The AC did not work
I came to the Daytona area for the first time for a mini vacay! After reading reviews of the beachfront hotels, I can across a nice review of the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Daytona. So, decided to look at the hotel and I was pleased. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick responses by the hotel staff prior to my arrival in Daytona via the App. The staff was very helpful with suggestions of places to visit and transportation. This by far was the quietest and most peaceful hotel I have ever stayed in, within and out of the country. I would definitely stay here again upon my return to Daytona. So, I hope the same staff is working and the peace and quiet still applies my next visit. Thanks Marriott!!
We went there for an event at Daytona Int speedway. The hotel is about a five minute walk away. So nice to park the car and not have to get out into traffic. Also, has a great "city walk" with food, fun, and shopping right next to it.
Property was modern and well maintained.
Was disappointed in this hotel and blame the management. The mini fridge in the room did not work at all, and the lightbulbs in the bathroom were out. We asked them 3 times to come look at them, which they never did. And, if they did, didn’t do anything about it. We couldn’t use the fridge at all and could barely see in the bathroom and stayed in this room for 5 days. Very disappointed Marriott!

Must admit i enjoyed walking into the property and smelling the aroma. Not sure what fragrance they purposely emitted thoughout the lobby but it was a soothing scent. The rooms are a decent size, bathroom and TV were a good size as well. Gym didnt have much but was clean!
Great staff, very clean and updated, awesome breakfast each morning. 5 miles from the beach but plenty to do in the area. We would recommend staying at the Fairfield Inn.
I liked having nearby amenities for eating and shopping. Loved the room I was in, felt like home. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Great place, very clean, cozy and close to the airport and restaurants, etc. only issue was the fact that their was no happy hour because the bartender was gone for the week. I would figure a hotel branch of this nature could at least have another bartender on standby or bring one in so that the customers and visitors could have enjoyed said occasions for their weekly stay. Other than that the place is lovely. Would recommend.
Great location across Daytona Speedway with good restaurants around
The property is impressive in features and design. You feel like you're leasing a condo instead of renting a room.

This 105-room hotel has free breakfast along with conveniences like an outdoor pool and free in-room WiFi. Centrally located in Daytona Beach, the hotel is connected to a shopping center, and a short walk from One Daytona and Volusia Mall.
Free buffet breakfast is offered each morning. At the end of the day, relax with a drink at the bar/lounge.
