Originally constructed in 1911, Casa Tejon is what you get when premium location meets immaculate restoration. Fire up the grill and enjoy an award-winning handcrafted Colorado micro-brew chilled to perfection from the kegerator. The gas fire pit in the backyard means you never have to worry about Denver’s wood-burning bans. Instead, with five beds, three bathrooms, and ample yard space, all you and your guests have to do is relax and enjoy yourselves! The Space: The stunning curb appeal and craftsmanship of Casa Tejon doesn’t stop at the front door. Updated and employing the perfect combination of light, color, and materials, the ultimate goals of comfort, beauty, and function were realized to the fullest. On the first floor, natural daylight flows from the living room through the dining room and all the way out into the kitchen. At night, ample track lighting ties them all together. Although technically considered three spaces, the living/dining/kitchen area can act as a great room and is perfect for entertaining. The kegerator is centrally located for your convenience. In addition to the dining room table, there is a breakfast bar. The first floor also has a bedroom with a queen-size bed and an attached full bathroom. The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The bedrooms each contain a queen bed, and they share the full bathroom. This stunning, custom bathroom sports an outstanding shower, featuring an ultra-premium shower head. The basement/bunk room of Casa Tejon offers some privacy from the upstairs and contains two twin beds and a chair for lounging. The basement also has a full bath. Outside in the fenced backyard, you will have access to the shared BBQ grill, patio, dining area, and gas fire pit. Guest Access: You will have the entire home to yourself. Please note that the backyard is a shared space. You will have access to the shared amenities including a fire pit and the hot tub! Please note, the additional Tree House is available for concurrent rental. Outdoor Fireplace is gas only; match light. You will be issued a $500 fine withheld from the security deposit if wood is burnt in the fire place. Please replace cover when finished. Interaction with Guests: Our home is professionally managed by Highline Management LLC. They will be able to assist you from 8 am-Midnight. Owner maintains grounds typically on weekends. The Neighborhood: Sunnyside is a city-center neighborhood two miles from downtown Denver with easy access to I-25 and I-70. First formed in 1858, almost 20 years before Colorado became a state, it was annexed to Denver in 1896 and is currently home to about 10,000 residents. Sunnyside has an abundance of coffee shops, breakfast places, as well as cafes and restaurants featuring a wide variety of world cuisine. Patios are popular, allowing you to take full advantage of the Colorado sunshine. Multiple microbreweries reside in Sunnyside, several of them offering beer gardens. The neighborhood has four large, family-friendly parks. In fact, all homes in Sunnyside are within half a mile of a park. Less than a nine-minute drive to the Downtown Aquarium, The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, the Pepsi Center, and LoDo nightlife, Sunnyside’s historic location provides options galore! Gaetano's (Classic Italian) & The Wolfs Tailor are two great restaurants in walking distance from our home. Take a morning walk to The Cherry Bean Coffee shop to enjoy a cup of joe! Getting Around: Feel free to utilize Uber/Lyft to get around town. You may also utilize the scooters or walk to Lohi. You may rent a scooter or bike to get to RiNo. Other Things to Note: Take note of summer irrigation. Refer to the welcome book inside our home.
