What an awful place to stay, broken showers, no wifi, stove does not workm dirty carpets, dirty tiles, sinks and bath do not drain, overall the worst place ever that I have stayed, management have no interest in fixing anything, leaves the front staff to cope with all the irate customers, bookings lost with me and several other customers, no wifi although advertised, paying for parking, they try to get lots of money for a sub standard hotel.
Ok where do I start.... firstly do not believe any of the pictures photoshop is a wonderful thing We were meant yes meant to be staying here a few days back but we ended up staying at a different hotel the kyriad due to the condition there Firstly small issue the reception is never open you have to get a code to get your key but sadly you don't get a txt and the key was not there anyway When the reception person turned up there was 9 other families waiting all had no txt, so anyway we checked in the apart complex looked shabby but we had hope. But no on walking to the room we passed lovely drunk builders sat outside smoking and flicking their cigarettes everywhere but we still thought there's hope surely our room was not going to be near there's or used by people basically traveling there to work. So we open the door and we're greeted. Y the smell or sweat, smoke and urine and it gets worse stains covered the whole floor the futon had a blanket on it why? Oh because it was ripped stained and smelt as if a homeless person lives there the bedroom had massive holes in the walls doors missing mould all over the walls the kitchen and bathroom made us feel ill So we complained and the manager said it was fine so I replied hell no come see now switch us to a tidy room or refund us so he sent the cleaner to room 904 she came back and said oui mess so he said I'll find a better room someone had been living in that room so I said surely you need to refit it the place is a mess. Next we were offered a better room in his opinion but NOOOOOO yet again the same the complex is a dirty joke and no way worth €70 per night So we said refund now we're out of here he said ok I will mail head office I also called them (they were just rude said no) so fingers crossed Just stay away don't be fooled there's better cheaper hotels in that town Oh and apart city be ashamed this place is a joke
We have stayed in this hotel on several occasions, as a stop-off point when driving from the UK to southern Europe. We are a large family with four children and two dogs, and it is convenient to stay in an "apartment" that is really more like a small house, with an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room on the ground floor, two bedrooms, a bathroom and toilet upstairs, and so outside space to walk the dogs that can be accessed directly from the apartment via patio doors. However, on this occasion, in mid-June 2017, our room (room 605) was so awful I can only think it must have been a mistake. Just a few of the problems that we had: 1. The sofa bed had a leg missing, and flipped over when anyone sat on it. We had to fix this by wedging a waste paper basket under the corner of the bed. 2. One of the curtains was missing from the patio doors, which meant we could not close the curtains. Not great for a room we were using as a bedroom with a direct view into our bedroom from the car park. 3. There was no shower curtain on the bath, which meant we had to shower in the back corner of the bath to avoid flooding the room. 4. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was missing. Not empty. Missing. The holder was still there, but the dispenser itself had been removed. As I have stayed at this hotel several times, I had not brought our own shower gel as I knew it was provided. Very inconvenient. 5. The shower itself was also broken and had to be propped up in order to be used. 6. One of the bedrooms shutters did not come all the way down, which meant my daughters' room was flooded with light at about 5am. 7. The boiler or water tank was in an upstairs room, and having run hot water to wash up, boiler/tank then began making a loud banging noise, which continued for about seven hours. If we had been able to sleep on the broken bed with no curtain, that would have kept us up. 8. To cap it all, the free internet wasn't working. Some evenings just can't get any worse. Having met the staff in the hotel, who are generally lovely, I can only imagine a mistake had been made and we were put in a room that should have been closed for maintenance. There is no way that any hotel could have thought that our room was acceptable. We stayed in the room because we arrived late and most of the problems were not apparent until bedtime when reception was closed. We were leaving at 6am the next day, so we just made the best of it. However, the hotel is not cheap and I will seriously have to consider whether we stay at this hotel again, even though it is very convenient. Very disappointing.
It was not a nice experience. My family travelled to France for a holiday and chose Dijon as a resting point on the way to Paris. Apart'City Dijon Ahuy was not a pleasant stay. There was no toilet paper, no shower curtain and no internet, even though it offered free internet. It is complicated to logon to the internet, and no instructions are provided. When we went to the office for help they gave us a wifi router that we had to connect ourselves and still it did't work. The apartment felt dirty and the walls seemed old and dirty like nobody was really cleaning. The hallways were also very dirty and the hallway tile floors were disgusting. Outside of our room was a enormous water heater tank that looked like it was broken. It was just laying down on the floor outside of our room. The bathrooms seemed like they were just wiped with a towel, but seemed dirty.
Stayed here as a checkpoint for 2 nights on the way to Lyon during the European championships. The room was perfect for 5 as there were 3 single beds (2 upstairs in a twin room and 1 downstairs) as well as a double bedroom upstairs and a double bed downstairs. The bathroom was also ideal, the shower was easy to use and ran at a nice temperature. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment. The complex is located around 10 minutes walk from the tram stop. This was perfect to get into the city centre and it was a great night out with loads of pubs and clubs and places to eat. There is also on site laundry facilities for a small cost which was very helpful and the locals who seemingly live on the complex were very friendly and even had a game of football with us.
Stopped twice: once on the way down to Provence & once on the way back. Booking was easy & although reception closed before we arrived, access codes were emailed & we were able to get in to our room. Well set up with kitchenette, made up Beds & bathroom with soap & towels. On the way back room lacked air conditioning & soap, & smelled of cigarettes. It's transit accommodation used by travellers & trades. Good enough. Close to main roads and close to a big Géant supermarket for provisions.
Travelling as a family of 4 with young kids this is a clean, safe small suite budget hotel. Great for a stop over on the way to where you are going. Local supermarket and Macdonalds for ease of cooking. Breakfast is continental and basic, but adequate. You have to pay extra for parking.
Stayed last year and was perfect, this time however we stayed twice on way to South Coast and on way back, the rooms were not clean, lacking in equipment and dirty bedding. Not impressed. Would not recommend again after the poor quality and cleanliness this time round. Spent 20 minutes on phone to get the doors codes in the end another couple helped us get our keys, not ideal after a 6 hour drive with kids!
Filthy and disgusting, stained carpet, smelt like a urinal, tatty and just horrible. It was rough and did not look anything like the professional photos! There were questionable white stains on the black sofa bed and I simply could not wait to leave.
This was an appalling site of decrepit buildings with just the overall feeling of run down dirty falling apart about it ..great if you like ants and cock roaches though Nearby restaurant was good though with huge portions and great steak
