The room bathtub was really dirty. Bugs on ceiling and floor. Hadn't swept in awhile. Headboard had hand prints and was dirty. The shower bar had been bent forward leaving the curtain to hang farther away from the tub. The chair was broken, so 1st time sitting on it it falls backwards. The pillows were very uncomfortable because they were old and the batting is hard. The mattress is lumpy and Stained. They don't use a fitted sheet, so the flat sheet comes off the mattress easily. The staff dont know how to read a reservation, kept coming and said you need to check out, you're past check out time. First day!!!! Then on 4th day then on 5th day. One staff member was yelling to get out. Had to tell them check the dates of the reservation. If I couldve cancelled and found anther hotel I would have. They are so disorganized. Apparently they don't know how to read a reservation. 3 of them came to the room on the 5th day. Terrible, terrible, terrible. It lists breakfast included, but they do not have breakfast at all. I feel like I was duped, and should get at least part of my money back.This hotel is a dump. Orbitz rated them 4.2 but on Google they are rated 2.1. I would rate them a 1.

The hotel is GARBAGE. Everything about it is garbage. Such a nasty hotel with poor service and outdated linens with cigarette holes in them

Old hotel. Toilet and vanity were not clean. Floor was dirty. Terrible customer service. Wifi was weak.

Good. Room was big. Breakfast includes waffle maker. Close to where I planned to go.

Disappointing. was not the best. I was forced to move out before my time was over.

We originally booked this location for 3 days based on the photos provided on the website. What a load of crap. I'm not sure what hotel those photos were from, but it sure as he** wasn't this location. We checked into our room and saw bedspreads that were totally worn out and something my grandmother might have used. The rest of the room was passable but we weren't happy. I asked to be moved to the ground floor. I was but there were already dozens of other "guests" already living in that room. I could't and wouldn't live in there with roaches and asked to be moved. The front desk clerk was very understanding and worked hard to help us out. The third room was much better, but by this time we had had enough and left after 2 nights and went somewhere else. My recommendation is to either look at the room BEFORE paying or go somewhere else.

This place was VERY run down. It was advertised as having Wi-Fi and there was not any. My granddaughter wanted to swim and there was algae all the way around the pool. We asked about extra towels keep in mind there was 3 people in the room with one being a child I was told there was a strict 2 towel per room policy, that's not even 1 towel per person. My husband is disabled and they put us on the second floor we could work with that, we parked in the handicapped parking space and our license plate has the wheelchair symbol on it so we Do Not need the placard on the rearview mirror, an employee wanted to see the placard since we parked there and I explained about the plate and was told he did not look he just thought we should not park there. We got into the room and the clothes rack was falling off the walls the screws had come out on one side, the remote did not work so not television all night with a 3 year old, no internet access as advertised, the bed sheets smelt musty, there were no cups or coffee with the coffee maker and was treated rude when i asked for cups. It was not a good ecperience at all.

Bed stuff and bathroom look dirty and smelly. The bathroom was covered body hair. The drain doesn't function very well.

We checked in and were greated by a dirty room, refrigerator/freezer that had ice cream leaking all over. Non-smoking room wreaked terribly of smoke. Front desk clerk agreed to move us to another room. Room was still dirty, freezer was so full of ice that we couldn't have put anything in and then I realized that the only smoke detector was laying on the table, DISCONNECTED from the wires in the ceiling!!! When I contacted the front desk clerk, I was told that he couldn't help me and I needed to get another hotel. No REFUND would be granted. Folks, I am sorry if this seems harsh or spiteful, but this is a violation code in the city of Denton. I have contacted the Fire Marshall and they will be fined and mandated to repair it and any other room with no fire detector. They risk the probability of being Shut down if they have several violations. We went to Super across Teasley and had a wonderful stay for almost the same price. DONT waste your time here!

Well it isn't a 5 star hotel and you get what you pay for. Out friends room wasn't clean, but in our room it was clean and decent. The front manager was very nice. Sketchy people around the area though. I needed a cheap place so I got my money worth. I would stay again if I had too.

Suite was okay, I know what should I have expected staying at an America's Best Value Inn suite. I didn't expect big tears and wrinkles in the wallpaper, trim being held on by push tacks and tape, and a missing door security latch. These problems are really unacceptable even at a budget brand like ABVI. I would suggest perhaps asking to see the room before you check in to make sure of the condition. David

Wifi is rarely be seen and it is the hardest thing to join the wifi . Good location but cheap value

internet was so slow it was unusable. The pillows were about an inch thick, no kidding. The shower shot out one stream like a water hose. The room did not have any blankets. The TV remote only controlled the cable box, if you wanted to turn the volume up or down it had to be done at the TV. It was not worth the money, I don't care how cheep it was.

The staff was friendly. The room was old/shabby, but clean, bare bones style (you get what you pay for). The room needed more electrical outlets, as most of them weren't accessible (i.e., TV and other appliances were already plugged and others were hidden behind the bed). The free continental breakfast was very average (no juice, just coffee). I'd recommend this hotel for just a one night stay.

Booked for two queens - no, two fulls. Room reserved for 4, but had to ask for 2 more towel sets & no extra pillows. OK with 4 people, but disconcerting. Staff helpful & friendly - got a/c started before we got to room. On-site computer was in use by staff & friends whenever we were in lobby. Breakfast of waffles (2 irons, but no coating to keep waffles from sticking to irons), minimal cereal and other items. Sunny D & milk plentiful. Lots of nearby eateries - two exits north from Denton mall.

I had three appointments within the city of Denton

Had a very nice time there. Was pleased with mostly everything except that I had to locate a third ice machine to find one that worked.

roaches and 30-year old bedspreads

This place was VERY run down. It was advertised as having Wi-Fi and there was not any. My granddaughter wanted to swim and there was algae all the way around the pool.
