Great Hotel in the Northern of Portugal. Not far from Porto and very close to Vigo, Spain. Hotel very modern style, place to relax and great service. Rooms good, but there is just difficult to plug your phones or laptops for charging. Important to review this point. It could be fixed by having a multiple socket behind the main table.
Very nice hotel, modern, clean, calm environment. baby friendly, with 3 pools, an indoor one and the other two outside (one for grownup and another for kids. Three things to point: the air conditioning is centrally managed, it only has a breakfast restaurant and a bar near the swimming pool, therefore no place for dining, but you'll have great restaurants in a 6km radious, and for last, the car parking doesn't have enough places for a packed hotel. Nevertheless it is a very nice refuge, that will allow you to gain back lost energy. Greets
A typical hotel where 2 nights are insufficient to enjoy pleantfully everything. Nice exterior with pool and direct acess to a bar. Regarding this, the prices are too much expensive. The balconies from the 3rd floor rooms are amazing
Nice showers, nice room. Ask for a room in the exterior pool level, facing the pool. The rooms are distant enough from the pool so you still have privacy in the room and you can just walk out in ti the pool from your room. Tennis court. Spa and interior pool facilities. Lots of massages and treatments to choose from, from around 60 euros up. Nice decor. Great use of warm wood and white marble. In early June it was sunny and nice enough to swimm in the outside pool and during the afternoon pretty much for yourself as other gruesome hit the road to visit around. 8 km to Vila nova de Cerveira and close to many other attractions. Recommended day trips (although not exactly next door) : Santiago Compostela and take one day to hit the Islas Cies in Spain . The islands are a natural park with beautiful blue water beaches. Get On an early boat and come late afternoon. Caminha and Moledo or just stay the entire day between restaurant and coffee in a esplanade in quiet cerveira. As with everyplace else , high season can be s bit crowded. Love art ? Cerveira has a Bienal Art show not to miss. Ps: the hotel serves good breakfast but has no restaurant, only a wine bar. Just next to the hotel there is a restaurant with good Portuguese food although not as welcoming in terms of decor like the hotel itself.
Our stay at this hotel was one of the highlights of a family trip through northern Portugal. We stayed in a nice and well equipped suite, perfect for a couple with two children. The whole hotel is very beautiful, with interesting garden areas and a small SPA which makes the stay very enjoyable. I appreciate the friendliness of all the staff and the special attention to the children. At breakfast a lady brought us a small paper bag saying we could take whatever we wanted for the children to eat in the middle of the morning. It was a gesture that pleased us a lot and we want to highlight.
Had a nice room with direct access to the outside pool. The hotel is very pretty and clean. Shame about the pool bar being closed, but the prices are high (4 star hotel price) . The room doesn't have very good isolation, could her some noises from the neighbors. The VscoElastic bed was strange and not to my liking. Good breakfast, friendly staff. The Spa is beautifull and has everything, jacuzzi bed, sauna, Hamman, special showers , all these are free for guests.
I had the chance to spend a lovely weekend at Hotel Minho and I had a blast. The rooms are tidy and spacious with a great view over the swimming pool. The pool area is great to relax while having a drink in the bar. In the end of the evening we had the chance to do a relaxing couple massage in the Spa and that was definitely the highlight of our stay. The staff was super kind and explained all the process and the massage itself was really relaxing. Totally recommended and will be coming back when I am back to the North of Portugal
We travelled by road from Leuven, Belgium, to Portugal and this time we wanted to focus on the Minho region. We booked Hotel Minho in advance after a webscreening of several other hotels. We were happy with our choice. The room was impeccable, bathroom very clean, we had a nice outdoor seating area connecting to our room, the hotel services were good, healthy breakfast, very friendly staff, nice outdoor swimming pool area and bar offering fresh fruit juices and of course the famous local Vinho Verde. We did not use the wellness centre but they looked aal right when passing through. In the room there is a nice brochure on things to do and to visit in the area, offering walking trails and bicycle tracks. We loved it all and we will certainly return.
I traveled to the this hotel mainly because of the peaceful location and the hotel spa. Me and my girlfriend, we wanted to have some recharge energies by going to this hotel, and it was perfect! We arrived in the early afternoon and we were able to go to the spa until 8pm. This was just a 1night stay but it really was worth it because staff in the hotel allowed us to enjoy the spa since we checked-in at 4pm, and allowed us to stay long after the check-out (2pm). The room was great, with a big bed, and very comfortable, with a balcony with direct access to the outside garden and pool. The breakfast was really good and it included a variety of products which even included local region products. The staff was very friendly and were always available and ready to help with a smile on their faces. We enjoyed our stay, and we'll definitely get back again...
We had an excellent four days at this hotel. Thoroughly recommend cycling by the river, walking in the hills or enjoying a massage in the Spa. The staff at the hotel and indeed the locals are friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is spotless and while the rooms may not be large they provide a perfect base for a great holiday. The breakfast provided is a cold buffet and may not be to everyone's taste. It is freshly put out early in the morning and you help yourself at the appropriate time. We flew to Porto and took a hire car - the hotel is just over an hour's drive. The area is quiet and entertainment is restricted; we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience!
