Friendly staff with airy rooms. This hotel is ideally situated to explore Derby being just across from the INTU shopping Centre with 135 shops and beside the bus station easy to access surroundings. The rooms were very clean, comfortable bed, good linen and pillows with Tea making facilities, hairdryer, iron, toiletries etc. An excellent breakfast in a bright pleasant restaurant on the 4th floor with views across the city. We’ve put this on our list for a return visit as we like to attend Pride Park stadium and arena nearby for sporting and music events.

The hotel was a modern building in a central location. The room was quite large which was great as we were a family if 3. Beds were comfortable and staff very efficient. I was a little nervous about leaving my car in a shopping centre car park as suggested.

Overall a very pleasant stay,we ate in the restaurant, which was ok ,if a little pricey .we both thought the room was very nice, maybe a few little tweaks would make it perfect. We did find some of the staff a little disorganised,in so much that there seemed to be a breakdown in communication.it also seemed odd that the room service menu was larger than the hotel restaurant menu.on the plus side we thought that the buffet breakfast was very good.

Stayed in a few different hotels in Derby now, and I always end up back here. Nice clean rooms, comfy beds, decent showers, and decent breakfast. Bar is a little limited and a little expensive, but apart from that, it's the best of the bunch in derby.

Having stayed in a couple of other hotels in Derby this one is the best so far. The staff were all very helpful indeed, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is right in the centre of Derby so good for the shops but also close to the roads out towards Pride Park. The breakfast was fairly standard buffet style but omelettes, poached eggs, skippers and a few other items available as cooked to order. A good selection of other items - cereals, pastries, yoghurt and so on and better bread than most places. Did eat first evening as pouring with rain outside. Food good but little atmosphere in restaurant which was a shame. Price is similar to Premier Inns but you do get individual soaps and toiletries and the room feels more welcoming. Only downside is parking - now I know how to get to the car park it's fine but in the dark with the rain pouring down was a nightmare.

We stayed here for 2 nights , a double room overlooking the river, it was clean and quite roomy, we had a problem locking the safe but after informing reception it was quickly fixed. The staff were lovely and pleasant and its in a great central location opposite the Intu shopping centre. We had breakfast both mornings and it was one of the best we have had on our travels, a really good choice and piping hot ..We would stay again .

My 4th or 5th overnight stay here with my wife, and cant fault it, ideal location, quiet and comfy, excellent food and very polite and attentive staff who make it what it is, always wish we could stay longer.

Great hotel with large, clean, quiet and comfy rooms. Local & friendly staff was also appreciated. Restaurant and bar was also good and not overpriced. Only negative was the car parking - why they didn’t build an underground car park when they built the hotel was a huge mistake. Instead you have to park in a busy multi storey car park with the City centres shoppers a few hundred metres away and finding a spot in busy periods can be a problem....

Lovely modern hotel in city centre but with views of the river and grassland. Very clean and well appointed rooms. The restaurant is particularly good. Staff are so pleasant and obliging. The only problem for us was access by car. Had to park in the multi storey and this necessitated a ten minute walk carrying luggage. Not ideal especially in bad weather. Disabled guests would find this impossible.

Location is perfect and the rooms are lovely! Staff are always pleasant. Only thing we found is that the check in staff didn't make note of our late check out to which we got a phone call, then had two housekeepers come in and quickly exit out of our room. So central, and price is good for what you get. The rooms are always very very clean and I can't complain about anything.
