Breakfast as quite good with a variety of items to choose from and fresh juices. Location is pretty good, although walking up the hill from the Plaza de Armas takes your breath away. The property as a whole is charming. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were in the White Christ room, which had a few downsides. Wifi was spotty at best, the bathroom smelled quite bad (had to keep the door closed and windows open), it wasn't very private, and it was beside the entrance so you'd always hear the front doorbell. It was otherwise a decent room - clean, spacious, and a comfortable bed.
The hotel stands at the perfect spot to take in great views of Cusco. The city & this hotel are spectacular. The staff is very nice & willing to help you in every way. The hotel itself is an architectural beauty with tasteful pictures of Peruvian life throughout the hotel. You really get a feel for Cusco @ it's core. Hotel is close to great restaurants & all the city's sights. Cannot wait to go back.
No place to park your car and no information from the hotel to advise about a parking lot. It took me three hours to find the hotel, to park my car and to check in! Well decorated and cozy rooms. Very well located.
We stayed at the Tika Wasi Casa Boutique in July 2017. We had a great stay here and found the hotel to have good security with clean and lovely themed rooms. We stayed in a triple room with a beautiful deck to sit and relax on sunny afternoons and overlook the well maintained gardens. The staff were always polite, friendly and very helpful. The hotel was a nice 15 minute stroll to the main square with many restaurants and shopping also within easy walking distance down the historic street cobblestone streets. We highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Cusco.
We stayed for various periods over 1 month. All of the rooms that we stayed in were comfortable and satisfactory for our needs. The staff were great in organising our stays without any hitches, and looking after gear that was not required on our travels. The hotel is compact, clean comfortable and in a great location. Walking up the hill to the hotel is a great way to assist getting used to Cusco`s altitude.
This hotel is a nice surprise. Unassuming on the street but a charming, and varied interior. Our room had an amazing view of all of Cusco and was very clean and modern. The staff was kind, helpful and knowledgeable and the breakfast was good. The road up in the San Blas neighborhood is steep so if you're just arriving in Cusco from sea level, you will be wind d the first day or so but the area is so charming and alive you wouldn't want to be elsewhere.
Great facility. Truly a boutique hotel. Breakfast was wonderful. the views were great, from our rooms to the common areas. They had two sitting areas inside with fireplaces. Enjoyed a morning around hte fireplace. Our girls room was very nice. Our room, #22, i would not recommend. The mattress needs to be replaced immediately. It was cold during our stay and the small wall heater did not seem to help much. But plenty of covers!
My friends and i stayed in a triple-sharing room which was cozy and spacious, even with 3 of us in it. The room was adequately and sincerely furnished, even including a side table for each of the bed. It also had a heater, which was much appreciated in the cold Cuzco weather. The bathroom also included a hair dryer, which is not a common amenity. Fruits served during breakfast vary enough to make for a filling and satisfying meal at the start of each day. The staff are friendly and speak good English. It's also a good surprise that they offer money exchange at competitive rates. Lastly, they were generous enough to keep our suitcases during the 1 night that we spent in Aguas Calientes.
Nice place, excellent view of the city and the accommodations and food was excellent, very kind service. From here you have the San Blas square in a couple of blocks, also the Cathedral and most attractions from the downtown are very near you have just to walk less than 10 minutes.
This hotel reminded me of the Mediterranean. It was charmingly decorated and had a bright breakfast area. But the most memorable thing about the hotel was the view from our hotel room. The hotel has many different levels so be prepared if you have heavy luggage. We were on the second level (room 19) and as we walked it we could see all of Cusco and the hillside. At night you had the lights of the city. The hotel is in the San Blas area which is full of interesting little restaurants and shops. There is only wifi in the common areas, but there are many inviting common areas where you can relax and use your tablet.
