Smart new hotel with new management - looks luxurious. The reception area was very modern looking and immaculately clean. We had a junior suite which was quite a good size - comfortable bed and great bathroom with Moulton Brown toiletries. We didn't try the spa or breakfast so can't comment on these. We found the Sky bar a stylish place to sit and sunbathe - the bar staff were very attentive and friendly. The view was superb. Only suggestions would be for a few more sun loungers on the roof terrace and perhaps a few more UK channels on the TV - BBC World was a little wearisome day after day and the signal kept cutting out. Otherwise a great stay in great hotel
Amazing hotel, located in the main town centre, however secluded away enough from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. Beach, and popular restaurants literally located across the road from the hotel. The spa is amazing, very comfortable, great services on offer. Beautiful salt pool which is absolutely amazing, and so so relaxing. Sky lounge, which is the rooftop terrace, where the small pool and sun loungers are located is absolutely gorgeous. Lovely bar where you can get food and cocktails/beer etc, which adds to your own relaxation. The pictures of the rooftop do not do it justice. It's open at 11am, no rush for sun loungers, so you don't have to pile out of bed at 9am everyday, very relaxed atmosphere. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for our mini - moon, and we were brought a bottle of cava to our room in the evening before we went out for dinner. No problem is too small, we had a slight issue with our hotel room, not because there was anything wrong with the room, just some roadworks outside our window. Moves rooms immediately, no fuss, and the room itself was absolutely lovely. Coffee machine and pods in the room. Beautiful robes supplied which you pretty much live in because you will spend so much time in the spa. Beautiful Molton brown amenities given everyday. Beds very comfortable, we had a very large queen sized bed I would say, bed itself is an actual queen sized bed, none of this twin bed business. A/C in room is great, I usually get a sore throats out of the ac but not with this hotel. Rooms cleaned to a very high standard every day. I come to Sitges every year, sometimes twice, I've stayed in the Melia sitges and the dolce sitges, and in comparison to this hotel, don't even bother ... stay here !! It's great, you won't regret it! Definitely coming back again!
Super close to the beach and bars and restaurants, but also not in the thick of it. We made a mess of the room every day but came back to toiletries refreshed, the smell of lemon and like we'd never been there. The terrace bar and pool is a great spot to while away the afternoon. It's a shallow pool so great for a dip between baking and drinking. We also made use of the spa downstairs which wasn't included in our booking, but discount offered. Maybe just include it?
We stayed here for 6 nights in a standard room during June 2017 for holiday purposes. The hotel is hip and modern and equipped with all conveniences one would expect of a hotel of this standard. Rooms are good sized and clean. The spa is good - the massage treatment was awesome. The indoor pools are larger than one would expect and properly maintained. The hotel does not have its own beach area, but good beach clubs are nearby (e.g. Alberto's). The rooftop terrace and pool are awesome! During the day, one can stay here for relaxing and lunch and during the evening, there is a proper cocktail time at the rooftop! The hotel is located at the quiet edge of the city centre, but within perfect walking distance of the action (400 meters or so).
