-We paid for extra bed which was never given -A/C didn’t work for 2 days(room temp was set to 15 Celsius but room felt like 40 Celsius) - when booking thru ORBITZ we requested adjoining room but the hotel told none available though our arrival to hotel was 5 days after our booking. But after hours of suffering and complaints we were moved to adjoining rooms! -Duty manager ( Mr. Alaa Darwish) never listened to my complaints.He was always ready to reply with executes and never to listen. Never heard single apology spoken from his side even as a courtesy. He and Mr Shadi( receptionist) had contradicting statements about why the AC was not working. -food was below acceptable and lacked variety. - we were told that children of 13 years old are free to eat but we were charged for the food ( didn’t notice till before check out) -2nd day and while eating we were requested to pay the meal on the spot and they said it has to done right there and then( rude). The restaurant manager was looking so shabby and not dressed properly( his own clothes and taste) and he never asked any one how things are! - we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights but I wish we chose a different hotel. - Ramada( 4 stars they say!)had no decent customer service, the water kettle were so dirty that I took pictures of, room phones were not working or had cut wires, old TV sets and nonfunctional tv channels , face towels were available in one room and on the 2nd they were missing from both rooms & many more
Nice ! The friendliness of the staff is what made the difference. Particularly Victoria and Francis, and the staff in the dining hall. We also loved how close we were to the beach of the Dead Sea. Made a morning float easy to enjoy!
