2 week family holiday with 3 of us in one room. The rooms were clean and kept that way. The beds were changed twice a week and towels daily (although we didn't always get 3 towels back). The pool was a good size and sunbeds were always available. The food at breakfast and the evening meal was good, plentiful and varied ( a bit limited if vegetarian), but don't bother with the chips as they were always cold. Drinks are not included with the evening meal but have to be paid for at the end of the meal. Hotel location is good, only a few minutes walk to the town or the beach.
Booked last minute week with Jet2 holidays. Pleasantly surprised, nice clean room over looking pool. Some reviews say beds hard but we found them very comfortable. Never had any bother with sunbeds, also pool manned by lifeguard . We found pool snacks good , reasonably priced and freshly made. Food is reasonable, salads and fruit excellent . Hot food is typical Spanish (being in spain). If you are looking for benidorm style holiday, this town is not for you. Mainly French and Spanish clientele so brush up on your languages. The town is lovely the narrow streets reminiscent of Venice or Bruges. Hotel is about 15 to 20 minure walk from town, having some walking difficulties we used the tourist train from right outside hotel. The big gripe is fridge in room which is locked. Jet2 website say fridge is included in holiday but reception refused to unlock it until we paid 21 euro. We ended up doing so under protest. Unfortunately jet2 rep wasn't too interested so await customer service response. On contacting the GHT (hotel owner )head office they have been very unhelpful . Apart from this was good break.
Stayed for a quick holiday for 1 week,,, Good points Clean rooms Clean bedding and towels Good location Good size pool with plenty of sun beds Dinning experience ,,,,could be hectic , but generally good food Bad points Fridge in the room is locked , cost 35 week to use ! Dining room can be busy and tables are far too close together ,, like playing musical chairs twisting round chairs and people with a plate of food in your hands Sun beds are also quashed together ,, n Too close for comfort ,,, but plenty beds Not a nice bar area ,, feels like it is a teenage / children's games room Beds in room are very hard Location is good ,,, walkingdistance to old town ,, with a train stopping outside the hotel ( very expensive for regular use) Lights on over balcony all evening ,, not going off till 12 pm ,, no option to turn them off yourself All in all a good hotel ,,, needs updating with a few things , more three and a half star then four
We stayed for 4 nights on the half board basis. Arriving in reception at midday to be told our room wasn't ready. We were able to leave our cases safe while we went for lunch. The bar area isn't an inviting area to sit drink and eat. It smells really strong of fried food. And in desperate need of an update. Paper lanterns and cheap streamers adorn the celiling. Quite tacky. Really poor public area. The bedroom was clean, had everything we needed. The beds for us were far too firm. Like the bar area is just in the need of updating. The lower ground floor is where the dining room is. Lots of choice of hot and cold food. Very busy and the staff work very hard. No complaints from us there. A little hint if you can bothered to get up early, it's worth it for a much quieter breakfast. Great to see while we were there .....late June, no sun beds were saved and could always find ones to use. The spa looks lovely though we didn't use it. All in all good value for money but just needs bringing up to date.
My husband booked a short break here for my birthday and we really enjoyed our stay. I really don't know what the complaints are about. Yes the restaurant was a bit hectic at times but that was down to other guests being rude towards us, not the staff! My gluten free diet was catered for. The hotel is in good condition and the spa is lovely. I paid for a massage as a treat and it was worth every cent. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and
Oasis hotel tossa del mar 4 star is a very nice hotel with a outdoor pool and a very clean rooms with a nice staff and with a very quality good food with the show cooking and the entertainment is very nice and the animation girl is very helpful to our kids
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The location is just a short walk from the town and beach which is very quaint. The hotel staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The food was buffet style and plentiful and the show cooking had something different every evening. The rooms were clean and adequate, although the beds are very hard. Overall we had an enjoyable stay in a very friendly, clean hotel and would definitely return.
A three day stay was to shortly would stay again in future, position was good with a short walk to sea front, beach and shops.A nice range of restaurants in town. The road train stopped at hotel which was helpful if you had a problem walking to far.The hotel was of a good standard with nice rooms, comfortable bed.We stayed half board and found the food was quite nice.
My wife and I have just returned from a week at this hotel which is situated in a quiet and conveniently positioned area of Tossa, which is a very attractive town with easy commute from Girona airport. The hotel is immaculately clean and the service is good. The rooms with a pool view are spacious and although the balconies are close together we never were bothered by noise from next door, which is mentioned in a few reviews. The biggest disappointment was the food. The dining area is in the basement and is all self service buffet. Breakfast has a choice of fresh fruit, cereals , cold meats and cheese and a hot section with eggs, bacon etc. Plenty of breads, jams and coffee and all in all, not too bad. Dinner, on the other hand varied from inedible to edible. Out of the seven nights we had two when the hot selection was good. That was chicken, pork and veal. The fish was under the heading of "fish" and could have been anything. A strange selection of hot veg was on display which seemed very remote from the main course choices. The cold buffet was good and you could have a wide variety of salads and plenty of it. The puds were varied with some of the cakes looking good but dry and hard, but others were delicious. Personal taste comes in to play. Lunchtime snacks at the pool were not very good and service depended on who was on duty.Prices, however were not too bad,but were mainly for egg and burger type dishes. Although we knew in advance about paying for the safe and the fridge,it is still a shock at check in when you are asked for 74 euros to cover tourist tax , safe, fridge and safe key deposit charge which is refundable. Add 20 euros , again refundable for pool towels and somehow your reasonably priced holiday starts to cost more than initially budgeted. If we were going back to Tossa we would look for better food.
My third stay here and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. I found all staff to be helpful, polite, cheerful and friendly . The hotel is clean bright and airy my room was comfortable and clean. Only being B and B board can only comment that breakfast choice is plentiful and varied catering for every taste ! I highly recommend this hotel.
