We enjoyed our stay in the large, comfortable room. We were surprised to have a sitting area and such an ample amount of space. The breakfast the next morning had a good variety and was well stocked. We'll stay here again.
I reservations was made for me by my job and I thought it was going to be a bad experience but it was a good one and I enjoyed my stay. The food was good the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. I would stay here again if I came back on vacation or another training with my job.
Overall it was pretty clean and the staff was very nice. Rooms could be bigger and pool could have been warmer for a heated pool, but other than that, I would stay there again. Oh and good breakfast too.
This property needs an overhaul. This location is showing wear and tear. In need of a total update. Porcelain chipping off tub, door locks that don't lock, flip over latch missing on our door, and general overall maintenance lacking.
We were returning home to Florida from Chicago and our usual halfway stop is in Dalton, Ga. We have stayed at this property at least 10 times but it was unfortunate that we had the experience we did during such a difficult time. We heard numerous reports of gouging and over pricing during and in the aftermath of hurricane Harvey and thought with the national TV coverage surely this wouldn't happen with Irma. Boy were we wrong! We called the hotel late afternoon anticipating a mid-evening arrIval. They would not honor the coupon ($79.00) the property offered in a Georgia hotel magazine we picked up in the visitor center to say nothing of the fact that their room rates were now $144.00 a night for 2 queen beds for the evening of September 7th. Just a week prior we stayed at the property on our way north and they honored the coupon over the phone for $79.00. When we questioned the front desk clerk she adamantly denied they were not trying to gouge us due to the high demand of hotel rooms as many were evacuating their homes in Florida. We had to drive an additional 51 miles to Cartersville, Ga to find an available hotel room. Much to our pleasant surprise the County Inn and Suites we stayed at DID honor the coupon and were VERY accommodating for our late 11:00 pm arrival. We contacted Country Inn and Suites Corporate to complain but the Dalton property, like many others, are independently operatored and the corporate office quite frankly didn't want to hear about our complaint. I could just the guy on the phone sitting there with both hands in the air saying "Oh well, too bad so sad." We also contacted the Georgia Attorney General's Office and submitted a complaint. We will never stay at this property again.
Very nice staff! Highly recommend! Easy check in and out. Very clean and comfy! Nice pool, and breakfast, and yummy snacks. The beds were very clean and the room was well maintained. The staff was always eager to assist.
Very comfortable Hotel. This is our midway point on the way to Florida. The hotel room was great and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was filling and great coffee. The front desk was helpful and pleasant.
This was my first time staying at a Country Inn & Suites because a family member was staying there so we wanted to be close. Upon arriving, the hotel had a cute charm to it. The rooms were a good size, but the air conditioning did not work well. I had it set on 67 the entire time and it never got cold in the room. The bathroom walls needed a little repair work, but the room was clean. I appreciate that they triple sheet the bed. The breakfast area was small and the food was just ok in quality. The bread, bagels, and pastries were in individual zipper baggies, which just did not present well. The cookies and coffee at the front desk were a nice touch.
All rooms that are suites are about 1000 feet from interstate 75, so expect traffic noise if you stay here. Room 304 reeks of urine and chemical spray. They say they don't allow pets, but it smells like they do. Lots of dust on the air intake grills. Needs cleaning!
Myself and two co-workers stayed for an extended time while working in the area. Hotel and staff were wonderful, great price, the rewards program was perfect, breakfast was better than the usual you get at the hotels.
