Super 8 Denver Midtown

Hotel was mostly empty. Kind of eerie but prolly a good thing. The view of downtown Denver was magnificent. The room was okay, nice bed, pillows. The hot water wasn't that but adequate. Close walk to a Pepsi Center, Coors Field. Great spot for going to sporting events or downtown Denver. Lots of neat walks my paths to downtown.

The location is good, the room is ok but i stay 3 days and they never clean the room. I understand it was Christmas, but i called the front desk and she told me: "I only have one lady working today" and i was totally understanding and ask her if i can just get clean towels and get the trash because nobody came yesterday (a day before Christmas) and she reply: "I don't know what happen yesterday". That was all, and of course I didn't even get my clean towels!

Bad service the door didn't close right and i asked for a shuttle and was told yes but then waited for it and was told someone had quiet and no ride was available

My stay at the hotel was not the worst. I checked into one room the first day but was moved to another room the second day because the remote control and television did not work. The second room was much cleaner and spacious. The one annoying thing was that my room key would not work and I had to get a new one each time I wanted to enter the room. The hotel staff was nice to me and friendly so that made walking back and forth not so bad. I loved the closeness of the Denver Aquarium; it was about a ten to fifteen minutes walk depending on your pace. Anyway, I will visit Denver in a few months and might consider staying at this hotel again.

The hotel is pretty close to downtown Denver but thats all it has going for it. The room looks ok in photos but the condition of the room or bathroom is bad. The bathroom looks like its been patched up 100 times. There was gum on the wall and a cigarette bud on the floor when we walked in. The beds seem clean and the room didn't smell..Our fire detector had a Walmart bag wrapped around it..idk if they were painting or someone wanted to smoke in the room before us.. The breakfast was free but it was the same every day (we stayed 5 days) and they WILL ask you for "breakfast tickets".. you get at the front desk.. We aren't too picky with our hotels, if you are looking for some where to sleep and shower then it can work. If you are looking for fancy or even a 4 star hotel, look some where else! The staff.. My brother wanted some extra sheets, the front desk said they couldn't drop them off for 2 hours.. we waited and still nothing (its around 11:00pm) so he had to go down there and still had to wait another 45 mins!!! The same thing happened the next night when we wanted more pillows and towels. No customer service, but like I said before if you aren't picky and you ask for anything in daylight hours you should be ok.

Wonderful staff.they truly treat everyone as vip.rooms are certainly change from the years.

The stay was as expected since there was only a need to have a room to sleep. Most of the time it was to be in the city and for that it was convenient with the amenities provided.

We were able to check in early 11:00a.m. which helped alot but we didn't get a non smoking room so had to deal with the musty smell. Was hoping to have had a mini fridge but no luck. Other than that room was clean and staff friendly. Really liked the location and easy access to the Pepsi Center. Will definitely stay there again when we revisit Denver.

All in all our stay was good. When we got to the hotel we were a little disappointed with the overall appearance. Looks like it was built in the 50 's or 60's and hadn't had much updating. It did have a pool which was nice and a full breakfast. When we got to our room we were shocked! It looked brand new and very modern. Must have been recently remodeled. It was in a great location but feel the $129 a night rate was a little to much for this place. Should be more like $89 a night.

Although a bit shaby on the outside, and badly in need of a sign of where to check in,the rooms were fine. Actually a good value for the money with a good breakfast buffet included in the price. The location of the motel was a bit far from downtiwn but witin easy commute of the busline. And a nice view of the Denver skyline to enjoy.

It's a great location, super close to the stadium and not too far of a walk to downtown Denver. Pretty standard room, nothing special, but the bed was nice and the water pressure was decent.

The room had no towels, an open bar of soap on the sink, the bath tub had no plug and the water ran constantly in the tub. Also there was trash in the trash can beside the sink. I will not stay at that hotel again. The staff were very upbeat and friendly.

Did not honor reservations, gave us a room at their other location 25 miles away. After travelling 25 miles in a shuttle that came half an hour late we were put in a beat-down smoking room, and were late to our conference the next morning due to the shuttle once again being late despite assurances otherwise.

There was blood and puke dried around the sink area. Dead spider carcasses were smashed on the walls around the shower. The walls were crumbling and water damaged badly. The toilet would rock side to side when sat on. Then, on top of it all, we found bedbugs crawling on the sheets on one of the beds. We left immediately, I don't know how this place isn't condemned.

The price and location of this hotel make up for just about anything negative. Staff is difficult to find and there is no continental breakfast but my room was cleaned and restocked each day regardless of when I left the room for the day. Yes there do appear to be some people who live there but I was never bothered by them or anything they were up to. Id stay in the hotel again, no questions asked.

my room had no heat. I call for a iron for two days I could not get one

This hotel is very poorly maintained. It appears ready to demolish and rebuild. Carpet torn, bath fixtures replaced cheaply, electrical outlets bad, lamps broken, holes in floor, no cooler, no window or operable door for air.

Easy access to I-25 and downtown but very noisy had to call security because of noise issues. People who stay there were all noisy one was grilling in the balcony with smoke all over the place, some were drinking beer sitting on the stairs. Teenage girls started using the pool and shouting at 1am. Ladies next room look like were reuniting after years and would not shut up at noght [had to call security now after having enough of it all]. Upstairs loud TV was going on. Because of the price this place attracts certain kind of guests, DEFINITLY not for business people. Would never stay there again. Thought I'll just use room to sleep and shower and dared to ignore the reviews but now I got my lesson. Stay away if you are looking to get some rest at night.

This was not a great location the room was old and when I went to lock the dead bolt there wasnt one would not recommend this place

This hotel has seen better day's and seems to be going down hill fast.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry to hear that housekeeping did not make it to your room during your stay. I have shared your comments with my cleaning staff to be sure that it does not happen again even when we are short staffed. I hope that your love of our location brings you back in the future. Thank you and have a great day
