Very nice property, clean and well kept. Staff was very helpful.... great location for Appalachian trail hiking.

The property was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had a nice breakfast and friendly conversation with Lauren Gaddis, the manager. She made me feel very welcome and is a great asset for this lodge!

This was the best way to end our Chicago to Florida road trip. We had a great view of the mountains from our awesome two-bed cabin. The staff was phenomenal in working with me on changing our reservation due to plans changing and helped carry luggage to our cabin.

The location is central for visiting many state parks in Georgia. Hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. Room is clean and very quiet.

Barefoot Hills is set in a peaceful mountain locale. Check-in/out was a breeze and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We found our room to be clean and the bed and pillows were very comfy. We did find it was a little warm in our room overnight because there was no thermostat in the room to make any adjustments to the temperature, however there is a ceiling fan which helped a bit.
