Remodeling. Parts that we done are attractive
At the time we stayed (June 2023), the hotel was under renovation. The exterior was poorly lit & there was no lighted 'Baymont' sign. Pulling up after dark, we weren't even sure the hotel was open for business. Our room was fine. Newly renovated, but poor quality of construction. The room door had been damaged previously (looked like someone tried to pry their way past the lock -- that damage was just painted over). The bathroom had a hole in the wall where the exhaust fan should be. The toilet seat wobbled badly. There were other, minor, construction flaws. As a plus - the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The first floor was totally under renovation (plastic sheeting, etc. The elevator was sketchy (jerky motion) - we opted to take the stairs to the 4th floor most of the time. It looked like the 4th floor was newly renovated. However, the carpet in hall was poorly stretched. Breakfast was odd -- super cheap paper plates utensils (the absolute flimsiest you can buy). The coffee might have been instant coffee. I think most of the breakfast offerings were purchased at Sams Club (cheap imitation Hostess Cupcakes, pop tarts, some bread and bagels for toasting, Great Value yoghurt). There was only yoghurt on the first morning. There was a working waffle maker. The front desk staff were the only staff we interacted with. Very friendly and welcoming. Baymont needs to inspect this hotel & make sure it is complying with brand standards.
I wish I would have known the hotel was in remodel, the pool and hot tub was closed, also the breakfast was minimal
The building is currently being renovated or possibly repaired (I’m not sure). There was construction debris in the hallways and a strong, unpleasant odor. We decided not to stay even though we had to pay for the first night as a cancellation fee. We did not want to stay in a construction zone.
The property is under renovation, so the new rooms are nice, but the rest of the building is a mess.
Liked comfortable bed with very nice bed linens, clean, used refrig & microwave.

Entire room’s carpets, walls, windows, bathrooms, etc.. we’re filthy dirty. The sheets and bedding seemed to be clean that was a bonus. Not recommended

Staff was friendly, room and bed where alright. The bathroom however needed some attention. It was not cleaned properly, I mentioned it to morning management. Other than that, no problems.
It was so filthy we didn’t even use our two night stay that was already paid for. Checked out and staff didn’t even care.
Room was clean and comfortable. The location was remote but it was next to good breakfast place which was good because hotel breakfast was minimal. All in all we will stay here again.
our stay was fine, the hotel does need a bit of updating, carpet stains and furniture replacement. Staff very friendly. We did not use the amenities.
Very nice place for the money. Beds were very comfortable which is great after a day of travel.
Very basic chain hotel. Room was clean and breakfast was all carbs. Nothing special.
Clean, quiet, and with quick access to I- 80 and US Hwy 61, this is a good spot for travelers who pick the Quad Cities as an overnight stop.
This hotel was way over priced, and the hottub was broken which is the only reason I picked it.
We arrived to them telling us that they didn't have a room for us. Booked a double bed room and they wanted to know if we would all sleep on a king size. When we said no - then they offered a king suite. When we got off the elevator we started choking from the smoke smell. All the rooms in the floor were marked non smoking. When we entered it room there were two ash trays - in a non smoking room. Everything stunk! Went to take a shower and there was mold all over the bathroom walls. The towels had a moldy smell. The TV didn't work. Overall, very disappointing. When we told the front desk about our issues and the smoke smell - they replied that the higher number rooms are all smoking even though they have non smoking signs. There were no "real" non smoking rooms to be moved to. Should have slept in the car!!
Hotel was clean with basic amenities. Staff was pleasant. Didn't have the free breakfast as only carb heavy food was offered. Would stay again for a night if in the area.
