Paid but could not sleep there. Left and found someone's floor instead.

I enjoy smaller motels and inns due to the excellent service.

Nice quiet place right off of route 1. Service was very quick and friendly.

The shower did not work, that was very dissapointing.

I paid over $100 for a room here. I'm a non-smoker and they only had a smoking room available when I checked in. The room was dark and dingy and reeked of smoke (I mean overpowering stench). The walls were wood paneled (ala 1970s) and the picture on the wall was missing a nail to hang straight. The sheets had cigarette burns in them and the whole bedding was saturated with smoke. When I met my family the next day, they asked if I had been sitting next to a smoker - the stench permeated my clothing. Some hotels charge smokers a $200 fee to clean the room after use - I feel the Knights Inn should have paid me such a fee in return for such a bad experience.

Room was ok for price. Dated but clean. Staff very friendly.

My wife and I booked a room for the weekend. Upon arrival the staff was friendly and helpful. I was surprised to find that within walking distance of 150 yards was a nice restaurant and sports lounge that we enjoyed to unwind from the drive to Danvers. I will warn however that on Saturday night it was hard to get any sleep in the hotel for us early to bed early to rise folks due to loud music coming from that very same sports lounge we visited the night before. Music stopped around 12:30Am

It is old and just very old and too many people smoking nearby

Not bad for the price you pay. It's on route one which is close to almost everything. So overall, it's good.

I made this hotel reservation for our drivers. When they got back they said that they prefer to stay in this hotel over another local Danvers hotel in spite of the fact that there are not a lot of channel choices on TV. Our guys see a lot of hotels in their travels and this one is their favorite in this area.

The Knights Inn was a great place for my family. Even though it is located a little far from Boston, we never regretted choosimg that hotel and were very happy and satisfied. Very clean also. All my family will stay that hotel again whenever we visit my daughter to Boston.

Very old fashion hotel with no amenities. To expensive FOR WHAT THEY location is ok good restaurants nearby

Great staff, clean rooms and great location............................................................

Bathtub was backed up, and no one came to fix it. We couldn't shower. Had an early flight, so we dealt with it. Location is decent for take out and to the air port.

we have stayed here before, they let us get our same room each time. really like it here

good for this price, clean, good staff. good for this price, good for this price, good for this price, good for this price, good for this price, good for this price, good for this price, good for this price, good for this price, good for this price, good for this price,

The room was basic. It smelled of cigarette smoke. The room decor was very dated. The breakfast was minimal. No frig and TV was poor. Very hard to find in the dark. We Chose the location because it was not far from Salem and T to travel into Boston. We stayed one night.

We needed somewhere to say for 2 nights for a wedding. It gave us a bed and a roof over our head, the price wasn't that steep, the folks were friendly, and there was a bed. Our needs we fulfilled. Only complaints were creature comforts, TV was a little funky and the bed was uncomfortable. But there was A/C than worked. That's a step up from our own apartment.

Booked this motel due to price and proximity to Gloucester. I found this hotel to offer a good value for a modest price. Not new, but clean and quiet. The only difficulty I encountered was locating the property Even using MapQuest, it was hard to find.

We had a family of four who had just vacationed in Saco, ME for a week and wanted to stay in Salem, MA for a night on our way home to Pennsylvania. I've stayed in various places around Danvers in the past 4 years, and was comparing places between 5 different travel sites. I found this place cheaper than it was listed on other sites, and booked it. It's a little hard to find, as it doesn't sit directly on the road- instead, it sits behind and below the hill from a restaurant. You really have to pay attention to the sign, because to get to it, you need to pull into the restaurant's parking lot and follow the purple arrows to the motel. My mother thought there was an "old" smell to the room, but it seemed fine to me. I liked having windows, the room was extremely clean, and the staff was friendly when I stopped by a few hours before check in. We finally checked in about 7p after a day in Salem, showered, slept, and were up at 6a the next day. The shower could maybe have a better shower head, but there was plenty of hot water and the bathroom was plenty spacious, which is important with 4 family members all over the age of 23 trying to get ready. The Wifi held up pretty well too, there were four of us all using our devices at the same time just before bed, and we were able to park directly in front of our room. It's not extremely ritzy, but if you just need a place to sleep after a day of touristing, it's a pretty decent place. I plan to come back to Salem next year and will probably stay here again.
