Stayed here during the summer, lovely hotel with modern and spacious rooms. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping staff were lovely we came across them a couple of times and always got a good morning and they made a fuss of the children which was lovely. Swimming pool was clean and plenty of things for children to, no rush for the sunbeds in the mornings either. Food was nice a good variety, you never got fed up and there was something for the fussiest of eaters too! Good evening entertainment for the children something different every night and gave the adults a bit of peace and quiet.

This hotel is amazing for everyone! Most people do complain about the two o'clock check in, but the hotel just go by the international check in times. Rooms are vacated 12 at which gives two hours for staff to clean. A policy that most hotels go by. The area of Costa dorada does have a local tourist tax of 1€ per person per day for 7 days..anyone under 14 does not have to pay and it's only payable for 7 nights of your stay. This is a government tax! If you stay in a hotel room it will be cleaned everyday. If you are in an apartment it is cleaned every 3 three days. If you require it more you can just simply ask and pay at reception and this can be done for about 15€ euros. Any requests are just that. Requests can not be always be granted so please bear this in mind. The hotel is in a hilly area so if you have walking difficulties Cap salou is not for you. The staff here are amazing from reception, maids, bar staff and restaurant. Big shout out to Katy and Adam the Thomas Cook reps. So helpful and always on hand ! Thank you med village hopefully see you soon ;-) .

We Booked a 1 bed apt, but upon arrival we upgraded to a two bed apt as we were not to impressed with the pull out sofa style bed ( this was not the hotels fault as our travel agent assured us there was actual beds in the living area. We were on the second floor next to the lifts looking out over the kids play area at the front of the hotel. 2 bed apt was spacious and the mattresses were thick and I had the best sleep I have ever had on holiday. rooms were clean and linen and towels were always replaced by the cleaners , the kids pool was always busy but sunbeds were always available even when going down in the afternoon and the kids liked the three slides. Life guards are on duty and were doing a good job keeping the kids safe. food was good and there was always something different to try ( kids loved the ice cream section ) My kids don't really go in for the entertainment kids club etc but from what we seen these guys were always on the go keeping the kids active with dancing games and sports. We really liked this hotel staff were friendly and helpful would have no hesitation to return

Our stay here was incredible. A great location with little cove beaches just down the road. The food at the hotel was great with a really wide selection. The best part of the trip was the children entertainers. The went above and beyond making the kids feel involved. In particular Josef, the chief of entertainment was amazing. I can't stress how really really good with the kids he and the others were. We were worried our son would be lonely on holiday with no siblings but Daisy the mascot joined all the children together and our son made some really great friends. Will definitely be back next year with more of the family.

I stayed here with my partner and 4 year old this summer. I don't have any complaints about the hotel as such other than the pool was closed on numerous occasions over the two weeks we were there (not really fault of hotel but it did happen a lot). The food in hotel was wide in variety and we enjoyed it. The staff were are friendly and helpful. The kids club was great as well. My son loved the disco at night. I don't think we'd go back but not due to the hotel, purely because of the location. There wasn't too much to do around the hotel other than a couple of shops and a few restaurants. Main Salou is about a 10 minute bus ride and cost about €9 for the three of us each way, a lot more to do there. The drinks were also quite expensive at the hotel when we'd stay there at night (our son wanting to stay for the disco). Unfortunately, they don't offer an all inclusive option.

We recently stayed at the hotel and found some parts were very good and some not so, first of all the rooms were clean but a little on the small size and it could do with some new beds but did have a nice balcony and the safe was free. The staff were not very helpful and tried to charge for certain things such as 2€ for a swimming hat to use the indoor pool even though I have a shaved head. The good thing with the hotel the restaurant was wonderful with foods to suit all, the entertainment was very good and the Animation team not only were quite good especially with kids as well as visiting Acts coming in a couple of time a week. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for people with mobility problems as the area is very hilly and also the transfer coach cannot stop at the front of the hotel so there’s a 500 metres walk to the reception.

Despite our ages we had never been abroad before. We had high hopes for this place as a friend goes their almost every year. Despite the beauty of the area, more Cap Salou than Salou, and the wonderful beach just a few hundred metres away, I was sadly disappointed. For example, we reported a bedside electrical socket (which intermittently sparked & crackled so much, usually at night, it lit up my bed) on 3 different occassions. 1st time electrician just shook it slightly and said (in broken English) "It's is ok" and kept this up all through my description of the problem. 2nd & 3rd time nothing was done, still sparking when I left. Our room was the only 1 not ready at check-in despite being kept waiting for 3hrs and told to come back at a set time. The bed settee reeked of urine and wasn't changed until 9 days after we 1st mentioned it to staff. The heavy blankets smelled of urine too and were never replaced, but we didn't use them anyway. One day the house staff took all our towels, put them in a pile in the bathtub, and just left them there. Most of the staff were amazing, 99% of them, especially the enthusiasm & patience of the entertainers (dyed blonde at front desk could do with a course in politeness and a smile-ectomy). I hope H10 realise what they've got really there re staff, namely a wonderful group of dedicated, hardworking people. Everything else about the hotel was excellent; beautiful & spacious rooms with beautiful & spacious balconies, brilliant pools, amazing rooftop jacuzzis, smashing heated indoor pool with steam room & sauna, great gym and cracking entertainment. We were thinking of going back next year but we just don't think we can. Returned home 2 days ago and feeling more negative about it as the hours pass. We had hoped H10 were better than this; H10 Mediterranean Village isn't always like this, is it?

Stayed here on 24th September and loved it.this hotel is huge.from reception to the pools.there are roof top jaccuzi which were great this hotel is more for families with young children don't get me wrong I travelled with my partner and had a great time...what I mean is it is really child friendly there are shows for the children all day and the children love it..the animation staff are amazing and the kids love them..there is so much to do here.from indoor pool and sauner to the outdoor pools and jaccuzi on roof (kids not aloud there) food was georgouse and the rooms and bathrooms very big.bus stop right outside. I went everywhere..would go back.a really lovely hotel

This was our first visit to Cap Salou having stayed in La Pineda the past two years. This was a short notice 4 night stay. Our Thomas Cook Airlines flight was brought forward from 6.30am to 4.15am so we were in resort by 10am. As we expected our room wouldn't be available until 2pm we left our luggage and made for the pool. Plenty beds and lots to do but the water was a tad cold. Our 1 bed apartment was well laid out with a double sized balcony which overlooked the wooded area to the rear. A pool view might have been noisy especially at night. The hotel is in a quiet area with little to do nearby and is a but hilly. The on site supermarket had very little stock. Use the one next door at Sun City. Food was of a good standard with a varied selection. Hot drinks and juice included with breakfast and drinks at dinner were payable from the waiting staff. The majority of the food was buffet style including a children's area however things like fried eggs, bacon and pancakes for breakfast and nightly specials such as meat and fish were made by a chef at the top of the restaurant. He was on his own and couldn't cope with the demand. The serving trays were often empty with people waiting for fresh food to be prepared. The food could be hotter too. Bar is pricey and there's no all inclusive option. Overall I'd recommend a visit but I don't think we'd return.

We had a great holiday! 2nd time at this hotel and absolutely loved it! Entertainment was great! And I took part in water aerobics, Pilates, body balance and aerobics. My husband and son also played pool and we used the sauna and steam room and went up to the roof.
