we had only 2 nights in this four star hotel in Porto Cervo and enjoyed our stay. Pasquale , the hotel manager was very friendly and accomodating with us starting from our check-in till our check-out. He gave us good information to visit the Costa Semralda and some beaches. Our room was large, celan and quite. . Hote to suggest and we will do it
The hotel is nice, Annalisa and her colleaques at the reception are helpful. My complaint is about the housekeeping. She cleaned the toilet and then the sink eith the same cloth. The mat on the floor was on my bed that she made. I told these to the reception. It may be a 4 star hotel but with this understanding of cleanliness it is 1 star to me.
We enjoyed this lovely, quiet friendly hotel. All the staff were very pleasant, helpful and attentive. Our room, a bungalow in the wonderful gardens, was big and airy. The food was excellent; the four course dinner each evening was great - well worth it. The courtesy bus to the beach and into Porto Cervo was very useful if you havent hired a car. The walk to Porto Cervo was much shorter than we thought and a very pretty route past the marina- and through lovely gardens. The church was well worth a visit, very pretty inside. An excellent week`s holiday in a lovely hotel.
Very nice hotel located close to marina (within short walking distance). Quiet place with nice surroundings. Staff taking care of guests and providing service at excellent level. Rooms fairly modest but tidy and providing good sleeping quality. Relatively wide choice (as for Italy) during breakfast. Recommended for those looking for relaxation and slowing down.
We stayed for a week at Colonna Park Hotel. The place is very quiet and good for relax. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Nice decoration. Good breakfast. They provide transport to Pevero beach. The pool is good and never crowded. The staff is nice but most of them speak very poor english...there are two affordable nice restaurants very close to the hotel.
we had good time in this 4 star hotel in Porto Cervo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. our room was large, clean and quite, with view on the pool. the breakfast was at a good level and the dinner simple but with fresh product, mediterranean food. We enjoyed our stay and would go back in this hotel
The beds are very hard and the hotel was very dated,a lot of the tiles around the pool were broken and the edges sticking up and my wife fell over and badly bruised her knee. The food was not very good compared to other hotels we have stayed in, breakfast was the same everyday very sloppy scramble eggs , the fruit was taken in large quantities in people's bags so if you came down late there would be none left.it was the most boring hotel I have stayed at and the mini bar was very expensive 4.5€ for a small tin of local beer, the hotel bar was also expensive. The cleaning and reception staff were excellent but would not come back not good value.
Myself and my husband stayed at this hotel for a week from the 16th July 2016. We had booked our flights seperately, and our accommodation with Low Cost Holidays who went bust the day before we travelled. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff informed us that our room had been cancelled and therefore, if we wished to stay at the hotel, we needed to pay for our room again. I was 6 months pregnant, and was understandably upset at hearing this news, as I thought our holiday was ruined. From this point on, the staff, who at this point had no information about what had happened to Low Cost Holidays, went out of their way to help us through a difficult situation that was neither their fault, nor ours. From the reception staff, to the restaurant staff at breakfast and dinner, everyone we encountered were friendly, and on hand to assist with whatever we needed. The hotel is traditional in feel, and I loved the layout and the decor, and the fact that it wasnt too big a hotel. The pool was lovely, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was a little hard and I struggled a bit with being pregnant, but my husband slept fine, so this would be the only criticism! The breakfasts were acceptable and provided enough to choose from for a weeks stay, and the evening 4 course meal was of a high standard. I would recommend this hotel for the staff, the cleanliness and feel, and its location, as there are some of the most stunning beaches I have ever been to nearby. The local restaurant Hivaoa, is worth a visit and we went back twice! fab food and a great atmosphere within walking distance, and then you can take a walk into the marina and see all the boats. Great holiday, despite the awful start, and it was made great by the staff at this hotel!
This is a lovely hotel with exceptional staff especially the reception team. The breakfast is good although after a week can become a bit limiting but a minor point. The hotel is modest in size but even peak season it did not appear busy. Pool area had enough sun loungers but was never full so you could always find somewhere to sun bathe. Rooms are very comfortable in an Italian / Sardinian style in keeping with the theme of the hotel. Comfortable bed and powerful shower was a bonus. You definitely need a car for this area as there is much to explore. I'd definitely return as was such a lovely holiday
We were slightly taken aback on first arrival at this hotel: it felt as if we had gone back in time 20 or 30 years and seemed a bit creepy. However on reflection, the hotel is well maintained and spotlessly clean but incredibly old fashioned - the poor waiters are made to wear cream blazers (or a rather jazzy turquoise in the evening!) and depressing old music blares out in reception - we particularly enjoyed a lounge rendition of Wonderwall. The decor is dated but rooms a decent size; breakfast is fine - cereal, pastries, lots of cake, questionable sausages and runny scrambled egg- pretty standard for 3/4* hotels in Sardinia having stayed at 2 other places on our trip. Very inflexible at the pool bar - they only serve "snacks" when the kitchen is closed after 2pm and these comprise really miserable looking, tasteless toasties and baguettes - don't waste your money. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. I wouldn't really recommend Porto Cervo in general - we made the most of it and the marina is worth a visit at night but it's a rather strange, soulless place and you definitely need a car as it's not even particularly safe to walk along the roads in parts. Stay somewhere else and visit the beautiful beaches - Grande Pevero was fantastic. Good restaurants in the area are Aruana and Hivaoa. Elit in the village served simple but exemplary pasta at non-Porto Cervo prices.
