The hotel was nice enough clean and a great size. They put fresh bottles of water in the room which was a great touch. The problem for us was that we had a really early flight and they had booked the floor below our room we woke up to really loud music at 11:30 and did not get back to sleep. We left the Hotel at 1:30 A.M. for our flight. The hotel was great at arranging transportation for us. I did go out and complain about the music and they were willing to move our room however, our three children were sleeping (by some wonderful miracle) through the party happening below. The music and DJ were so loud that the room was vibrating. I would have also liked the out side light to be blocked from the window coming directly down on the master suite. I would stay at this hotel again but, only if I knew with 100% certainty they would not be booking the party room.
As is common with most hotels, its difficult to find comfortable and affordable lodging for a normal size family (two adults + 3 kids), but the room we managed to get here was really nice! Two floors, with a total of 3 twin beds and 1 double bed. Also, a small living area and kitchen (refridgerator + sink + long counter). We had to pay a little extra per night for this room because we were 5 people, and the booking max is 4. That was a little annoying since the room slept 5 people comfortably. The location wasn't bad. You have to walk out of the long alley to get out to the nearest avenue where taxis will pass, and even from there you usually need to walk another block or two to get a cab going the right direction. There are some decent restaurants on the same alley and within a block or two. We would stay here again, especially when traveling with a large family... but only if we could get that same large room!
Nothing special. A simple place to spend a night or two. Nice staff, clean room, everything is very basic. I was a bit cold since there is not heater system. Quilts were available.
enjoyed especially during the festival of chorpus christie in june
Came here for 3 days before going to machu picchu. We went in late August 2014. The place is pretty simple and not much amenities. They provide free water and simple breakfast. We got two rooms. The guys room had 3 doubles and 1 single bed. The girls room was more of a duplex but it was pretty cold for them. Overall a good experience and good for the money. I recommend it.
This hotel is a stopover on your way to Machu Picchu. Experience the ancient life in the City of Cusco, relax a day or two and then take the 3 hour rail ride to Machu Picchu.
Initially I did not expect much from such a basic/cheap hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised: great location, very clean and comfortable. The most important was the outstanding attitude of the hotel staff - they anticipated and tried to fulfill my every wishes from earlier breakfast to accommodate my 6am train to calling reliable taxis to printing my boarding passes. It's like to be in a parents home!
The overall experience was good, however, there was a noise issue with a late night bar near by.
The staff was great and it was clean. Good choice for the price if you aren't going to be in your room much.
Confortable and clean. Easy access to the Plaza Mayor and excellent staff.
If you want a place to rest your head in Cusco for a few days, Los Aticos is a nice place to do it. Very well located near Plaza de Armas and most of the restaurants. If you want to go out in the night it is a good place to stay.
Nice for a bed and breakfast. If you want more privacy the sonesta prolly a better bet. Friendly staff.
Pros - Inexpensive Cons - Rooms were not very clean, smelled musty - Staff spoke little to no English (even front desk) - Location is far from city center
The staff was very nice and eager to help. A reasonable value and fairly well located with a short walk to the town center.
Great value for the hotel...I would definitely recommend it. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they had a very good breakfast that was included, and even laundry service. They pick you up from the airport and the location was quite convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable...I would stay here again!
This hotel was a great value for my family of 5. The quintuple rate paid was for a set of 3 rooms which could cleep upto 7. For the last night in Cusco, with earlier flight the following day, we didnt try the breakfast but the complimentary car ride was great. The B&B is located about 50 meters in an alley off the addrus about half an hour to locate it. I also had to somewhat convince the front desk that the shuttle is included in the internet rate before he arranged for ride - otherwise the staff was good, the bathrooms clean, free & fast Internet and about 3 blocks from Plaza.
The help was super, Edgar and William would terrific. My room was cleaned every day and the coffee was always hot and ready. The staff always took time to discuss the day with you and offer their advise. Computer always available and plenty of good reading material. Great location to Plaza de Armas, banks, stores, and down town. Had a great time.
