Great room, pool with all the extras. Will be going back. The very best. Perfect service, room service was great. Totally a five star place. Can not wait to go back. We stayed at a Belmond before, they are a first class organization
From the first step in the property, I felt wowed by the service, the architecture, the suite, the facilities. The hotel has an identity and spirit that impress at every minute. The welcome fruit plate was outstanding, as every little detail the hotel prepares for its guests.
During our recent tour of Peru we had the opportunity to stay at the Palacio Nazarenas. It is a hotel of exquisite accommodations and outstanding service. It’s location near the Plaza de Armas is perfect and the staff goes the extra mile for your satisfaction on every interaction. Just amazing.
We stayed at the Beautiful Belmond in Cusco before our Inca trail Hike! The service was outstanding! Being greeted by Victor at the front desk to Namly at breakfast our every need was attended to with perfection!
Renovated from a convent, the hotel is organized across three courtyards; you get lost in the arched loggia and between the small passages, happily so, since the architecture and gardens are just gorgeous. The service and amenities were impeccable with touches like overnight shoe cleaning service, a bottle of local spirits to taste was complimentary in every room, and fresh fruit and chocolates every day. Due to the historic building, each room is unique and ours featured super high ceilings which made it all the more luxurious. Breakfast is also top notch, with fresh baked goods and local produce, as well as hot items cooked to order and daily specials, so that you don't ever get bored of the same thing!
My wife and I have a wanderlust that is quite unquenchable and thus we stay at a lot of hotels. We like to splurge on those and I can quite easily attest that the Palacio Nazarenas is the best property we have stayed at in the last 10 years. Location is wonderful, with it being one block from the Plaza and from San Blas but Cuzco, or at least the tourist section, is small so, while this is a positive, it is minor. However, everything else is a superlative. The building and grounds are splendid, serene, clean, beautifully maintained. The rooms are larger than most studios in San Francisco (where we live), the bed was the most comfortable we have slept in and we loved the alpaca hot water bottles used to warm the sheets at night. We ate at the restaurant, visited the bar, used the pool and the spa and every person we interacted with, employees that is, could not have been nicer, more attentive and helpful. I am assuming that the goal is to make you feel like you are the most important guest in the hotel and that is absolutely achieved. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and am looking forward to staying at another Belmond property as soon as is humanly possible. Thank you to everyone at the Palacio Nazarenas for having made our stay in Cuzco so wonderful.
This incredible hotel is situated in a former nunnery, adjacent to another Belmond property in a former monastery. The rooms are well appointed, the hot water bottle in the bed each evening was a wonderful touch during the winter months, breakfast included many choices both available to order and via buffet, and the pool area was lovely. The location was central to many sights in the area (cathedral, shops, restaurants, museo de chocolate). The staff is kind, friendly, and ready to serve.
An absolutely magnificently resorted hotel in the heart of Cusco . Outstanding service and very attentive and helpful staff. We very much enjoyed out stay, the food and the ambience of the hotel and the city.
An old convent converted into an amazing hotel. If you’re looking for a place to stay where the hotel itself is a travel experience, this is the place. The landscape is unique and almost maze-like, leading to a new discovery at every turn.
Perfect historical property in the middle of the old city - very calm - service top and very friendly - very large room and bathroom - breakfast just excellent - Very well maintain and clean - and fabulous facilities with the spa and the swimming pool
