Hotel La Niña4.0 out of 5.0

Hotel La Niña is very well situated on the sea front and only 200 yards from the centre of Sitges. This is a four star hotel Spanish rating and with a few minor points could be a 4 star hotel UK style. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are of a good standard but could do with more drawer space. The bathroom is large with an over the bath shower but the water control needs to be looked at as it can go from hot to cold with out any warning. The rooftop sunbathing area is very good with a large plunge pool on the roof terrace. There is no bar facilities at this hotel. The breakfast is served next door which is very good with hot and cold options. The staff are very polite and nothing is a burden to them. We will use this hotel again.
Reception staff dealt with both the check-in and check-out process very quickly. Few others seemed to be staying in June, so there was no queue. Despite the absence of other guests, the noise of furniture being endlessly moved around on the floor above me was particularly irritating early one morning . Seafront balcony rooms have a marvellous view which detracts from the dull interior, with the blue and ochre colour scheme which is pervasive throughout much of the accommodation in this part of Spain.
Stayed two nights. The room was dated but clean. Two twin beds pushed together that kept sliding apart if you fell in between! Rooftop pool was very small but the view was nice. Good breakfast included in the mornings. Easy walking to old town and bus/train station. Great restaurants nearby.
We stayed in a room for two nights in late May 2017. The room was in the back of the hotel so it had no outlook but it was spotlessly clean comfortable and quiet and came with a small refrigerator. When we asked a very tiny electric kettle was made available to us for make tea or coffee which we bought at the local supermarket. The staff were helpful and pleasant to deal with. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and there were chairs and tables available on a nice sunny outdoor verandah facing the sea, or one could eat indoors. The very large king size bed was comfortable but a little too big for the small room, in my opinion it would have been better to have a queen size bed in that room. If I stayed again I would ask for 2 normal sized pillows for each person, as one normal size pillow plus a cushion were supplied and the cushion was a bit precarious for a person who likes their head to be in a higher position when they sleep. The location of the hotel was excellent and close to everything in the town. The beach was across the road. We both enjoyed our stay very much and we would stay here again.
I liked the hotel and the location was excellent. The housekeeping was brilliant too. The staff were helpful and also the breakfast was good. What let it down slightly was the room was a bit dated and tired. Could have done with a bit of modernising.
We stayed here whilst away for a wedding and thought it was a lovely hotel. We had a balcony room on the 3rd floor which had a fantastic view of the sea and surrounding pedestrian area to look out on. Considering how many people walk past of an evening, it was never very lou or would affect you trying to get to sleep. The room was generally to a high standard - nice cleaned tiled bathroom, comfy bed, smart decor. It was only let down slightly by some unfinished things, such as cables partly buried in the walls, wallpaper not lining up. This did not detract from the room at all, it's just some things draw your eye. There was wifi available and a small number of channels on the tv, but you don't come to a beautiful area like Sitges to watch tv. There was no tea or coffee amenities in the room, but we did have a small fridge filled with water, pop and some beers. The air con worked well as it was a hot weekend. The staff were good and the restaurant was located to the side of the hotel. We only ate here for breakfast but it was lovely. A good selection of food such as cold meats and cheese, eggs, bacon, tomato, sausages, yogurts, toast, fresh fruit, cereals, hot and cold drinks. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area, from right next door down to the main town ( a 10 minute walk at most)
The hotel itself is nice and in a great location. The room, with a big direct sea view balcony, was good if a touch small and could use more storage. The breakfast was good and nice that you can eat outside. Staff and service were friendly and good. However, the bar was closed, the restaurant was closed and the pool bar on the roof was closed. There wasn't room service. Apparently this is because it was out of season. Although it still wasn't cheap. I'd have probably given this 4 or 5 stars had any of the facilities been open. I'd stay again, but in season.
A truly lovely hotel in a perfect seafront location in this lively resort. Not at all noisy at night with a lovely breakfast bar at street level facing the sea. Indeed probably the best breakfast I have ever had in Spain. The room was spotlessly clean and the staff helpful. And being able to park our motorcycles in a massive, secure underground garage was a real bonus. I would return there at the drop of a hat.
The hotel is perfectly located on the sea front, quite central in Sitges. The rooms are decent sizes for the price and good bathrooms. Decor could do with a refresh but its still in a good condition. The breakfast is good and plenty of it to choose from. The sun lounge is nice with a small pool. Probably gets filled quickly in peak season but the beach is a 30 second walk away. Staff friendly and helpful and parking is available!
Had a two night stay in April. Only booked the basic room as didn't intend being in it other than to sleep. Little disappointed to have just a view of an opposing wall... but having taken a look inside a rear balcony room decided to stay in original booked room. ( rear balcony rooms smaller and looked out on somebodys washing ) Room was absolutely spotless and smelled good albeit a little basic and old fashioned. Have to say however the furniture was tidy.. not knocked about. If you pay for a sea view balcony room you're in for a treat... worth the money. Roof top pool ( more of a dip than a swim) offers fantastic view and a few loungers are nice. La Nina has no amenities apart from underground parking. (€20 fee per day) good safe clean place to park up.. accessed directly from inside the hotel. Inclusive breakfast was great... making La Nina excellent value for money. Served next door to hotel in a lovely newly decorated bar ( not a problem to go next door .. property is joined by a lovely covered awning) really nice to sit outside and eat breakfast in the sun watching the morning joggers, dog walkers on the promenade across the street. Breakfast bonus of Cava on offer... we asked for a new bottle to be opened as they hadn't yet been opened and was offer the entire bottle at our table to finish. Nice. Would definitely stay here again and very happy to recommend for the money.
