The hotel has a very nice central atrium style dining area. The decor is very pleasant with various local artists represented. The staff is helpful, courteous, and available. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Amazing interior, perfect location, impeccable service (extremely polite and helpful staff) and great food in the restaurant. Also great for organising excursions etc. I will definitely return next time in Cusco.
I had a great stay at the Andean Wings. The hotel was authentic with extremely accommodating staff, which made a world of difference after a long day of hiking Machu Picchu! Both the location and price were right as well. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel during your visit to Cusco.
The hotel itself is very nice and felt very relaxing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent - walking distance to pretty much everything right in the center of Cusco while still quiet! My fiance and I actually chose this hotel based on the proximity to the agency we were doing the Lares Trek with, and are so happy we did. It was perfect for before and after a long hike as we were able to relax in the hotel, as well as get around Cusco easily with limited time. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in total but at two different points in my trip. In the first room there was no hot water even after letting the shower run for several minutes. The second room where I stayed for one night was dirty - I am not sure if its a room that is regularly reserved for guests because it was quite dusty. The food in the restaurant was not very good and the service was very slow. The service at the front desk was mixed. With tons of other hotels in the city -I would not recommend this hotel.
Absolutely loved this hotel. We werr backpacking and had just came back from hiking the Inca trail, probably not the clientele they're used to, but we wanted to treat ourselves on our last night in Cuzco. We were able to check in early and stay late and still managed to get breakfast at 955 (they stop serving at 10). David and the concierge woman were very nice and spoke great English. They held our bags while we explored the city and got a cab for us to the airport. Next time we go to Cuzco we will definitely stay there, wish we could have stayed longer! Beds super comfortable, nice hot showers, complementary lotion and conditioner, thermostat in room and even filtered water.
The room was clean and large with the only downside being a rather small bathroom. The staff was attentive and helpful. The restaurant onsite offers great choices for dinner and the breakfast is fantastic. Great location for walking to the main plaza. Only complaint was the overhead room which can be heard if anyone is walking or talking as was the case with our stay (all through the night). Bring ear plugs as a backup.
My friend recommended this hotel in Cusco and I'm so glad that she did. It's a little tucked away gem in the heart of Cusco-- a very short walk to Plaza del Armas. They have a delightful bar/courtyard area where they offer a free pisco sour and yummy breakfast. The room was well appointed and comfortable. They also offer free cocoa tea and oxygen, which you'll be thankful for if it's your first day in Cusco.
Stayed only one night , the staff very friendly and helpful , our twin room was quite small and would have been an issue if we had several days there but for one night pre flight out it was fine , well located , they made us an early morning packed meal prior to leaving for the airport at 4 am , I would definitely recommend this hotel but make sure you know your bedroom size , 2 minutes walk to Plaza de Armas
We stayed here before our 4 day trek to Machu Picchu for 3 nights, the food is great, breakfast is included and is delicious. They have tea available at every time of the day including coca tea which is really good for altitude sickens. Free pisco sour upon your arrival and happy hour too. The bartender mixed the best drinks I had in all Cusco. We had another hotel booked for after the inca trail but we were so happy here that decided to cancel the other hotel and book again with Andean Wings. Location is great, close to Plaza de Armas but it's not loud. The décor of the hotel is really cozy and the staff was really good.
