Just returned from 4 nights in this hotel, the pool is very small with 19 sun loungers round it, however the beautiful beach is 2 mins walk away so we spent every day there, you can do several water sports here as well, our room was adequate for 2 people clean, good shower, however I was in a 2ft 6 camp bed my friend was on a 3ft camp bed which were not very comfy!! Food is plentiful, lots of choice, lovely platters of salads always fish & meat available as well as pasta, nuggets , chips etc, plenty of fresh fruit & puddings, the all inclusive drinks are a pain, you pay €1(refundable )for a cup when you have finished you can either refill it or get a token for next time, frustrating as there is only 1 person serving in the bar so quite a long wait even to hand your cup back, we were 1 of about 3 lots of English staying there, the other clientele were not very friendly at all, the staff were ok not the friendliest & the man who sits separately to book tours etc is very rude! Although we enjoyed our 4 days, we would't return as there are far nicer places to go ...

I made a reservation for a room for two adults and two children through web agency . When we arrived we were given a room for two people with four beds. There was not enough space to move through the room plus no space for luggage. My room looked like a big trampoline and my kids were exited . I talked to the receptionist and she said that all off there room were like that and that they were sold out for the time we intended to stay there. She said that we were in Spain (?!!!) and that was normal. She was very unpleasant and with no desire to help. There was no manager on duty. So if you like bad food and like feeling being in Bangladesh and like to be mistreated and feeling like staying in the box, Savoy is a right place to be !!!

The room was very dirty- the bathroom was disgusting and the whole building was full of dirt. They really need a renovation and better cleaningwomens. The restaurant was terrible - like a school canteen- the plates and glasses was dirty as well. The food is variate but the taste... I was eating out in other restaurants many times. I wouldn't recommend it!!!!! Only the staff at the reception and the restaurant manager was really nice.

Please. Stay away from this hotel!!!! God knows who writes these reports This hotel is nothing but vermon. I'll try and add photos what you see outside is what you get inside Rooms are very small certainly not for 3 people we were squashed and there was nowhere to store my mobility scooter it had to be in the room with us couldn't use the balcony as it was full of pigeon faeces Pool not enough sun beds and never cleaned whilst we wer there should you go be prepared

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 4 nights for my birthday. All inclusive. It was minimum 30 degrees everyday bar it rained during the night one night. Firstly, Lloret De Mar itself is a lovely place with lots of restaurants, bars, cafes and clubs a stone's throw from the hotel, as well as Fenals beach which is not even a 5 minute walk away so the location was absolutely fantastic. The beach gets very busy at around midday, sunbeds are €6 each and parasols are also €6. At the the bottom of the beach is some sort of coves and if you're up for it they are great fun to climb on and explore and the water round there is warm and shallow and crystal clear. Also at the bottom of the beach is Punta Garbi - a bar restaurant I very highly recommend anyone goes to. Cocktails were €10 but worth every cent. Food was great and staff and atmosphere were amazing - we went 3 nights in a row! Lloret has a great nightlife scene and depending on how close to the beach you eat or drink it isn't too expensive. Bus station is a 10 minute taxi ride away where we got the coach to Barcelona for the day which was €10 per person per way (so it was €40 return for the pair of us.) I highly recommend doing this. The hotel - staff were very hit/miss. The two larger men who work there were lovely and very friendly and helpful and tried their best speaking English. The rest of the staff weren't so great - rude, ignorant and one woman seemed to only understand my language when it suited her. For example, when I complimented the cocktails available for the all inclusive guests she was very pleased and was happy to chat with me about them but when I saw a toddler pull down her bikini bottom and poo in the pool and her mother didn't do anything about it I informed this member of staff and walked her over to the pool and pointed at it and she kept shaking her head saying she didn't understand. This happened on the second day so it was safe to say I didn't go in the pool the whole time I was there. Maids came everyday as expected no issues there. The room was okay, quite dated but we literally only used it for sleeping and washing as we were out all day everyday. Beds quite firm and shower was good. Balcony small and a bit dirty with a view of the back of another hotel and our hotel's rubbish bins - which got emptied one morning at 1.15am so as you can imagine I was quite alarmed to be woken up by a loud, beeping bin lorry and the shouty bin men. No privacy on the balcony at all from neighbours. The TV didn't work so we told the man at reception and he said he already knew but it didn't matter because there were only Spanish channels. Which yes this makes sense since we don't speak Spanish but I don't see why they are having broken TVs in the rooms ?? Strange. The foyer and all of the downstairs of the hotel (reception, bar, lounges, food hall) are all very modern and pristine which is nice but does not match the dated yellow and blue decor of the bedrooms. We were all inclusive - which I have never had before I have always been self catered so it was quite interesting. Breakfast 8-10, lunch 1-3, dinner 7.30-9.30 and snacks are available between these meals. The food overall was just okay, certainly not to be relied on. I think we only tried each meal twice across the 5 days and they were nothing to rave about. Food is kept under heat lamps and the snacks are leftovers from breakfast which I thought was weird. Bar was okay typical variation of drinks, you pay a euro deposit for a crappy plastic cup that you have to carry round with you which is both unhygienic and ridiculous. I don't understand this system did they think we were going to steal their ugly cups that have been used by hundreds of people? Unlikely. On the bright side, your drink is always filled to the top, not halfway like I had read about. On the last day our bus to the airport was coming at 5pm, so we just spent the afternoon hanging around in the bar area charging our phones and using the bar. At about 4pm the bar staff changed from a man to the woman I mentioned earlier with the selective understanding of English. I took my empty cup to the bar to get another drink and she very rudely told me all inclusive finishes at 1pm for guests on their last day and she snatched the cups out of my hand and tossed 2 euros on to the counter in front of me. I told her that we had been getting served all afternoon no problem but she just gave me her usual line "I don't understand". Clearly the staff need to have a better communication among one another as not all of them are aware of rules. Speaking of staff again - it was very common to see all the staff from maids to handymen to receptionists smoking outside the front doors of the hotel which I thought made the hotel look tacky. So yes, overall an alright stay at the Savoy, luckily like I said we only used it to sleep and shower and sometimes eat in so that's just what I got from my experience.

