Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It is great to get a warm breakfast in the morning. Also, you get cookies and popcorn available for a night time snack.
Hotel staff was great to work with, very helpful and considerate. Hotel was full and they ran out of many breakfast foods. But overall very nice, but they really jacked the rates cause of room demand in Decorah for the weekend.
Quality Inn is rather misnamed. The rooms, at best are just average. There is no exercise room. No guest laundry facilities. Lots of local construction workers stay at the hotel and drink beer in the parking lot and front lobby. Need I say more?
We slept well! Isn't that why we stay at these second tier hotels? We don't want a home-away-from-home for one night: we just want a quiet comfortable room with a good HVAC system and great, clean bedding. Best nights sleep I have had in a week!