Just got back from this hotel and it was clean and friendly! The weather wasn't the best whilst we was there, so although in Sitges there is nt much else to do. W were still able to get on our swim suits and go to the spa (included in the price) So worth the money for what you get, people would spend 50 quid in the UK to use a spa of that calibre. Cant wait to come back again
Stayed for 4 nights, beginning of June 2017, travelled as a couple. Booked breakfast and the spa, was given a fairly small room on the second floor. Room on first appearance was modern, clean and had some really useful and nice touches, for example movement activated night lights and wardrobe lights. Lots of signs of wear and tear, which does not bode well for a new hotel? Bed was really comfortable and the air con was very good. Fixtures and fittings all look very modern and nice, but the quality was poor, for example some sockets were broken and loose, toilet flush loose and broken, lights not working, chips, scratches and marks all over the place. Even the lift had broken plastic and the sign in the lift was badly made. The bathroom had glass windows into the bedroom which was really well designed and thought out, letting natural light into what would otherwise have been a dark room, very good. Shower leaked water into the bathroom, but that wasn't a big issue. Big rain type shower head was very good, lots of room in there also, curious floor though. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. TV was poor, remote didn't work well, and signal strength of the digital channels was borderline making the channels break up and pixelate. Only BBC world in English which was poor considering there was 50 other channels, could not watch TV most of the time. Sky bar was really nice, with pool and lovely views, service was poor and you basically had to chase for everything, three staff all seeming to stand around talking and not really that interested in doing anything. Tried unsuccessfully on two nights to get in, doors locked and could not even enter, even though there were people in there drinking, very strange? We were told the closing time was not as advertised, one night we made it, and sat down for 10 minutes before someone came over and said its closed and we had to go!!! Very poor general information about the hotel and facilities and you basically had to figure everything out yourself, desperately need some clear written information in the room. Spa and pool was absolutely fantastic and we loved it, really peaceful during the day and it was the highlight of the hotel, two pools, one salt water, sauna and steam room very good, gym on another floor looked good, but didn't try that. Day three our room was infested with ants, which house cleaning had tried unsuccessfully to kill that day. Complained and was offered another room on the same floor, which was fair enough as it was easy to move our clothes. TV was even worse, clearly a hotel wide problem with the signal level, but otherwise the room was the same as the first one. Heavy rain overnight, and we woke up to a huge pool of water beside the window and under the bed, water leaking through the seal in the window! This soaked one of our cases which was annoying. Complained and was moved to a much nicer room on the 4th floor (TV worked, but still had signal problems). Room was really nice, and we did receive an apology and complementary bottle of Cava (which was no use, because it was our last night and left whilst we were out for the night?), but surely a four star hotel should not have so many problems, especially ants and rain coming through the windows? We were actually asked if we had left the window open, when there was no actual way to open the window without a special tool? Breakfast was really bad, 'hot' food was cold, and the plastic cover didn't work. No normal tea, only herbal? Toaster that was impossible to use without burning the bread or your hands, all looked like a bit of an afterthought, loads of really nice places to eat breakfast much nicer and a lot cheaper nearby! Views from the hotel not great, apart from the expensive rooms. Great location and despite the comedy capers, the hotel is nice, and in general the staff all polite and friendly, staff in the Sky bar lazy and disinterested. Think we could have and should have been offered more than a cheap bottle of Cava for the unacceptable problems we encountered during our stay. I do however think that style, over practically has been implemented in the hotel design, that will no doubt be a problem for this hotel as it ages.
We stayed four nights at the MIM in Sitges and thoroughly enjoyed the staff at the hotel, the room and the Skybar. Just slightly off the beaten path so noise was no issue. Just one block to the beach and a couple more to everything else you will want to see like the winding alleyways, cute shops and everything from fast to fine food.
Cannot praise this hotel enough, celebrated my wifes 40th birthday with a few days in May. Nice spa, brilliant massages. Wonderful view from the excellent rooftop bar/pool.Had a problem with the water pressure in the room, the front desk staff took good care of us and arranged a new room for us. Good staff all around with special mention to Anna at the front desk who constantly took good care of us and all our questions. Will return!
We booked this hotel literally en route there, and were so pleased with it! Rooms are lovely, with patios filled with flowers and plants (I only wish there was room to sit outside). The rooftop terrace is definitely a huge plus, with a lovely view of the town. It's right on the side of Sitges so you get all the benefits without the noise of the immediate downtown. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Very modern chique hotel which has just opened in last few years. Very nice lobby and the halls and corridors are very plush with dark wood and atmospheric lighting. The actual rooms although not massive are very nice with open plan to bathroom with cubicles for shower and wc. The Monsoon type shower was probably the best weve ever had in a hotel. You really didn’t want to leave! All the mod cons with interactive TV etc. There are no balconies which would have been an annoyance for us if wed been staying more than a couple of nights but with the platinum awards the hotel has for energy compliance and environment its not really surprising. The rooftop pool wasn’t open but it was April! There is a trendy bar on the for as well which is busy during the weekends. We did both find the bed a bit too hard and pillows were non descript but that’s a personal opinion. We did have a meal in the bar at night once but it wasn’t great. Medium rare burger came totally pink in middle and cold and the tacos I had, although OK wasn’t really very flavoursome. We did not have to pay for the meal though after complaining about it. All in all very nice hotel and staff very helpful.
