A lovely hotel - one of the best in the world. I always have to ask for a quiet room with special bedding for my wife as she is a very bad sleeper and has arthritis. They always provide it and all the staff are very friendly and efficient. Everything is superb including, of course, the food. We have already booked for our fifth visit next summer!
This was our last stop on a 11 day, 3 Hotel summer break by train in Switzerland. We stayed at the Hotel Seehof for three nights and found this hotel was the best of the three so much so had we known we would have booked in here for the whole holiday. The hotel was lovely, staff couldn't do enough to help you nothing was to much trouble even went out of their way to make sure you nothing spoilt your stay. We were on half board but were given packed lunches including water free every day. The mini bar, coffee/tea and fresh fruit in the room were all free. The meals were very good and the rooms were great plenty of space to move about with sofa, chair and coffee table. Davos has so much to do and see with transport either free or minimal charge. We will probably go back but for longer next time.
Even though the Seehof is a 5 star hotel, I feel they really went above and beyond to welcome us. Seeing that we had a baby with us on our booking, when we arrived not only did we have an upgrade but also a travel cot (which we had not requested) all set up in the room with a kids vanity kit all ready for my little boy. Mini blankets, towels and even a diaper pail was all provided. The staff were fantasticly helpful and warm at every turn. Even though we had already stayed in that particolar hotel before (as non parents admittedly!), this time we were so impressed that we vowed to pester our family to set up another get together just so we can go back and enjoy the hotel again. Very reasonable off seasons prices for a 5 star hotel, if youre going to treat yourself in Davos, its well worth looking up The Seehof.
The Seehof Hotel is amazing. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. The staff is very professional and helpful. The hotel is in a wonderful location and has an elegant feel. It is located directly beside the Parsenn funicular, you can ski or ride to the top of the mountain and have an incredible view of the Alps. The breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely be back.
I stayed in many nice hotels before, but there is something making this one a truly special place - and this “something” is the staff: From the gentleman in the garage to the cleaning lady. They will really make you welcome! Rooms are ok: • spacious and clean • very comfortable bed • fruits and soft drinks in the fridge • WiFi working flawlessly • coffee-machine At check in they will offer you a drink and when you leave you will get a bottle of water. You will also get a free Davos card that will allow you to use public transportation - great! Breakfast is excellent - one of the best I’ve had. Fitness room has only one treadmill, but then if you fancy jogging, I recommend to go outside - it is so beautiful there :) All in all, I would definitely stay there again!
A classic hotel ,exemplary of the great Swiss hotellerie. Seehof is located a few steps from the main access to the Parsenn ski area and the bus stop. The station of the Rhätische Bahn Railway is 500 metres away. The hotel radiates old grandeur and has fully satisfied our expectations. A friendly, multilingual reception, help with the luggage, a free car park in front of the hotel add to the pleasure. Breakfast is gorgeous and we have never seen such a choice of exotic fruits.Room comfort is good wthout too many frills. We did not try the restaurants but enjoyed the piano bar in the evening sharing generous finger food and a choice of drinks ,long and short. The hotel is definitely pricy and this is reflected in the public which is mainly middle age. As far as now we have not a single negative remark and will be back there next ski season.
They are extremely friendly to each and everyone. Helped us with great details! The bar on the first floor is a very cozy place to spend time, the bartenders are extremely friendly and getting to chat with them was very enjoyable.
The worst hotel ever, my room is so hot that it feels like a sauna when you get in there, there is no temperature regulator in the room so i did complain at the reception directly about it and they told they will regulate it centrally and it takes about two hours to get the temprture down which was a big lie, 6 hours later and its same so they acually cant do much about it, and they dont change my room either. I had the worst night ever couldnt sleep at all, its just horrible. So the bottom message dont book at this hotel, totally overrated with bad service and no air conditioning.
I choose this accommodation because of my business partners. Unfortunately the rooms have a humble ambience of a 3* hotel, on the other side you got some cool bars and a nice lobby with delicious restaurants.
We stayed 11 nights in February 2018 in this hotel. It was our first stay in Davos and we were extremely pleased by the hotel and by Davos ski facilities. It is clear that this hotel has the best possible location for skiers in Davos as it is just next to the Parsenn ski domain - 50 meters walking distance from the cable railway! Besides the incredible location of the hotel, we enjoyed the facilities of this 5 star hotel: I recommend the rooms with mountain view of course and highly recommend the half-board offering. Buffet breakfast - included - is very generous and the staff in the hotel extremely friendly and professional. Seehof is a 5 star hotel that has kept a family spirit and offers friendly and comfortable atmosphere for demanding guests as well as families. . It is really great value for money and we will clearly come back to Davos for ski next year and stay for sure at the Seehof hotel again. Congrats to the team and GM of the hotel!
