Over an hour to check-in before a wedding; 2 receptionists calling for backup for 4 more customers waiting; no iron available, and some lost employee coming into the room for an inter-shower visit. It was a probably a bad day for them, but there were too many factors alligned.
Reception: Very friendly Rooms: Changed easily because first room smelt of tobacco -apparently not permitted n any room. Clean and adequately furnished; Television very old with no English speaking channels. Breakfast: Good coffee out of a machine, carton not fresh juice; no cold meats or cheese or eggs; toaster for toast and cereal / milk plus pastries. Location: Very dead in the evening in the area. Buses infrequent and stop at about 19:00. 15 minute walk to bus station to connect with airport. Closeby long distance bus stop for beach towns. Hotel would work as a motel
my husband and his son have just come back from a long weekend at this hotel, as he had been to watch the motogp, he said its a nice clean friendly hotel and the bed where ok. very cheap and the breakfast ok to, it was a good base for there stay.
Was just needing somewhere to stay for one night before flying out of Reus Airport. Very close to Airport - took less than ten minutes to drive there in the morning. The drive to Salou was around 15 minutes. Room was clean and very basic, bathroom was a little more modern. I would agree with a previous reviewer that the hotel could have some more work undertaken to make it liveable however for the price the hotel does represent excellent value for money so it's hard to really fault it. As long as you are realistic about your expectations for the price paid you will be happy. Pros: Close to Reus Airport Great Value for Money Clean Room Friendly Staff Good Bathroom Free Wifi Underground Car Park if you want it Cons: A little basic A tad out of the way so a car will help
We were pleasantly surprised, because it was very good for the cheap price we paid! Very good, modern & comfortable bedroom. The on suite bathroom was very good too. Staff was friendly, everything was clean, tv, free WIFI, big room. With locked car park. We recommend it.
Not the best of places, put it that way. I went to Reus for a week with a friend and, ok we arrived early, but the room hadn't been cleaned and we were given a 3 bed room instead of the twin room I paid for. In that first room, the noise from the street was very loud and there were plug sockets hanging from the wall - not safe, really. We were then given a room on the other side of the hotel and a twin room, like the one I paid for. However the bathroom door was hanging by a thread and it would not close properly - it needed a slam shut and a kick open. Eventually it fell off the hinges. It was swapped out on the night by the staff and we were given a free breakfast for the trouble, which was nice, admittedly. The staff were nice enough, even thought they themselves didn't believe the hotel was worth more than 2 stars at best instead of 3 stars. But I wouldn't recommend this place if you're thinking of staying in Reus for more than a few days.
Quite an acceptable hotel. Polite staff, clean rooms, good, efficient AC (broken in one room, but was offered a new room immediately). We stayed here only because the hotel had a secure and locked car park, and wasn't expecting much. However we were pleasantly surprised. For the price we paid it is quite a bargain.
My self and my wife were in reus for a wedding and stayed at the hotel for two nights and liked it.we ate at a local cafe, the beach was a bus ride from the hotel and the bus stop 2 minutes away.the bathroom was nice and clean and for the price we weren't asking for room service and five star luxury, there was free wifi and safe.we ended up in the Hilton in Barcelona for another 3 days and the rooms were not massively different.will visit again if in that part of town
We stayed at this hotel at the end of our holiday touring Catalonia. The reason we stayed was because it was fairly close to the Airport at Reus. We had an early start so this suited us. The hotel is plain and a little hard to see coming into Reus, our Sat-Nav told we were there but had to look hard to find the the building, when we turned around there was a big sign with the name on it. The staff were friendly and the room clean. We told the receptionist we wanted a taxi at 5 am so she said she would organise it which she did, it arrived exactly on time. The only problem was when we went to reception the night porter told us we could have got the only Bus to the airport 15 minutes earlier, at a cost of €6 approx. the taxi cost €25. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay fairly close to Airport. We did not eat at this Hotel so can't comment on the food. There is a brilliant Japanese restaurant across the road, the receptionist recomended it and it was very good value for an evening meal. The staff were lovely but no English and they didn't seem to understand my poor Spanish either.
Average hotel, good for a sleep over. Rather high price for the quality it offers. Situated on a main road (but our room was quiet as it did not face the street). Good, quite clean room (the only problem was that the shower glass did not insulate well so we flooded the bathroom completely whilst taking just a quick shower). Possibility to park your car for free next to the hotel.
