cathedral area and the university Hotel easy to find and has parking in basement Check in very efficient. Room in the 5th floor clean and had everything you needed including bath, shower and ironing board although like most modern budget hotels the room was “compact” View from the window was a dual carriage way that was noisy if you opened the window- however we only used the hotel as a base for exploring Derby and visiting family nearby In summary - a good value no thrills hotel which I would use again
