Great hotel! I had an amazing stay, the bed is very comphortable, good choice for a breakfast. I will definately return there for a short stay. The only downside is location - suburbs, you need a car or a taxi to get there.

This hotel is very accessible to anyone with mobility issues. It had doors that open as you get close and the accessible rooms were very large. The elevator is small (as European ones are) and it can get busy, so wait time can be long. We asked and were able to use the employee elevator to help us get to our rooms (there were 5 of us in our group and the national disabled tennis players all staying there). The key card opened the door by itself, nice! Anything we asked or was given quickly with a happy smile. The pool I did not use as there was just too much to do but it did not have a lift to get you in and out.

Great location for exploring the northern part of Sardinia Olbia is has something for everyone. A little bit expensive but good food and wine can be found at local price outside the tourist areas Great for secluded beaches and amazing scenery. All good. Would go back nice friendly people

The hotel is deservedly 4 star rated with large spacious clean rooms. All the staff were "on side" and were unwavering in their attempts to assist ; whether it for places to go and see or the accessibility of public transport. Though the hotel is not in the centre of town - amidst a barren development site - that is more than compensated by the facilities within it. Notwithstanding, the walk into town is a pleasant one and not too far . I have only two observations which may help the management. 1) The breakfast buffet ("hot" ) and cold choice is excellent . However you might find that if the "hot" offering were actually hot , there would be less demand from guests for personally prepared hot food. You may not be aware - and I say this to help - the hotplates were only set at 50C which ,after being served , means that the food is barely warm. 2) The restaurant appeared excellent too. Though we were tempted to eat - since the prices were competitive - we were deterred by the small print on the menu which appeared to suggest a service charge of 10Euros each ? We are not big eaters so this flat service charge appears disproportionate .We respect you have overheads and excellent staff , but this type of addition dissuades many - other than corporate users - to use the restaurant and stay. We know you have a business to run , but you might be losing business because of this. Forgive me if I have misinterpreted this , but if I have , so have others ,with a consequential loss of business. That said , these are all comments that are meant to help. We enjoyed our stay and want you to personally thank your staff.They are smartly turned out and very helpful.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel in October 2017. Our room was not very clean, we continually had to wait for bowls, cups, plates and food at breakfast. One morning when I asked for a bowl, the waiter was very rude to me. There was no milk in the coffee machine for the last 2 days of our trip and to top it all....... On the morning of our departure we put up the DO NOT DISTURB sign outside our room which was 400, on the 4th floor while we went down for breakfast. I had forgotten my glasses so had to go back up to the room which I found was open. The door had been wedged WIDE OPEN and when I found the cleaner on the other side of the lifts, I showed her the open door to which she shrugged her shoulders at me and muttered something in Italian. I immediately reported this incident to Reception who said they would investigate but upon my returning to Reception, I was accused of having left the door open myself. Absolutely not!!! The doors automatically close behind you and Reception would have known this, obviously, but tried to put the blame on myself. Upon arriving home we noticed that a small container which looks like a ring container was missing. It was on display in our room as I use it for cream for a rash on my ring finger. I am absolutely meticulous when it comes to packing and unpacking and this item was definitely not missed. I have emailed the hotel in Olbia and also sent a copy to the European Regional Headquarters for their attention. Our room incidentally was not that clean, with dust on the surfaces and bits on the carpet. No doubt the cleaner did not have time to clean the room properly as she was too busy seeing what she could steal!!! We will NEVER stay in a Doubletree by Hilton Hotel again.

Excellent hotel, very modern. Welcoming front desk with a warm chocolate chip cookie on arrival. A fifteen minute walk to the town centre Excellent restaurant just down the road from hotel. Trattoria de Sara, lady seems to just cook what she gathers that day. Excellent value for authentic tastes

We flew in very late and chose this hotel to stay our first night in as it was near the airport and because there is plenty of parking space. Thankfully we managed to get a reasonable meal before the restaurant closed at 22.00. The room was comfortable and in keeping with Hilton expectations. Breakfast was good. As we were driving off to Alghero the next morning we did not use any of the other facilities.

We had a week at Doubletree Olbia and it was bliss. Poolside, was the most serene ambience I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing in a european hotel! It is mainly couples, business guests and young families here. In a quiet area, and there seems to be no kids club etc. It is a ten minute walk from Olbia centre so depending on what you want to get from a holiday, you would not need a car. If you want to get out and experience the rugged beauty of Sardinia, and the beaches, I recommend a car. This can be done through the hotel, we pre-booked via Budget before we arrived. The staff at this hotel are superb. Chiara and the other lady, sorry I did not get her name, on Reception were extremely professional and informative any time we needed them. The restaurant staff, particularly Bardhyl and Piero provided the best service we have had in a Doubletree. They could not do enough for you and their preparation of the fish dishes at the table, de-boning and serving was first class. Steak too was tender and delicious. Top marks to the chef! Like any hotel, if you visit breakfast during the busy periods 9-10am you may experience a wait to replenish the food, but again, the staff worked hard to keep customers happy. The air conditioning in the room too was great! We will return!

Very good hotel, professional, warm and friendly staff from check-in, until check-out. The location is not very far to Olbia center but is recomended to rent a car as the beaches are not within walking distance. They have a rent-a-car office in the hotel. I stayed in room 308, and I got the upgrade as a Hilton Gold member. Very comfy hotel for your stay in Olbia

Got a great deal on the Presidential suite. After spending 2 nights in Venice in a dump of a hotel, the Hilton was like being in heaven. The rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bath/shower was itself larger than most hotel rooms. Nice view from the balcony. The walk from the hotel to the town center is 15-20 minutes.
