hotel is changing hands. there was no breakfast as expected

Bathroom not clean, NO hand soap or any other amenities. Beds were hard and the "blackout" curtains didn't work. It was so bright outside of our window we kept waking up thinking it was morning. Used our full size room towels at the pool and the gave us hand towels to replace them.

have stayed at this location at least 3 times over the years but it seems to be deteriorating. couldn't use the laptop for the entire 3 days of my stay in either of my 2 rooms. red light flashing constantly on the phone in both rooms and i had to cover them with pillows. when i returned to the room one night the keycard wouldn't open the door and a guest from across the hall said she was having the same problem. wall switch near the door in the first room didn't do anything and i had to walk over to the bed to turn on the light. clock/radio unplugged and after i plugged it in and set it the radio didn't work, just a buzz. the clock in the second room couldn't be set to the correct time. bathroom door was damaged and jammed against the floor, very difficult to unstick and close. cover on the bathroom light was coming off. no bathtub plug in the first room and the diverter didn't work in the second room so it was hard to avoid being hit by cold water coming from the shower when it was first turned on. when i returned the second night to ask what new room i had been assigned i had to finally bang on the desk bell after waiting a few minutes because the employee who was sitting right there was so engrossed in his cellphone that he didn't realize anyone was there. i have to stop although i'm pretty sure there were other problems. a nearby motel is even worse so i might consider staying here again.

I was so disappointed. I wish I was able to get my money back and because I had already paid I had no choice but to stay. I spent a lot of time in my car. The smell in the room was horrible and when the air conditioner came on it smelt like urine. Had to buy some febreeze and it still smelt bad. I bought my own cleaning supplies and bedding in order to lay comfortably. It was the worst hotel experience I have had since I was born. police came the day we checked in and the day we checked out. Something illegal was taking place. the floor we were on seemed to have weird things going on . It seemed like I was in a hotel with prostitutes and drug dealers I'm not sure it's just the way it looked. The floors were nasty I didn't even want to walk with my shoes off.

I wasn't particularly impressed, but it was fine for the night.

I stay in a lot of low end hotels when I am trying to save money and I know that they are not a top tier hotel but even they should have standards. The room I received and from what I can tell, many other rooms in the hotel are the size of what I will call European hotel rooms. Small, cramped with undersized shower/bathing areas. The non-smoking room smelled awful. There were two ash trays in the room and someone had taken the smoke detector off the ceiling so it wouldn't go off and the staff didn't put it back before I checked in. The drapes were the wrong size for the window and were poorly hung. The carpet looked like it had not be shampooed since it was installed. The electrical outlet at the desk was very loose and plugging in anything where it would actually stay plugged in was a challenge. I don't expect much for the free breakfast but the oatmeal every morning was a LOT of water and almost no oat meal. It was like a weak soup. The location was difficult to find and two different gps systems could not really give me good directions to the hotel because the street it is on, is really not a street. I will not be going back to that hotel.

This is a good cheap option to crash for the weekend. The location is in an industrial area and it's not very well labeled. I felt safe but the area as a whole is just not that attractive. I was the last person to leave my hall that day and my bed hadn't been made when I got back. I would stay again to save money but would choose another location if I could get one at the same price

Quick weekend visit, don't expect any bells and whistles. Breakfast is meager, hotel room not very clean, no microwave in my room. Just a cheap place to sleep and shower.

This hotel is in a terrible location. There was no sign to show where it was located; off a side street parallel to the Pres. George Bush toll highway. I searched with google maps prior to leaving home to ensure I'd know where it was. That being said, I was fine and I was in the part of Dallas/Plano I had chosen to be. The breakfast was bare minimum with Tang for orange "juice", stale bread and basic dry cereal on offer. I stayed 3 nights, the second day I arrived back at my room 4 pm and the room had not been made up and my trash was not collected. I notified the front desk and they apologized, but I think it illustrates the poor management of this place. So, if all you want is a safe clean place to sleep, choose here. I will Not return here when I am back in Dallas next month.

this hotel was very run down. Our hide a bed was broken, our table leg fell off, our computer chair was broken. We even upgraded to a suite and it was worse the the regular room. Would not ever stay there again or recommend to friends.

After checking in a 2:10a, the last remaining single room was on the second floor, across from the elevator. Stained and ripped carpeting, loud A/C unit, horrible smell and less-than-one-star accommodations. Asked to be given a new room (told at a charge at first, then the new owners' son told me the next morning there would thankfully be no charge) and that took too long. Then I nearly was injured the following day when the treadmill stopped cold 8 minuets into my jog. Apologies all around but one of, if not the worst, hotel I've stayed at. Considering this is Plano, TX, it's a complete disaster. I understand that the hotel has new ownership and that many upgrades were not done by previous management, but how you operate and what you have is supposed to reflect what you represent. I'll never be back, even if it were free.

Staff was friendly and helpfull but the room was completely worn out. Carpet stained with a cut and patched area, fixtures worn. Hotel was hard to find with no sign at street entrance and is a quick right turn off the freeway exit.

Location of this hotel was perfect because it was easy access to main Highways. In few minutes we went to Frisco or Dallas downtown, as well as Fort Worth or Arlington. Hotel was clean, room attendants were very kind and helpful. [...]

I was able to book for $40/night [...] so I believe the accommodations were reasonable for this price. I was looking for a cheap nights stay and that's what I got so I can't complain. This is probably not a place I would take my family, but ok for a single guy that doesn't need a lot of perks and can make the best of it.

Stayed a couple days during Thanksgiving Holiday. The room was very clean and hotel was quiet. We needed an iron and was able to get one immediately. It was an enjoyable stay.

The hotel was fine. It was just very hard to find. It is hide behind a car dealership.

I booked online and because of road construction I arrived at the wrong Days Inn. Did not realize until I got to my room. I had left my confirmation info at home. Asked for refund from the other Days Inn and found the staff to be rude and hatefull. Will never stay at that Days Inn in Dallas ONLY Plano.

got in late and the staff was super kind and let the kids swim even though it was after hours.

I got lost in a neighborhood trying to get to this place, and that was after I found out it is not actually steps away from the hospital with all the other hotels, but on the other side of the highway. And I am from Plano. I didn't stay here because I stayed at home. I only booked the room because it was cheaper to do a package than a flight by itself. Anyways, I did check in and saw the room. The room seems like it would be fine I suppose. But the hallways and elevators smelled like smoke and the stairwell smelled like beer. The room was smell free however. And the pool was small, but I guess better than nothing.

Staff were wonderful and helpful
