Make sure you get the advertised room quality

After they gave us a lower floor room that was not like the advertised one, they went out of their way to make up for it. So, I have to give them full credit for it. We have had this issue with other properties too where there is a significant discrepancy between the advertised room that you rent and what you actually get. Orbitz/Expedia is aware of this but does not seem to want to do anything about it.

Vibe Hotel Sydney

Great Hotel

Great location just a few blocks from Chinatown and lots of hidden grocery and vegetables places in area. Just one full block from the Museum Stop on Subway from Airport. Staff exceptional on knowing tourist information in Sydney. Place was clean and I'm gonna stay again next month when I go back and also I felt it was in a very safe neighborhood

Sydney Wattle Hotel

Convenient and reasonable

Though my room was nice and the view was outstanding, I was not happy with the fact that the hotel had no elevator. The room was clean and the staff was "OK", but the hallway and staircase was shabby. The location was convenient to almost all of the tourist sites and especially Hyde Park. The first two nights were very reasonable in price, but when I extended the room for a 3rd night (which happened to be a Friday), the cost of the room doubled and it was not a bargain for that 3rd night. It took 70 steps to reach my room, so I don't recommend this hotel for someone who may have a problem climbing stairs.
