Great experience! Wonderful location! Amazing beach, pool, food and staff! Would stay again!

The Renaissance Hotel was really the highlight of the vacation. Wonderful property, luxurious with a very helpfull and superior staff that made you feel at home. The hotel was convinently located in the city with a great beach pool that made you feel like you were at a remote resort. We truly did not want to leave. A stay here is highly rechomended when you come to the island.

Great experience all around. Free Starbucks under all-inclusive. Good buffets but got same-old-same-old in about 2-3 days. Great location, close to shopping, entertainments, local markets. Cruse ships parked close but not as bad as others had mentioned. Very friendly staffs.

We had an awesome family trip. The hotel is in the center within walking distance to everything and also near the airport. The staff are friendly and very accommodating.

I had seen this hotel's review 3 years ago when I first decided I wanted to go to Curacao. It appealed to me because of the location and the salt water infinity pool and beach, in particular. I was not disappointed at all! Jennifer at the front desk welcomed me warmly and took the time to explain about amenities of the hotel, gave me brochures and maps, and offered to answer any questions. All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, offering bottles of water (nice to have when you are walking around), though the tap water there is tasty and safe to drink. When I couldn't find the Curacao Museum on the map, Deidre drew a map showing 2 possible routes for me and told me advantages and disadvantages of both routes. I had no problem finding the museum and felt safe going there on my own. Sometimes, it is hard to know where and when it's safe for a single woman to walk alone. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water for showers at any time of day. There was an adjustable thermostat for the air conditioning that gave the temperature in *F and *C. It was set at a very comfortable temperature, so I just left it there. WiFi worked without any problem. Also had a safe and refrigerator in the room. I enjoyed the beach (nice and sandy, though artificial) and the salt water infinity pool which was clean and a comfortable temperature (also man-made). I also had to try the fresh water pool which was nice, too. There were plenty of lounge chairs, tables, and towels available, though this was not their busiest season. Nice, not overwhelming, music. Location in the Otrobanda was within easy walking distance of shops on both sides of the bay and 3 museums. I would go out for a couple of hours, sightseeing and taking photos, then go back to the hotel for a bit before heading out again. There are computers located on the 2nd floor where you can print out your boarding passes at not charge. A nice touch. It was a wonderful vacation, everything I had dreamed about, and the Renaissance Curacao Resort & Casino (I didn't go to the casino, though they issued me a $5 credit when I checked in) was all I had hoped for and more!

The location of the hotel was excellent for walking to nearby restaurants. The pool area is very nice. The only disappointment was the fitness center.

Were pleased with location close to center of all action. Appreciate such a fun experience the location afforded us

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location for wandering around Willemstad. Great restaurants close by. The pool was fantastic, with a wonderful view of the sea. Heads up: I had reserved an "interior" room (#347) it had NO outside windows. The room was comfortable and clean. The rooms window looked into a meeting space called the Atrium. It was not much of an issue for me because I spent most of my time outside. Just a caution for anyone booking a room here.

Stayed at the hotel for only one night on my way out of Curacao. Loved it. New, clean and comfortable rooms. Only wish the stores would be open on Sunday for shopping.

Even with a slight mixup at checking, we got a beautiful room overlooking the water and pools. Stunning! Loved how close and convenient everything is from the fort to the food to the Queen Anne bridge and town. Can't wait to go back

Location of the hotel is good ..... close to shopping at Riffort or across the Queen Emma Bridge to Punda. The island has some of the spectacular beaches on the west side.

We had a perfect week at The Renaissance. It's located right in the heart of Willemstad, you can walk to the city center on the floating bridge. There is a Navigator desk that tells you what tours you can go on. Staff is supremely friendly!! Food is great as well as the casino and bars. Two starbucks on premises! simply fantastic!

The hotel even exceeded our expectations. The staff was super-friendly, courteous and professional. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The Infinity Pool and beach were beautiful and very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I came back yesterday from 8 days at the Renaissance Curacao Resort. We had a wonderful time. The resort is very well kept the rooms and public areas are very clean. We enjoyed the floating beach, the water was like bath water. The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. I would say our only complaint was that the temperature in the lobby, casino and hallways was very cold, they could back off of the air conditioning. It was especially uncomfortable coming from the outside where the temps were in the high 80's. The location of the resort was ideal. It is in walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. I definitely would recommend this resort. And if we go back to Curacao we would stay here again.

Good place. Perfectly located for my purposes. Short walk to beach which I didn't use. Helpful courteous staff

We were looking for someplace downtown since we were only going to be in there for two nights. Excellent location... provided great access to shops, restaurants, some sightseeing and the downtown area.

I was looking for a good location to celebrate a birthday, and ended up finding paradise! The Renaissance in Curacao is a beautiful hotel, great location on the water (it actually an old fort), tons of shops, and a one-stop destination for fun & relaxation. The casino was nice, even had table games like poker & blackjack. If taking a cab from the airport to the hotel, it'll run you about $35. Everything can be paid in USD, no need to change your currency. The weather on the island is about 87 degrees year round with a perfect breeze, not too hot. Not one drop of rain either. Two infinity pools, one salt water and one fresh water. Excellent! The food is outstanding, drinks were even better. I highly recommend taking the Jeep Safari Beach tour, great way to see the whole island. My tour guide was great. Had an Oceanview King room with balcony, and the view was worth every penny. Woke up everyday to the sound of the ocean, so it can't get better than that. The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and multi-lingual (everyone spoke at least 4 languages). I will be going back!! Perfect!!

It was a great place in a great location near the town, restaurants and shopping. We had to take taxis to the beaches but it had a great infinity beach and pool right at the hotel that was beautiful!

Bedroom was clean and bed is relaxing, soft, very nice sleeping.

Nice hotel, probably the nicest in downtown Willemstad. Right near the RivFort complex so you can easily walk to restaurants, nightlife, bars. Cruise ships dock nearby. Great access to roads if you rent a car. Would stay there again.
