Save yourself the headache and try to avoid this hotel/motel. It's not worth the money. You can get a more quality stay if you're willing to drive 20 minutes to a neighboring town. 1. Stained towels should not be issued to guests 2. Stained sheets should be discarded 3. Some of the rooms don't have hot water 4. Bathrooms should be scrubbed top to bottom after every guest. Perhaps of more than one person was in charge of housekeeping the quality of service would improve.

Large room, clean with amenities. Nice king size bed. Breakfast is nothing great but again, for the price, it was very good.

Is ok but not for the $ we paid for. No venting machine no ice machine. Coffee was terrible. No big mirror in the room.

Quaint, cozy and charming room! Frequently ravel to the area and will definitely be seeking this place out again. Only issue was big trucks driving by on the highway in the morning but not too bad!!

it was a good stay for the cost comfortable need bigger pillows they were very small

The room was beautiful and comfortable in a quiet location ! However the Wi-Fi wasnt working and the breakfast options were minimal and not appetizing

Hotel was clean. Nice stay. Town was very cute. Would stay again.

We stayed here since we were going to Ridgefield Playhouse for a concert. We wanted a hotel that was near the Playhouse since we would be getting out late from the show. Even though it was a place for us to basically crash for the night, it was so below-par, we wouldn't even consider staying there again even for the price they offer. Considering the part of CT it's located, one would think the hotel would be satisfactory. The building is incredibly dated and didn't appear that clean. The room was so small that we could barely move around. The room was also very cold and the only way to heat the room was by turning on a unit that looked like an AC which was very noisy. The hotel said that free breakfast was offered but the breakfast offerings looked unappetizing and unappealing. Basically one cereal, some bread and english muffins and nothing more. We just went to a local diner for breakfast. Next time, we will go a Danbury hotel which are only 10 minutes away.

This Day's Inn is in good shape. Warning: half the rooms require stairs, so if that is an issue for you, be sure to specify a first-floor location. The breakfast had surprisingly many choices including cereals and yogurt. The fitness center is quite minimal (three machines), but they all worked.

It was nice clean and everyone was super friendly.

At first, the management put us in a dark room in the back with one small window. For $11, we were able to upgrade to a light, bright room in the front of the motel--where they should have put us in the first place, for no charge. If the upgraded room had been first, we would have given the hotel an above average rating.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days while I was in town for work. I was looking for a clean and cheap place and this place almost fit the bill. In the room, right above the bed, I noticed a 3-4ft long section of ceiling where there was black mold from pipes dripping (a huge amount of mold). The room definitely had a musty smell too. When I asked for another room, they said they had none ready so I would have to wait and sleep in the room that night and get another room the next evening. That next morning in the shower, I noticed more mold along the bathroom ceiling. I had no issues with the second room. While I am not happy with how they handled the situation, I gave them 2 stars since I would more than likely stay there again given the location to where I work and price (assuming there's no mold).

We stood here because we were seeing a concert close by. The room was not that clean. I saw a few dead bugs and slept on top of the blankets for my own reasons. The staff were not overly courtesy. I asked for extra towels (because the room only contained hand towels) and the staff member gave me the impression that I was bothering him. The price made up for the lack of expectations I had. Overall, a good value if you need a place to stay a night, but I wouldn't stay more then that.

It is affordable and a value for the price. The place looks a bit lonely but manageable

Nice, convenient, hotel, nearby major highway and shopping

Staff was not courteous. At arrival we were billed an additional $20 per night for each of our two sons, coming to $90 some for the two nights AND the desk guy acted as if I had tried to sneak them in, although I'd been asked only how many beds, not now many people. Rooms were kind of gross, towels were thin and STAINED, and despite the extra charge there were only two of them. Had to beg for more. On the second morning, three of them showed up at the door around 9am demanding to know when we would be leaving. Checkout time was 11, that seemed a bit unnecessary. Two tiny paper cups, plus 2 paper coffee cups. Breakfast was a few stale items, no fruit, no trays so no easy way to carry it back to the room. Trying to say something nice: One young man, assume the owner's son, was smiling and did go get more of the towels for me. I have heard that the food in the restaurant is good, but we did not eat there. That's all. No, I would NOT stay there again and would not recommend it to someone else.

Our stay was great for its location on our journey and totally adequate for our needs. Good value.

Clean room. Safe neighborhood. Free breakfast is OK. Stay away from the waffles. Last year they were sour and this year the waffle iron didn't cooperate. The room is small, but then I don't mind, I just need a bed to sleep. The heater was in an alcove in the room which made it cycle on and off constantly. Temperatures therefore fluctuated from cool to warm all night long. Everything worked in the room and wifi reception was great. Not a bad place to stay if you're on a budget, traveling on business for a day or two and book with an online hotel service.

Good location, basics cleanliness and linens are not up to my standards.

Dirty rooms, dirty bathroom; unbearable bad odor inside the room, no available food for breakfast; my wife and daughter went to the car at 3 am for a couple of hours to sleep in the car until they were to cold and came back in... a total disaster
