I stayed in the hotel for one night and got top class service. The room is excellent and the breakfast was very good. The staff was very kind and helpful. The parking was secured and very close. Highly recommended
A great hotel, with a fantastic location near the train station and downtown activities. Very quiet and relaxing. Fabulous shower. We stayed for 2 nights and slept wonderfully in a Prestige Double room. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for two nights as we made our way through Burgundy. The hotel is nice and clean but not very charming. The room was small but average sized for the region. Breakfast was OK but don't take it, there are nice coffee shops in the town. We liked that the hotel offered parking (at a cost) but it is located in another building that although it is very close to the hotel, if you return at night you will find that the entrance to building (looks like a small tunnel) has homeless people sleeping there. If I would have been alone leaving the building after parking, I would have felt very unsafe.
The hotel has been renovated recently is simply beautiful. It is very comfortable and spacious. This was one of my favorite hotels in the last 2 week journey. I would suggest to the hotel management that they put more than one person at checkout during the busy checkout time. This hotel is very convenient to the train station.
Stop off weekend for 2 on way from south of France. Easy to find with satnav and has parking. Walking distance from all sights. Tram outside if you want to travel further. Loads of b/fast places & restaurants. Will use again.
Great to be able to walk here from the railway station on arrival and location proved to be very central & close to the beautiful old city. Friendly reception staff, modern décor with lovely pool area, and most importantly, a very comfortable and clean room, with easy to use and up to date bathroom. Would definitely recommend.
We were looking for somewhere to stay between Epernay and Chamonix, and decided on Dijon as we had never visited before. Other than the very small parking spaces in the garage adjacent to the hotel we have no complaints about our stay. Front desk staff was pleasant when we checked in, and offered two complimentary drinks at the bar. The room itself was a little small but offered everything we needed - quiet, air conditioned and a rain shower (not the dreaded hand shower). Being close to the train station we were somewhat concerned about noise, but the double-paned windows kept out all the noise. Everything in the room was relatively new and in good working condition. As we were only there for one night did not take advantage of the pool and spa, took a quick walk through and they looked very nice. The property does offer parking for a fee, it is in a building about 50 feet from the hotel so you will have to haul your luggage a bit upon check-out. The spaces were the smallest of any we encountered on the trip, took a good 15 minutes to back into a tiny stall. It was secure, and accessible by elevator. We loved the location, just a couple blocks away from old town and several good restaurants and bars. There was a lot of shopping too, but as we arrived on a Saturday night and left Sunday afternoon pretty much everything but the souvenier shops were closed. We were able to acquire several flavors of mustard, which was a key goal of the visit. The town itself was busy but not overcrowded, as some others felt during the trip. Overall we enjoyed Dijon and the hotel, and hope to plan a longer stay in the future.
A modern comfortable hotel. We received a friendly and efficient welcome and were given a map of Dijon and all the main places of interest were pointed out to us. We had a bit of difficulty getting around the various one-way streets so we ended up by using the station carpark - gathered later that the hotel has access to another site. Good wi-fi (useful for teenage son!), breakfast was good. We didn't use the pool.
Stayed here for one night on our way to the South of France. The internet photos made the place and room look like it was going to be amazing, so we didnt mind paying the price per night. Although it was very clean, the room was tiny with decor no better than a travel lodge, nothing like we expected. The parking is down the road from the hotel in an underground carpark with codes for the barrier, the lift and the car park doors, I think if you were a woman on your own you may find this a bit scary at night. We won't 're visit this hotel.
Very convenient location between the railway station and the historic quarter. Clean and comfortable hotel public areas and rooms. We had problem with smell in first room but were moved fairly promptly. Breakfast is superior and worth the money (unusual in France). Internet fast and reliable. Pool was a real plus. For the price you could not do better than this hotel.
