Toilet leaked, shower plumbing pulled out of wall..bathroom tile was a wreck!

I was trapped in a snowstorm on my way to work and I had no choice but to stay overnight at a hotel. I had the option of a motel across the street and the courtyard, so my choice was a given. I booked through Orbitz in the parking lot and walked through the entrance to check in. Both of the young ladies at the desk were friendly and check-in was a breeze. The hotel has three floors and I was on the first floor in room 111. Location: The hotel is easy to find, located right off 91. It is in a lot with a chili's right next door, fast food places right across the street, Mobil across the street and a 24 hour Walmart two minutes down the street. It was extremely convenient to get anywhere. Hotel lobby/first impression: As you walk into the hotel, there is a sitting area with a fireplace. It was very welcoming and cozy. As you make your way to the left, there are two public computers and a printer that you're welcome to use. There is also The Bistro, which is the hotel's restaurant. It isn't super fancy, but more so a place where you could grab something to go or sit and eat. They serve breakfast, lunch, beer and wine, oh and did I mention, Starbucks? :) Mini shop: Adjacent to the check-in desk is a mini shop with essentials and snacks. I was unprepared for my night stay and the snow was so bad that I couldn't get to Walmart. I was able to buy contact lens solution, deodorant, and a toothbrush. There are snacks, a microwave available to warm up food, and wine/beer. The hotel ma

I have a very nice experience here, the hotel was very clean, smelled clean, accommodations and bed were nice. We had a double jacuzzi tub and it was awesome, nice little surprise. Would definitively recommend.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Would like to have had no smoking in courtyard area!

Please know when you book this hotel that there is a high likelihood if there is any amount of high capacity here you will have NO HOT WATER. It came as no surprise at all to the front desk staff when I called to let them know that we didn't have any for showers, almost as if they were expecting our call. They have done the upgrades to the lobby, etc. But the infrastructure is not up to what is needed to support the guest rooms.

The location was just great, about 10 minutes from relatives in Cromwell. The rooms are very comfortable with plenty of hot water and a great shower head. Pillows were swell. The breakfast food choices, that must be paid for, we're not inspiring so we went to the diner across the road for breakfast.

All of the personnel @ the Hotel were great. The food from the Restaurant was very good also. I will defiantly return.

Beautiful room. Great staff. Pool room was cold and no jacuzzi. But otherwise very nice overall.

Upon registering we were told that since it was a butsy weekend that we were being put in the quiet floor. And so it was. Also the desk clerk gave us an free upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi tub. Ah, it was lovely and relaxing after a busy day at a family reunion.

Quiet, clean, convenient. We will definitely stay here again when visiting central CT.

The room with two queen beds was clean and comfortable. My two usual concerns, the bathroom and the carpet, were spotless. The hotel was convenient to shopping and grocery stores, with several restaurants within walking distance. There was a renovation project going on so we didn't see the lobby and went to a temporary check in counter, but overall, it was a good hotel for the money we paid.

As we were making our travel plans, we saw that the Courtyard was available. The Courtyard is always comfortable and affordable.

Free wifi, and even better, free printing from your room to the printer in the "business center". Great for printing your boarding pass before leaving the hotel. Sound isolation between the rooms could be better and for as unbusy as the hotel was, they could have put an empty room between parties and then people wouldn't complain about the lack of sound isolation on web sites. Just saying.
