We booked in February for a trip in August but on the 6th floor, prefer something lower., but rooms are nice, beds comfortable and price is good. Font desk good on check in missed the fresh cookies though.
While the staff was pleasant and accomodating, the property is in desperate need of remodeling. The rooms are old and stuffy which doesn't leave you feeling overly good about your stay. I'm sure there has to be better options in the area.
Dated. Dusty. 1960 called and asked for the Formica woodgrained elevator walls back. The biker bar downstairs was trash. The breakfast was a joke. Never. Ever. Ever. Ever. Again.
Upon arrival to this hotel the staff in the lobby were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. However, the pillows were to flimsy. They need to be a little more firmer. All in all I was very pleased with my amenities. Kudos to the cleaning staff. The deodorant they used to clean up left a good smell in the bathroom.
Hotel is in pretty bad shape. Shows its age very much. We were on the 6th floor and the hallway was like a sauna and the room never really did get cool. The TV didn't work properly either. Hotel wasn't the cleanest either.
I stayed here on June 30th as I was traveling for work. I checked into my room after a long day of work. Around 1030 pm I decided to go bed. At 1100pm I was awaken by my arm itching I turned on the light and found bedbugs. I immediately notified the front desk. The next morning I spoke with the general manager who was very rude. He first tried to offer me a free night stay, then a 50% refund. After going back and forth he finally agreed to my request of a refund of my night stay, however he told me that if I gave him a bad review he would not refund me my money back and he would recharge me credit card. That is ridiculous. His customer service was horrible. Front desk staff is pleasant however GM is out of control. He even proceeded to call me days later to tell me since I reported the bed bugs he was recharging me. I do not recommend this hotel and I never write bad reviews but this stay was absolutely horrible and traumatic.
I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last few years and have always found it to be clean and comfortable. It is not a 5-star hotel, but it doesn't pretend to be. It is functional and convenient, with a place to get a bite to eat just off the lobby if I don't feel like driving.
The rooms were bad and the service was not so good. In the morning, the maid service just walked in on me without knocking and did not speak English at 8:15am. There was no breakfast to speak of with 3 bad apples and no fruit juice in the dispenser. The coffee was awful.
Had to choose a close place to lodge. And after hearing Danville Days was under new management, and remodeled we decided to stay. Found that the only "remodeling" done was noticeably carpeting and painting. First floor was redone in excellence; however, other floors still had mildew, and mold in the bathrooms. To top it off, they charged my credit card BEFORE checking out not after, and then took more money from my account than what was previously quoted over the phone when we reserved them. Very upsetting, and will never go back.
Outlet not all the way in wall, lights dim, chain lock not connected. Room was not very comforting, didn't have the clean feeling.
