Excellent hotel good food pleasant staff good location. Close to the beach bars and restaurants. Local shops and transport. Good facilities at the hotel, rooms nice cleaned daily towels changed daily. Would recommend
The number one asset of this hotel is the staff - amazing and friendly whatever happens - never found so many staff so good - usually one or two are good but all of the staff were fantastic. Have stayed in 5 star all inclusive before but the food beat all comers - variety every day, always fresh and cooks willing to make sure nothing runs out. Rooms good - cleaned daily at a time to suit you. Facilities in hotel good and even though we are at the end of the season you would not know. Definitely recommend families or couples - but highlight is the staff - management take note don’t lose your staff.
Everything at this hotel is great apart from the noise! Stayed for two days and not a second went past without banging doors screaming young adults and moving of furniture. If you require sleep do not stay here. 😣😣😣
Luna Park & Luna Club are two parts of the same hotel but with slightly different grades of accommodation, Luna Club having the better one. So I don't know why the management tries to treat these hotels as different ! We stayed at the Club and for the rooms alone at the Club, I think 4 star is probably justified. Our holiday was during the second week of September and there was not too much of a crowd in the hotel. So we did not encounter any long queues at the restaurant or crowds by the pool. But I suspect, if you go there during peak season you might have to wait in long queues. The 10 euro deposit for the towels and the 1 euro/day for the sunbed (sun lounger is free) were not an issue for us, I think that is reasonable. The only thing we were not very happy about was the food. There was not much of a selection and the food was very bland. Being in Spain, we expected a bit more kick and flavour to the food. While on holiday, one thing I most enjoy for breakfast is the omelettes but here the omelette was pathetic! The food certainly was not 4 star ! Another criticism I have is that they don't serve even tap water for lunch and dinner if you are not all inclusive. How can you expect anyone to have a meal without a drink of water ? If you want to buy water, its 1.90 euros for a small bottle. I appreciate the fact that the Management responds to the reviews on TA and that put onus on them to improve things where necessary. I had seen some past reviews which stated that the guests were not allowed to have lunch on the last day after checkout even when they had started with dinner on the first day. We were in the same situation but had no problem getting the lunch. So this obviously shows that the management take the TA comments on board and act on them. All in all, this was a lovely holiday!
Nothing about the hotel was that impressive. Rooms are tidy and clean, although after the first couple of days the room cleaners had sort of given up making the beds properly and just literally changed the towels and put new toilet rolls in. We kept finding the odd one or two ants in our room, strange considering we were on the 6th floor. Outdoor pool is nice and well maintained. Indoor pool is again pleasant when there isn't large groups in there or couples practically fornicating in the pool/hot tub. Food started off the week very nice, fresh and unique then after a couple of days they seemed to just stop caring. There was veal on the menu for 6 consecutive nights, every morning at breakfast there were random items such as chicken drumsticks and rice. I assume it was because it is coming to the end of season. However all the chefs work very hard and the girls who work in the dining area are by far the hardest working staff in the hotel and are very pleasant. The reception staff are very friendly apart from one guy, didn’t catch his name but he was going grey, he was quite abrupt, not to be confused the other guy with black hair and a goatee was very friendly and all the ladies on reception were too. I am not saying I wouldn't stay here again because it was just very average considering we stayed in the four star. The wording on the website insinuates that your get many extras what you have to 3 star but you still have to pay for them in the 4 star (safe, robes as safe was chargeable and no robes were left in rooms as insinuated). A couple of side notes: Do not book through teletext holidays for this resort, we had a ton of issues as there are two hotels on the site one a 3 star and one a 4 star. Long story but go through a proper dealer. Second, there is some stray kittens near here on the way up to the beach, which I kept buying cat food for, if your a kitty lover please make sure you feed them
Our annual girly trip. First impressions really good. Very smart lounge, bar, pool and restaurant. We had two twin rooms. The rooms were basic and tired needed an up date. Both had Nice balconies over looking the pool. We were all inclusive and I must say the food was exceptional plenty of choice . The restaurant staff were lovely. Alcohol was good the bar manager was not. Abrupt and rude! Especially if you tried to order drinks the wrong side of his bar. Lots of Sun beds around the pool and in the gardens. Evening entertainment in the hotel wasn't up to much but there are plenty of other bars and clubs on the front to choose from. Location was also good. A short walk to the beach, shops and trains. Within easy reach to other destinations. Train to Barcelona only 9.80 Euro return and took about an hour. Lots of local markets nearby. We left 7.20 in the morning and it would have been nice to have had a cup of tea before we left but the restaurant didn't open untill 7.30. I would stay here again.
Reviewn on hotel la Luna club. Breakfast wasnt as I expected it to be. Very limited to choice however a few croissants and some orange juice was fine. However did eat out for breakfast most of the time and an English bar named robin hood. They serve very nice breakfast. Aidy enjoyed her full English and all was cooked properly. Apart from the bacon. I however did enjoy the beans on toast. Evening meal at the hotel was a let down. First night ate almost everything on the plate but given that, we was both very sick and sick for nearly two days. Haven't had a meal in the hotel since the Monday night when we came. We are out at a lovely pub and restaurant named the drunken duck. The owner, Phil was very funny and very kind to me and especially aidy. We enjoyed fish and chips, a few burgers and jacket potatoes. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy, the outdoor pool was a little cold for our liking but lovely in the hot weather. The indoor pool was very clean and very relaxing and the gym was good however, not much equipment. Had a go and archery and good see you had a good range of activities which was good. The rooms where clean and tidy and very spacious and relaxing. Shower nice also. Key cards where a pain because they kept stopping working. Bar was very nice too. Finally, your hotel is situated perfect where all entertainment and shops are. So all in all I would give your hotel 8/10 due to food. Yours truly Mr M and Mrs K.
We came here after being stranded in the area when the other hotel we had book turned out to be really terrible. It saved our holiday! Great customer service on front reception, food was the best we have ever had in all inclusive - bottles of wine included for lunch and dinner, fresh fish being cooked, mussels and lots of really restaurant standard food on offer. Snack bar which included pate; chicken; breads and cheeses through the day. Yoga and various relaxing courses to do during the day and a lovely pool area. All In all very nice. If anything maybe the hotel room could have been updated but saying that the bed was super comfy and the room was very clean.
We have just returned from a 7 day break staying at Hotel Luna. We stayed in a family room on the 5th floor. The hotel was very clean and so to was the pools and the Jacuzzi. The hotel is in a good location, 5 minutes walk to the shops and the beach. We stayed on a half board basis and found the food ok but repetitive at times. I enjoyed the yoga sessions and found the teacher welcoming. Cleaners and kitchen staff worked hard but were always friendly. All in all a good short break.
We have had many concerns about our stay in the 4 star all inclusive Luna Club Hotel this summer. They are as follows: 1. The pool, bar and food was in the 3 star Luna Park Hotel which is located in the same area, if we were told about this we would not have booked the 4 star hotel paying 4 star prices. 2. We had to pay 10 euros per person per day deposit for towels. 3. We had to pay 1 euro per person for use of the sunbeds per day. 4. For use of the iron it was 2 euro per hour and a 20 euro deposit. Which we had to collect and return from reception to the room. 5. Our room was advertised as having the following but had non of the following: Bath robes Tea and coffee facilities Bottled water provided daily Safe non chargeable 6. Shampoo etc not replaced once used. 7. Hotel reception staff were unhelpful and rude on many occasions. 8. Safe in room was advertised as complimentary but we were charged daily. 9. Wifi was so weak it was unusable. We would not recommend as there are far better all inclusive friendly 4 star hotels in Spain.
