Did not like the reservation issues/problems. Bad attitude, and unprofessional. Micheal worked out my issues. Thank you Michael.

Mediocre property with one MAJOR problem. Don’t be fooled by the “offered” valet service for 38 dollars. If you want to park at the hotel, you MUST pay for the parking. Otherwise, you need to pay for parking at another lot at your own risk. This is an extremely shady business practice, and I cannot recommend this place because of it. A total deception

Surprisingly nice property, near Downtown.

We loved the hotel because the breakfast was a buffet with lots of options and the location is excellent right in the heart of many Dallas attractions. The staff at the hotel was friendly and very helpful to us. The room was huge and we really liked having a suite.

this property cx my booking w/o notice. was calling/on hold/yelled @ by supervisor nikki. no solutions. just left me & small kids on street new years eve

I was charged and did not check in i cancelled my reservation im out of 500 dollars.

Roaches in bathroom Phone had chocolate or poop on it Ceiling was supers dusty. Lobby smelled like a farty bathroom

The property is ideally located in the Dallas West End. Safe and secure parking at the West End Parking Center is available one block away (very close) for $6 per day. It is one block from the Aquarium, very close to the Perot Museum and Sixth Floor Museums and a reasonable walk to the museums in the arts district. Lots of good restaurants nearby with a coupon through the hotel for a free appetizer or dessert at some. Good security as well. Great find.

it was very well located, lots of dinning options on walk distance, staff very polite. The room phone was not working and the bathtub drain was partially blocked.

Hotel was VERY ok. For me, it was most definitely not worth the price. I wish a had paid a little bit more to stay somewhere nicer downtown. Front desk lady told me the door locks were ressetting at midnight so she hopes they will work. That’s not exactly what you want to hear when you have expensive things and are a young woman staying in downtown Dallas.

Perfect location. Right by the Aquarium and downtown. Many restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel needs to be remodeled!

The room was open and very spacious. Clean and had every amenity needed for a business or personal trip. I especially was impressed by the business center/breakfast lounge. It was also very spacious, had a variety of seating from leather sofas, bar tables and meal tables. I will definitely look to book my next trips at a SpringHill Suites.

DO NOT LET THE 4 STAR RATING FOOL YOU. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and this is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked this hotel because it was advertised as one of the best in the downtown Dallas area and from the pictures it looked nice. Upon arrival, we were greeted by arguing homeless people right outside the door and much commotion. The front door to the hotel can only be accessed by a room key so we had to stand outside for a moment. It’s locked because of the bad area that it’s located. We were given our room keys and headed up to our room. The room keys did not work and we had to go back down to the lobby and they had to completely switch our room. Our next room keys that were given to us, only one of them worked. Our room was extremely outdated and the unbelievably strong mold smell hit us the second we opened the door. The ceiling had many spots where it was brown and definitely had some sort of leakage from above. Our pillows and blankets had old makeup smeared on it and the headboard had a some sort of liquid on it that looked recent. The shower curtain on the inside of the shower was covered in black mold and almost all of the utilities in the bathroom were broken or damaged. At night it was hard to sleep because next door is a bar and you could hear screaming and police sirens all night. The food in the breakfast area was almost all expired. My yogurt that I grabbed was 21 days expired. My only positive was that the staff was nice.

old old property in very very bad area of town. DO NOT STAY HERE WITH YOUR KIDS. staff was super nice but that did not make up for the poor conditions. shower looked horrible, cracks, poor repainting, etc. no shower gel. asked for no feather since i am allegic. waited 10 minutes for them to check room and give it all clear - but of course the pillows were feather. AARGH. near the jail and bus stop so lots of homeless people around. one was sitting there pooping on the sidewalk. pool was close for maintanence but they never told us and that is one of the reasons we choose this location! front door locked in evening which i get bc of the area they are in, but room key system does not work so we had to wait for someone to come to front desk to unlock outside door. I would never stay there again.

Dylan, we are sorry to hear about the issues you had concerning parking. In line with policies across many downtown locations, parking does come at an additional charge, as detailed on our website and various booking platforms. We understand that this may cause inconvenience and we're always striving to improve our guest's experiences. If you have additional thoughts on how we could better communicate this, we'd appreciate your feedback. We hope we can encourage you to revisit us in the future and reclaim a positive perspective.
