I am expert hotel traveler of several decades all over USA and many foreign countries. From when we used to get Motel 6 at 19.95 to Macau where I stayed in $2,500 per night suites... I have pretty much done it all. I find myself amazingly in DALLAS little TEXAS and doing ok not great. Therefore money a concern. Have to stick to a tight budget and yet I WILL NOT stay in cheap and bugs and noise and stupid. I have been here to Dallas for over a month and found this little gem of Red Roof and darn nice! Look at the price per night!!! And there are so many hotels here on Orbitz listed in the same and quite a bit more buck range and this little spot better than the places going for 20-40% more. No bugs no cockroaches and entire hotel off Beltline in a quiet spot and loads of bars/pubs/restaurants and just dang nice. So stop your searching to save another few bucks and park your rear end here!

When I first made it to the room the hotel key that was given to me wouldn’t open the door, so had to go down to the front desk about 4 times in the freezing cold before I was assigned to a new room. Other than that everything was fine, the room was clean. It was a nice stay.

I came in to town early and asked to check in early. The young worker guy there would not accommodate me after they had told me the day before that if they had a vacant room, all I had to do was pay an extra $20 to check in early. The Red Roof parking lot was empty and they had plenty of rooms at that early hour to allow me to check in early. He wanted to charge me for an entire day to check in just 5 hours early. I went just half mile east of there and paid the same rate as Red Roof and they let me stay for a 1 day rate and checked in early. I wound up just cancelling my reservation with Red Roof. They preferred to let me cancel and loose out on a 1 night stay than to charge me the extra $20 to check in early. The greedy guy wanted to charge me for 2 nights stay. I even asked him if he would rather cancel my reservation than to let me pay the extra $20 and to get to stay there for 1 night. He chose to make $00 money than to take $20 and 1 night stay of charges.

Room was nasty and had an old smell.Couldnt even stay there.I am thankful that the workers at the front desk gave me a full refund.

I travelled from Atlanta to Dallas and excellent hotel to stay because of the awesome staffs, clean rooms, safe surroundings. This is my 3rd visit to the same hoel. I will recommend anytime to anyone.

Very rude staff. Already discussed for late checkout but front desk kept calling. Asked him to check in the book and he said it doesn't matter.

I showed up past midnight, and a man in the front was very nice. Extremely appreciated it. Overall I enjoyed the stay. The bed was a little too hard for my liking but besides that no complains. Will stay again.

Breakfast was not good. There was not much choices to choose

I stayed there three days. It was clean and kept clean daily. They made up the bed, cleaned and put fresh towels in the bath room. Fresh cups and replenished the coffee. The room was much better than other hotels I've used.

The room was as pictured and described. It was very nice and clean. Bedding was comfortable. Staff was very efficient and welcoming. Free breakfast was small but worked for us on the go.

Room was ok but had a pet smell, would not stay again.

It was a good room for the money with no frills. Inexpensive. Wifi OK.

First of all there was broken glass on the floor. The room was a mess. There was grit on my sheets. The breakfast was corn flakes and white bread. All in all the place was a disaster.

It was ok. Good rate for just sleeping. Staying again here the following week.

Room was clean and the staff was excellent. A lot of good restaurants very close by.Good hot breakfast in the morning. Was just staying overnight, but would stay again.

The actual motel does not match the pictures on the web site. This motel is run down. They were in the midst of renovating and there was construction debris stored on the motel premises and in the parking lot. I was not impressed with the staff. I had made a 2-night reservation. They setup my room key for a 1-night stay so after 24 hours my room key suddenly wouldn't work; this happened a a very inconvenient time. When I arrived on Thursday night I asked for a local place to buy a bottle of wine. The clerk sent me back down Belt Line Road where all the wine stores were closed. Later I found out that there was an open store on Keller Springs Road in Addison. This is the kind of motel where, at least when I was there, people leave their doors open and party on the balcony and sidewalks. I don't appreciate that kind of behavior.

great value for the location. Manager on duty was very helpful and offered the use of the hotel's internet computer for us to use.

This was just a room, very old furn. and the room needed some up keep. The local was great, very near dinning and major Hwys. The service was friendly. Other than that it was just a room.

stop searching for a cheaper hotel!!!

never again even if it was free

Stains on carpet Floor was nasty I think urine and blood Don't ask what's on the fridge

Room was nasty and had an old smell.Couldnt even stay there.I am thankful that the workers at the front desk gave me a full refund.

loved staying in red roof inn. repeated visit

good location
