The staff was unhelpful and gave unclear information. Alight the view is amazing, there is no beach and the 20 minute walk to the rocks where they recommend a dip in the sea is treacherous and needs proper gear along with no fear of heights. The hotel was low end and the adults-only aspect of it gave it a creepy feeling, like these people didn't enjoy the laughter of children or adults for that matter.
We left the hotel the first day due to horrible treatment by staff. We have never been so mistreated and I have never checked out of a hotel early. First they informed us that the jamon was iberico. It was not and when asked about it they were defensive. That was a small thing. Then my wife was eating her salad and bit on something hard. It was a piece of plastic. Not a big deal but unacceptable. We told our waiter who said that "it happens" and "it's normal". I then went up the manager to inform him of this. All i wanted was an apology and new salad for my wife. The restaurant manager was very defensive and stated that this happens sometimes. He did not replace the salad. He offered no apology and stated that it was the kitchen's fault. I was appalled by his lack of concern and responsibility as he was the manager. I cursed at him and walked away. Of course i should not have cursed, but I was angry about how they served my wife plastic, didn't care, and offered no apology. The restaurant manger then became very aggressive, got in my face, and proceeded to challenge me to a fight. I declined and he insisted. When i asked to speak to the hotel manager he said he was the hotel manager (which was a lie). He then told us to leave the restaurant and that he would not charge us, so basically we were kicked out. My wife spent the afternoon crying because she did not feel safe there after the manager was so aggressive. I eventually spoke to the real hotel manager. He barely let us speak and spoke down to us. He immediately stated that he knew the story and didn't need to hear from us. He stated that what i did was unacceptable, which I agreed that swearing at someone is not acceptable. The hotel manager didn't care that his restaurant manager was extremely aggressive and challenged me to fight him. He then insulted us by saying that "maybe you're not of the class of person for this hotel." My wife, who is spanish, was amazed at how disrespectful he was and insisted on leaving. Overall, we did not feel safe there due to the aggressive restaurant manager and insensitive and disrespectful hotel manager.
