We stayed for 6 nights half board in mid October. Although it was clear the surrounding hotels were wound down for the year the Belvedere was still very busy. The hotel was very good and the food was excellent. The staff in the restaurant were all super, very friendly and great with kids. None of the normal fighting for space at the pool and generally vert quiet in the evenings. There were a mix of people staying in the hotel, which got considerably busier as the week went on, and the only thing that let us down was other guests complete lack of regard for other people.

It's a typically set out resort hotel. The staff are friendly and engaging. Free internent in all parts. It has a gym, sauna and a sizeable hot tub/Jacuzzi. Rooms our cleaned daily and the towels replaced. The self service restaurant offers a huge choice of foods and even the the most picky of eaters will be satisfied. Top tip take a salt cellar with you as it is not on the tables and whilst they do have some it isn't always in the same place. The Tui rep was a gem.

We arrived to the hotel at 11pm, and were impressed with the spacious and welcoming lobby as we were greeted with a smile from the very helpful gentleman on reception. Check in was quick and easy, and in next to no time we were walking into our room. The room itself was spacious and very clean, with a good sized balcony. The little welcome pack in the bathroom was also a nice touch. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was lovely and hot. The outside pool was really nice, and with a lifeguard in attendance. There were plenty of sun loungers. The gym in the basement seemed to be popular, but we didn't try it out ourselves. The Spa pool (basically a big jacuzzi with a maximum capacity of 40 adults) was very warm, and a welcome surprise when we ventured down to look at the gym. The main reasons we chose this hotel were the location and the good reviews I had read, and we were not disappointed. 10 minute walk to Port Aventura theme park one way; 10 minute walk to the the beach the other way. Ideal. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful, and they even offered to organise an early breakfast for us on the last morning because our transfer was due to pick us up just as the restaurant opened. An altogether wonderful experience, we have already recommended the hotel to our friends and family, and would definitely stay here again next time we come to Salou.

stayed 7-14 Oct.2017.Room excellent 2 double beds,Plenty of room, cleaned daily and beds made up by excellent staff. Reception very good. Restaurant excellent with plenty of food and a good variation and a well tended grill always available.Special mentions go to 1) Abdoulaye on reception an exceptional person. 2) Maijo restaurant always smiling. 3) Benjamin chef at grill nothing too much trouble and cooked to your specific requirement. Hotel ideally placed for shops, restaurants, pubs and beach area.

Just back from a weeks stay at the belvedere. Rooms great size, myself and two kids sharing. Plenty of room. Nice balcony as well. Food ok, good variety and chef cooking fresh chicken/pork/turkey/fish each night and pancakes and omelettes in the morning. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Alexsandra at the desk and Maijo (I think) in the dining room especially. Entertainment poor but kids enjoyed the mini disco in the evenings and I'd say the entertainment had wound down as the hotel was getting ready to close. Only one gripe would be cleanliness. The pool area was dirty with cigarette butts and bingo slips from the day before. Toilets on bottom floor next to restaurant are stinking and the rooms aren't cleaned well during your stay. Clean towels when needed and toilet roll replaced but other than that I doubt the floors were brushed/mopped, maybe once during our weeks stay. Great location for port Aventura and walking into the shops/bars in centre of salou also.

Many thanks to all the staff at the Hotel Belvedere you looked after us very well. Hotel bedrooms are on par with Premiere Inn. Two double beds in the room are quite firm pillows were too. We slept very well on them. Maid service was good. Food quality was good plenty of selection..Entertainment was good with 3 professional acts whilst we was there. My husand I got bit to death around the pool probably down to the rainy season at the moment.

We booked this hotel back in july for a 6nt family holiday .on reading a few recent reviews we were a bit worried what we were turning up to . We arrived at the hotel gone midnight and the man quickly checked us in and gave us the keys and told us to come back down in 5-10 mins . When we come back down he opened the restuarant where they had set a table for 5 with chicken salad bread yoghurts fruit and water which was really nice. We were give a 6th floor pool view room which was good as we could see our 11 year old lad playing if we werent there. The hotel is in a good location and close to the centre . We were half board and found the food fine both at breakfast and in the evening. We only stayed to watch the entertainment one night as we liked the town so cant really comment on it. We would definately stay at the belvedere again and cant understand some of the reviews on here .all the staff we met were fine and friendly .our room was cleaned everyday with new towels .we hired bikes from reception after breakfast one morning and cycled to cambrills all we needed was one passport and seemed easier than the local hire shops who wanted deposits and passports. We found shooters bar which is a 5-10 min walk the best for watching the football

The hotel is in a very good location, only 10 minutes walk to the lovely beach and promenade. Hotel room was a good size with 2 double beds in. My only complaint which is a huge deal with me was the food. I have a servere nut allergy so myself and husband couldn't eat that much as it was poorly labeled. I did enquire about the ingredients in the food and got told if i could see nuts then it contained them. Not much help when i don't no what is in the food. My nut allergy can kill me so for us very poor. What we could eat was only luke warm which you had to heat up in a mircowave which is poor standards and theres not much choice. One night we looked at the food and one was labeled as mixed, not very helpfull.

This hotel is ideally situated for walks into town, 10 minutes down the road. The food was very good especially the meat. At least 3 different sorts every night. The entertainment was a bit poor and you had to leave the bar promptly at 12 to sit in the foyer to finish your drink. The pool was quite small but they played music round it which was ok by me. I would stay again as they also had English tv channels so didnt miss Corrie (yes sad I know) Rooms were fine and in my opinion the beds were great and so was the pillow as I like a firm mattress and a thin pillow. ...if you dont then it may not be for you. There was lots of wardrobe space and the shower was great. We enjoyed it there and would go again as we got a great price for a weeks stay with half board

We booked a week here at a fantastic price and it has been tremendous! We read some poor reviews before coming but have found none of that on our stay! The staff are really good, the hotel is absolutely fine and nothing is a problem, our room has been serviced every day and they left a free bottle of bubbly in our room for my wife's birthday, the food has been great with loads of variety on offer, the restaurant has been really busy but the staff have coped well, I would come back here in a heartbeat! Well done all at the belvedere
