This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. Our room had dust all over! The worst was the 2 inches of dust on the ceiling fans in the breakfast area. Floors were dirty and wall paper falling off. Ceiling tiles were dark and filthy. I never saw any cleaning service. The WI-FI did not work most of the time. I will NEVER stay in this place again. YUCK!!!!

We booked online, got there and they were having trouble with there system because of the weather, they have me a room and told me to check back later which was nice instead of having to wait, the gentleman at the desk was very helpful, room was clean breakfast was ok and the stay was great for the money.

This is now a Wave Hotel, but this is in need of a lot of TLC. There was wallpaper peeling off the wall and the carpet cut on the stairwell... The towel rack fell off the wall when there was a towel placed on it. Bed was adequate but I wouldn't stay here again.

What a great place to stay. Looks like it was just built. The staff was very helpful, and thier breakfast bar was will stocked. I had an easy check in and check out. I would recombined this hotel. Wright Patterson air museum is right across the street within walking distance. The only drawback is its several miles from Dayton international air port.

Affordable price, 10 min drive to National Air Force Museum. The room has amenities like a microwave & refrigerator, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron & board, cable tv, and free wireless internet service. The breakfast was continental consisting of cereal, bagels, juices, muffins, toast, waffles(my favorite), coffee, tea. McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Arby's, Subway, Gas Station are in walking distance from this hotel.

Recently took my family to Dayton to see the US Air Force Museum and stayed at thid inn. Price, location and cleanliness was very good, however there were some problems. The breakfast was very slim and the coffee machine was broken, so everyone was looking for a cup of coffee. Overall we were please but the inn does need TLC.

The only reason we stayed here is because we got into Dayton late and all those hotels were full so we had no choice. This place is filthy. There is a weird smell upon entering the lobby even though the sign says 100% smoke free I don't think it's enforced. The lobby bathroom was disgusting with "stuff" on the walls. The front desk employee was super nice and so was the other employee we ran into. It took a half hour to get a room because he had to physically got to the vacant rooms to "check" them. Not sure why. The room also had stuff on the walls and dead bugs in the corners. The bathroom was ok. It needed a wipe down on the trim and walls but wasn't too bad. The tub looked clean just a little stained. There was no toilet paper. The beds are tiny with only a thin sheet and a thin cotton blanket. They smelled clean although one bed had some kind of ash or debris on it. The air conditioner is old but worked. This place is not worth $89 a night. It's prices should be closer to that of a motel 6 or the red roof inn 10 miles away for $59. It was quiet and we did sleep well, so I guess that's the most important thing.

The Quality Inn Wright Patterson is no longer a Quality Inn, which may explain the problems we encountered with the service. First of all we had trouble finding the hotel. It was dusk when we arrived, and there was no lighted sign, just a makeshift sign that had been placed over the Quality Inn sign. The outside area did not look particularly clean and the neighborhood was questionable. Then the lady at the desk was unable to find our reservation (which we had confirmed twice since we were notified of the change from a Quality Inn). She eventually found it and explained that they were still in the transition. I then asked to pay for the room (which I had guaranteed on a credit card) with cash and was told that I couldn't do this without leaving an additional $50 deposit which would be refunded if the room was in good condition when we left. I asked if she was afraid that we were going to "trash the room" and she said "well, you never know!" I asked if they couldn't just guarantee the $50 on my credit card and was told that this couldn't be done. Since I was hesitant to hand over an additional $50 (which I couldn't be guaranteed would be refunded), I put the charge on my credit card. The room itself was large and nicely furnished, with lots of mirrors and a large bathroom with a nice vanity. However, the coffee maker had only 1 cup and there were no cups with the ice bucket. So I went to the desk and asked if they could give us a few more cups. Instead of getting them for me or delivering them to the room, I was told to just go into the breakfast room and see if I could find some. Upon returning to the room, we realized that there was only 1 washcloth so I had to return to the desk again and this time was told to follow them to the laundry room where they handed me another washcloth. The breakfast was OK, but the breakfast room looked like it could use a little maintenance. We were out most of the next day and when we returned to the room, we found that the soap (they had those tiny bars) and shampoo had not been replaced. It was clear from the number of cars in the parking lot and the lack of people around, that the hotel was pretty empty so it should certainly have been easy to service the few rooms that were occupied. However, since I always carry additional supplies with me I decided to use those rather than deal with someone at the desk again. When checking out, I told the person at the desk (a different person from the one who checked me in) that I hadn't received a receipt for my room payment and he said, "that's because we don't give one until you check out" and still didn't make any attempt to give me a receipt. So I said, "Well, I'm checking out" and he laughed and said, "Oh" and gave me a receipt. As I said the room was very nice, but the service left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't recommend this hotel and would not stay there again. I don't like to give negative reviews, but feel that other travelers should be aware of the poor service. I realize that things may change after everything has been changed over from the Quality Inn, but I don't think I'd want to take a chance.

The room was good and reasonably priced. The women at check in was pleasant. The hours for the continental breakfast were shorter than typical. We came down a half hour before closing to find almost nothing available and (the same woman as the night before) suggesting that it could not be restocked as the caterer was gone. She closed it up early and acted as though the cost of it came out of her paycheck. There are Quality Inn posters in the lobby advertising the breakfast buffet and free coffee but this management is obviously not on board with the program.

Reservation made through Choice Hotels and it was terrible. I was shocked at the condition of the room. It was not cleaned. Spider in the sink, that had been there for a while. No phone, no chair for the desk. Upholstered chair was very stained. Room smelled of old ashtray and smelly dogs. I do not feel the room was worth any amount of discount. The room was on the first floor facing a parking lot to a bar, the window lock was broken, but there was a stick placed in the window. Absolutely unacceptable. In addition, the bed was not freshly made, it appeared someone had already been sitting or laying on it. We tried to get a different room, but woman at desk was not helpful or friendly. We left and will never return. Will never use Choice Hotels either, don't trust their quality.
