We did not arrive until midnight. The night clerk would not let anyone inside, so we had to check-in through a small access window. It took about 15 minutes to get checked in and it was freezing out. At one point, the clerk walked off with the ID and remained out of sight for several minutes. The room was on the second floor. The steps leading upstairs were in poor shape. The railings was loose and felt unstable. The steps look like they could come down at any time. The room definitely could use an upgrade. But the worst part was the bathroom. Mold on the tub and the shower curtain and the walls. And, a towel from the previous guest was hanging on the back of the bathroom door.

Worst place I have ever stayed in, i have 2 12 month twins and a 6 year old boy, and so I wanted a non smoking room and ended up getting a room that smelled horrible and I called to complain and lady just came in to spray fabric softener!

Breakfast was bad. Rooms could be cleaner. Price proved the only appealing element. I guess you get what you pay for.

Reserved this hotel thru a travel site and it was a great price for the weekend. However, I reserved a non smoking room and when we showed up, they informed us that they had given away all non smoking rooms. We had a stay in a smoking room which smelled and had residue on the ceiling. Luckily, we were only there to sleep and the location is great next to all the big eating places!

Spiders in the bathroom, broken toilet. Sent to a room that was wasn't ready and still dirty from the previous guest. Burnt out light bulb in room. Wi-fi signal is unusable. Messed up linking 2 separate/consecutive days reservation - So got a nasty message on my cell telling me I was past the check-out time after the first day. Even after I called back, and was told it was their mistake - I still couldn't get in my room later that night. Had to have keys redone. Frustrating! Also, Don't drink the in room coffee... i think it spoiled. No real attempt from anyone at the hotel to recover my business after this awful stay. On checkout, the front desk clerk gave me a look that read, "Sorry, that's just what we do here" - Although all she really said was have a nice rest of your trip. (I'd have rather stayed in my car if it came with a shower)

The only good thing about this hotel is that it is down the road from several good restaurants and "better" hotels. I wish I could have gotten a refund and used it to get a room elsewhere. Upon arrival, I should have realized that the entire 2nd building has been boarded up, and looks like an abandoned building in a nuclear disaster zone. I booked two nights on two separate reservations, same exact request: 1 king size/non-smoking. ( needed to bill to two different cards). When I checked in - I informed the front desk that i would prefer to stay in the same room both nights, and housekeeping wouldn't need to do much. The first room they sent me to wasn't even cleaned from the previous guest! I was moved to a second room, where I had to kill a spider in the restroom, replace the toilet paper roll, and fix the toilet chain so it would flush. The next afternoon - while attending the event that brought me to town, I received and "Urgent" voice message on my cell - saying I needed to check out of my room. ( They obviously forgot I was there for a 2nd night) When I called back, I was told everything would be okay. When I got back that evening - my room key no longer worked. Add this frustration to the fact their "free wi-fi" barely gives any signal so I couldn't do any online work, and the have the worst tasting prepackaged in-room coffee I've ever spit out... I don't know how they stay open. If my car had a shower, I would have stayed there instead.

Upon arrival the staff was courteous and very helpful as it was our first time in Ohio. I reserved 2-rooms, both of which were sub-par compared to other Days Inn Hotels and Suites at which i have stayed. One room was equipped with no amenities, (microwave missing, air-conditioning not working correctly, no internet connection, and the smell of cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room) and throughout the late evening, the noise level was very high. In the future, we will not consider staying at Days Inn and Siites

Front desk staff was very nice. Shower did not work well and bed was not comfortable.

This was a case of "you get what you pay for". The room was not very expensive, but it was not very nice either. I guess I haven't stayed in a smoking room for quite some time. I was amazed how smoky my hair smelled after just a few hours in the bed. When I turned back the comforter to get into bed, I accidentally put my finger through the bottom sheet because it was so worn! No complimentary soap or shampoo for the bathroom..Needless to say, will not be returning.

dirty ,so bad experiences. advice for not choice !

This was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It was dirty, there was trash on the floor around the outside of the hotel, the door for the 1st room they tried to give me was inoperable and the shower and sink didn't work in the second room. I was booked for 3 nights and moved to a different hotel on the 2nd day and when I told them I couldn't stay there any longer, they said they understood. One of the 2 buildings in the back even had the rooms boarded up as if it was already condemned. In my opinion this place should be closed and torn down.

2 lights for main source had plug ins cut off. Told desk & never did get fixed. 2 towels for 5 guests. Ant infestation in bathroom. Pool was nice except for super over chlorination. Alot of shadey guests roaming balcony. Maid service mediocre as did not even make beds. Left clean towels. We had to vacuum our own room. Air conditioner filter filthy & inhibiting cold air. Breakfast nice, Wi Fi good, hair dryer & coffee pot in room nice except after 1 day, coffee not restocked. Just would not ever stay here again, even at price.

service was excellent, room itself showed signs of abuse, loose light fixtures, door hinges, a doorknob hole in the wall or two, which were not really professionally repaired, but when the lights went out, I really didn't see all that anyway. The room was very clean and tidy,A/C was already on, set to a comfortable temp when I checked in. That itself was a plus considering the 100+ degree days we were having. There is an outdoor pool, but, I never saw it, so I can't comment. Location was superb, any restaurant you can think of all within a 2 block strip, plus many of the bigger hotels which , I'm sure you'll pay for the name. If you're staying overnight, maybe two, certainly can't beat the price.

Because of car trouble I had to stay over for repairs. The hotel was conviently located and close to shopping and resturants. I would not recommend for family stay.

Vistied Dayton for my daughter's percussion competition and selected Days Inn Dayton North. The room had a noisy refrigerator, lumpy mattress, and dirty bathroom door. Booked for 5 nights but only stayed there one night. Went to the Comfort Inn down the street. Much better.

nothing out of the ordinary just an average hotel

Was there for the transam international show. Needed affordable housing and found it here! Not too close but much more affordable!

did not like it

We were very disappointed with the Days Inn Dayton North motel. The rooms were unacceptable. They smelled bad. The carpet needed to be replaced. The rooms were very dirty. Everything about the place was run down. Days Inn refunded our money.
