We loved this hotel! Loads of great things to say about it and only one bad. - excellent location, very close to the old town and easy and quick to get to/from the train station -friendly helpful staff - great bar tender - comfortable beds, nice room (we had a garden view) -awesome pool, sauna, spa Just the one negative thing though was the lack of fridge in the room. I'd happily recommend this place though :)
Great price. Large room with powerful shower and coffee machine + nice view over the garden and swimming pool. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast a little basic, but good. Great location very close to the beautiful old town.
Plus: Exploring Burgundy with a group of guests, we used the hotel as our base for a week. Clean rooms, contemporary designed and equipped, comfortable beds and well-designed bathrooms provided the solid base for our rest after long days. A friendly hotel crew and management added to the comfort. The breakfast buffet offered enough choices to feel satisfied while starting the day. The hotel is ideally located near the train station and a pedestrian area, filled with beautiful old houses, nice shops and plenty options to eat and drink. Minus: Parking in the Hotel garage can turn into a problem, we opted for the nearby parking structure of the main station instead. The safe in the room does not fit a laptop. Nevertheless - We would definitely return to this hotel.
We stayed just one night from our way from Marseillan to home (Germany). Nice comfort and the city center was accessible by foot. We used the indoor pool and the sauna after a long 6h drive which help to relax.
in a street full of kebab shops. Parking available at the back street, but had to report to hotel reception first to find out. Signing and info on the website about the parking could have been better. The hotel looks quite nice. The room was okay, clean but small. We slept well. We had to pay 15 euro for the parking. Short half hour walk to the centre and restaurant area. Wouldn't want to come back alone as a woman in the evening. Next time will try to either stay more central or outside Dijon with easier parking.
Location is ideal - easy walk from train station with local metro in front and buses a block down. Nice walk to center of town, market, and museums. I was worried it might be loud given its proximity to the trains, but it was very quiet. The staff were fantastic, rooms were modern and very nice. The only thing lacking was a refrigerator. Otherwise, quite nice.
We have stayed in several hotels in France, and this was our best experience out of all of them. For a very reasonable tariff we were luckily upgraded to a ground floor room facing on to the pleasant courtyard with a couple of magnificent trees. The room was immaculate, the bedding and towels clean and new and the fittings in excellent condition. The rooms are quite small with a semi-ensuite bathroom so I was grateful for the separate toilet. There's a lovely pool, hot tub and steam room available. Breakfast at E15 is a bargain as there's a huge choice of items to eat from the extensive buffet. This is the only meal served at the hotel but there are several good restaurants very close by. There's a small but very comfortable bar if you'd like to relax before going out to dinner. The hotel is a very short walk from the station and an equally short walk to the Darcy Gardens and Port de Guillaume, the start of the shopping and historical district. Every member of staff we met was friendly and welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. I am very happy to recommend both this hotel and the beautiful city of Dijon if you're thinking of holidaying in the area.
This is a very friendly hotel. The staff and manager are great in helping me to find its secret parking lot and medication for my summer allergies. Some staff speak English well. The room is nice with good views on the street. Its Garden in the back is pleasant. I wish I was there in better health to enjoy more of its facilities and food. I recommend all, especially a new Dijon comer to stay this establishment for good value for money with friendly staff
What an immaculate hotel this was, and our room equally so. The only thing we found slightly baffling was having to leave the loo and go around to the bathroom at the other side of the bedroom to wash our hands, which did become a little tedious, but hey, we are foreigners! Otherwise a short but perfect stay and the staff were fantastic, including the Manager.
Very well situated between the railway station and the historic part of the town; public transportation very close to the hotel. Very friendly staff providing all desired services. Good breakfast buffet.
