I ONLY STAY AT THIS HOTEL BECAUSE: IT'S INEXPENSIVE. I'VE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL 3 TIMES. THE LAST TIME I STAYED WAS THE WORST. NO ONE WAS AT THE FRONT DESK: WHEN I ARRIVED: I WAITED IN THE LOBBY FOR 10MINS. WHEN SHE CAME OUT OF THE OFFICE: SHE WAS RUDE AND SHE HAD A ATTITUDE. HER NAME WAS TERRY! SHE DIDN'T SMILE, TERRY GAVE ME LITTLE EYE CONTACT, SHE DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT MY CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. I ATE BREAKFAST AT CENTURY HOUSE. THEIR WAS HAIR IN THE TUB, ON THE WALLS, AND THE SINK. THEIR WERE CIGARETTE BURNS IN THE SHEETS. KIDS KNOCKED ON MY DOOR AND: THEY WERE RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE SECOND FLOOR BALCONY BETWEEN 9:30-10PM. THE TOLIET TOOK 20 MINUTES TO FLUSH. EVERY ROOM SHOULD HAVE A FRIDGE AND A MICROWAVE. WHEN I TURNED THE KNOB FOR THE SHOWER: WATER WAS RUNNING FROM THE TUB AND: THE SHOWER AT THE SAME TIME! THE TUB DIDN'T HAVE A SAFETY HANDLE. THE SINK WHERE THE COFFEE MAKER IS: THE METAL PLUG WAS BROKE. THE WATER WOULDN'T STAY IN THE SINK. THE BLINDS IN THE HOTEL SHOULD BE BIGGER BECAUSE: THEY ONLY COVER HALF OF THE WINDOW.

the room had mildew and moisture build up around the door, the shower was too hot then too cold and the liner in the tub was coming up. The place as a whole in side and out needs to be re done...it was out dated and dirty.

Terrible! I WOULD STAY AGAIN. NEEDS BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS AVERAGE. I THINK BREAKFAST: SHOULD HAVE MORE VARIETY.

For $47 a night and free breakfast (bagel/bread cheese and tea, juice and cereal) you could say it is ok. The room was not very clean the carpet looked awful and some of the wall paper was ripped. If you are looking for a place just to lay your head to pass the night and not too far from where your focus for being in town is (Wakefield for me) then you should be fine. It is not your regular hotel experience. Not at all. So you have been warmed.

I wish I had known ahead of time that this Days Inn houses what looks like "Section 8" clients. I have nothing against such clients, however, being put in a room between two families with small children was a real problem for us. Kids knocking on the door, playing in the parking lot with a grocery baskart, boyfriends (?) hanging out drinking beer on the sidewalk next door, plus the constant din in the breakfast area all made for an unpleasant stay. We checked out a day early and headed to Cape Cod. In addition the air conditioner "rattled" all night long. I could not sleep, they said they fixed it, but did not.

My Sister and I planned this trip forever. It was to be our special getaway. We thought that booking at a Days Inn was a safe bet. Well ... it was not. When we got to the hotel. There were clothes hanging over the banisters. Kids running around the parking lot. Come to find out it was a residential hotel. 911 had to be called all 3 nights we were there. We had to make sure we were in before dark in order to feel safe. The carpets were filthy. You could not use the shower because it had backed up from another room. It was the worst stay ever. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Visited Salem. The room was dirty, the hotel had working girls at night, and was running a day care center by day time. I was unable to eat the continental breakfast due to its appearance for one and the fact that every morning there were 10 to 20 unattended children in the dinning area (If you could call it that). One of the hotel managers who worked the reception area had visible herpes blisters on his face that he continued to scratch as he was checking us in. I saw needles by the dumpsters and groups of hooligans hanging around at night. My car alarm kept going off from the children playing in the parking lot. I did not feel safe in that motel. [...] I ended up leaving the Hotel 2 nights early and checking into a better hotel.[...]

Days Inn, Danvers MA, was not what we expected at all. There were families with young children that acted like the hotel was their playground. Maybe it is, but it shouldn't be something that visitors have to deal with. Young children running and yelling down the hall outside our room at 9:30 pm. And more noise from the adults downstairs after 10:30 pm. The room smelled dank as well. Spring for the extra half-star in Danvers, MA.

When I couldn't get my laptop to connect with the hotel Wifi, the front desk associate printed off the schedule of the bus route I needed. They also gave me exact directions to the nearest pick up point.

It was perfect. Location, tranquility, and safety.

This hotel was so bad that we did not go and enjoy Salem the hotel was also a home for the poor we watched the school bus come in and pick up kids. I cannot believe that we even had to pay for the room. Honestly we should have been paid money to stay there. [...]

This Hotel was near everything you needed. The only thing missing was a Fridge and Microwave which should be issued to every room. Other then that it was clean and quiet. Oh and maybe adding more for breakfast menu..For those who dont like to eat out.

Hotel room smelled fresh and clean upon arrival. Bed linens clean and fresh...no stains. Staff was friendly. Great value for what you get!

the people were great...well the food was all that great if you like bagels and donuts and cereal...if you like that then its great...there was a dennis next door and just by showing your room key...you get a discount...and if your going to salem very convient.....only cost us a 11 dollar cab ride...we took the transit to the commute rail an then the taxi cab all one way for 2 cost us about 25.00..