I stay at this hotel frequently and each time I go there, I feel home. The staff is wonderful and would run to help you for any assistance. We arrive late and tired, Eva took care of us and offered us a late dinner at the restaurant. Room had view direct to the sea which is a plus. I don't understand some people with their negative comments. I can testify and confirm that all is false. People go to spend holidays and relax and some have time to look at small details that only boring people can focus on such trivialities. The personnel is so human that a no answer is never used. I have seen rude and messy customers and yet the staff remained calm, smily and professional. Thumbs up. Be nice to people and you get same return. Thanks to Dimitri, Eva, George clooney lookalike and all the rest of the team

I spent with my familly ten days in hotel Savoy. First day 28. June, my personal things (vallet, phone, etc.) were stolen in front of hotel in garden area and swiming pool. I registered this into Police of Lloret but without any result. As you know, everybody is sensitive expecting to spend annual holidays on proper way, but I do have remark which is crutial such is security in Hotel. They do not have any security outdoor. There's table with sign that hotel is covered by cameras but it is not true since either garden area do not have cameras or swiming pool is covered with camera those "do not work" (probably fake cameras) Apparently, that security is based on view of reception clark, that is not proper way. Basically, there are not security . On top of that is their staff non - professional relation regarding to the case. Furthermore, I would mention other issues such as: - room surface is not adequate for family with four members - all inclusive with silly deposit of 1 EUR for platic glasses and poor plastic glasses in bathroom. - very volitale quality of food

The hotel itself is nice and modern. Rooms are a good size, clean but dated. Food was okay, would always find something to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner. They also have a few snacks out between these times. I could imagine it becoming repetitive of you were here for a week... We were only here for 3 days so was fine. One thing that is awful with this hotel is the drinks situation. You cannot get a drink - weather it be water or a soft drink before 8am and then between 10 & 11am! For an all inclusive hotel you should be able to get a drink at any time... We were in 30oc heat!! Lucky there was a shop right across the road!! Plus you have to pay a euro deposit for a cup. This meant carrying it around with you all the time! Now the biggest problem with our visit was the very rude Germans!!! We got shouted at by a German man because we were talking on our sunbeds!!! It made us feel uncomfortable for all of our stay. We were the only English people staying at the hotel at the time, so to put up with no 'thank you's' or even to be acknowledged when you repeatedly gave their ball back or held the lift for them, become very annoying!!! We also got up early to make sure we had a sunbed (there are 300 people at the hotel & only 30 sunbeds!!!!) on the first day I was down there at 7.15, we spent the day on our beds and then went for a walk to the beach for an hour after lunch, when we got back all our belongings (towels etc) had been chucked on the floor and our sunbeds taken!! I was fuming!! The area is absolutely stunning, the beach is lovely with loads of nearby restaurants and shops. You must go into the town centre in the evening, It has loads of bars and clubs! It was my hen do so was the perfect place to have a drink and as dance! Zoo was amazing! You will also find McDonald's, Burger King and a subway along the strip... Perfect to soak up the alcohol! I would definitely go back just to visit the strip again! I would return to the hotel if it became more English, all the people there ruined the experience for us!! Just plain rude! But Lloret de mar is a lovely resort, just find a different hotel!

Clean linen and towels, rooms tidies daily, food in Spain is not like home so you get what is on the buffet, but ok. Would come again for a short break, but if you want a drink then go to el pub at the bottom of the road past the surf mar tennis courts a great little find.
