Excellent and helpful staff, extremely clean and quite hotel. Bed very comfortable and decent breakfast. Plenty of free parking spaces as well. Definitely worth checking out the downtown of Grapevine - very charming with lots of shops, bars and historical places.
This location has one of the most co operative and helpful, sincere staffs that I have had the pleasure to meet. My wife and I had to travel to Grapevine, Tx to care for a family member at the last minute. I called on a Friday for rooms for Saturday for 7 days. This location was necessary because of the location of family member--that did not have room for us. The location was booked due to conventions in the area. However Lisa B was able to accommodate us in a temporary room for one night and then move us for the rest of the week. Upon Check in Eric was there to assist in any way and helped us immensely. We were able to get checked in and on our way to assist family member. Then on Sunday Mursheda controlled our movement and notified us when we could move. She offered to move us, but I thought that was overboard on my part. But I really appreciated the offer. The rooms were clean spacious, with Micro Wave, refrigerator and a nice snack bar area. Free breakfast in the morning was excellent. A choice of eggs, meat, cereal, breads, juices, coffee. It was ideal for us because we always had to leave the location early in AM and returned late at night. All others in this location were helpful and unfortunately I do not have all of their names. I would like to thank the staff. It was not a pleasure trip, but it was a pleasure to stay at this location.
Stayed at Comfort Inn for a week. I had no troubles, as often mentioned below. Speed was 200MBit/sec, as far as i can remember. Nevertheless I need to mention, access to my home server via VPN was not given. Thus I couldn't really work while I stayed. However breakfast was simple, but good and sufficient. And, referring to the Comfort in Comfort Inn: beds have been super comfortable. Only minus for the room is the shower with PVC shower head and no hot water at 10pm. To summarize: I had a nice stay, but the price is horrific. I paid more than in a 4**** hotel in Dubai. Nevertheless, this is on of the cheapest hotels around.
If you're there on business and seriously need the so called high-speed internet stay someplace else. It doesn't work and the stories of upgrading the internet soon are fabrications. I fell for that more than once, stayed 3 times since 2010. Internet has never worked.
Upon waking up on Sunday, January 1, 2017 . . . excited about a fabulous planned day. . .there wasn't any hot water. The front desk reported they were working on it but could not advise when it would be fix. I tried to wash my hair but could not tolerate the cold water. The "8' of us checked out WITHOUT taking a bath. I spoke to a very kind lady (she was wearing a cowgirl hat) who was checking me out. She apologized for the situation and showed sincere compassion. I asked for a discount which she said she totally understood. She asked the other lady how to enter the discount. The other lady said only the manager can authorize. The kind lady said she would write a note for Penny to call me. The unkind lady said "we don't give discounts for not having hot water. It's just one of those things that can happen at your own house.". Very kindly I said "you need to be quite.". The kind lady handed me my receipt. I thanked her for her kindness. Penny has not called me and my credit card has not been credited.
I once stayed at this property to understand how well the property since I was having family come into town. This hotel was great when I stayed and my family loved it know. I will recommend this hotel to people that need to stay Grapevine or Southlake.
The room was really clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful in giving us directions. It is located near the Grapevine convention center, you could walk there if you had to.
I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and the front desk gave my room key out to someone else. I have never had this happen before. I was changing my clothes when a stranger walked in. I talked to the front desk and the girls were rude. Still haven't gotten a solution from management. I am forwarding this to upper management.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also liked the tv channel selection. In my opinion the breakfast and selection was much better than most places we've stayed. In fact, when we visit the area again in a few months, hopefully we'll be able to stay here again.
Was here for a weekend conference at the Convention Center 2 blocks away. Overall, the staff is very good but has a poor physical plant to work with. Pluses: * Friendly helpful staff. I used the van service to and from the airport which was fast, efficient and sociable. Front desk was always manned and courteous. * Room very comfy, quiet, excellent bedding, HVAC good Minuses: * Just one slow elevator, awkwardly placed. * Light in parking lot too bright for skimpy blackout curtains. I like a dark room. * Breakfast area small and inconveniently laid out. Breakfast just average. To give them credit, the hotel was full, or nearly so, but still things were running out too often. * Wi-Fi was free, but woefully slow by today's standards. My laptop kept going offline and I was never able to get enough of a signal to operate my smartphone. In sum, it's okay for the convention, but I wouldn't bring my family here.
