Super 8 Albany

If you book online be prepared for a lecture on how stupid that was. Also, if you booked a smoking room by accident don't expect one of the available 2 bed non smoking rooms. I was handed a can of air freshener. I must say I was amazed at seeing ashtrays on the nightstand and burn holes in the blankets. Makes me feel a little less safe knowing what goes on in the smoking rooms. Also, the TV never worked.

Needed a room for my daughter and I for a large volleyball tournament at OSU in Corvallis, and availability nearby was an issue. Selected the Super 8 thinking we wouldn't mind a value motel since we just really needed a clean place to sleep and hey, we were only booking a few months out versus a year like some folks, so didn't feel like I could be super choosy. The motel is literally right next to the freeway and the sound of semis roaring by all night was terrible. Footsteps above us caused the ceiling to shake and creak. The room smelled awful, a mixture of body odor and heavy powdered carpet freshener (traces of which were visible in corners). Holes in the wall, cracks, general disrepair. Black mildew stains on the shower curtain. Small, grainy TV. And no light filtering curtains, just blackout or open (and since we're were on the ground floor with lots of foot traffic we could never have them open). Room is DARK, dreary. And here's the real atrocity: they jacked up their rates ridiculously for this specific weekend knowing there was a large event in the area, so I paid $169/night for this disastrous experience. Price online was $61/night literally the day we checked out! The only nice thing I can say is that the front desk staff at check in and check out were courteous. That's literally it. Yuck, yuck, yuck do NOT recommend.

Great location right off the freeway. Close to food, shopping and my family.

Worn out old building. Smells of who knows what. Noisy. Just not worth the cost.

We asked for ground floor accessible room; got bath hand bars and outward opening bath door w/ built-in bath seat--too crowded for most wheelchair-bound persons. Room on freeway side of motel made it impossible to sleep due to highway noise. No parking in front of room (parking in lot in front or back).

My family kept finding some sort of beetle bugs durning our stay. MULTIPLE times. Also the pool was out of towels when we went and didn't have enough from front desk for my family. Also the hair dryer in my room didn't work. Our feet turned black walking around our room. We also had a GIANT wolf spider visit our room as well. It was a nice shower head and comfy beds. Thats about it. Other than that it was not worth what we paid....

Began with checking in, had to wait and no "thank you for waiting," etc. Staff was not friendly and when I got to my room, it was not cleaned yet. We had to wait about an hour while they cleaned our room with no apologies. There was only shampoo and no lotion or conditioner. Went to the pool and there were no pool towels.

We stayed overnight and then checked out it the morning, convenient to shopping and food..... Good value and excellent customer service

Location was tough, loud traffic all night. If you stay make sure it is not a room on the east side of the motel.

This place was just what we needed after a long trip from Northern California. Wish we would have arrived a bit sooner to take advantage of the pool located in the center of the complex.

Hotel was great. Loved the piece of artwork above the bed!

Stayed at this location due to proximity to local fairgrounds. Arrived late, and left early. Room did not have hot water... Breakfast was about what you might expect. Wall and curtain's had some unknown stain (It did look dried and old. Made jokes about what kind of criminal event had occured).

Breakfast was great!!! They checked us in early and were very nice. Room was very comfortable!

The bed and bathroom were clean, but when it got too cold and I turned the heat on, the dust and heat coils set off the smoke detector in the room...at 2am! Not to mention it made the room smell terrible for the rest of the night. Great location, though, right off the freeway.

good value convenient location for OSU football it is a clean motel the staff is nice the breakfast in also convenient and quick the pools towels needs to be stocked more frequently

Door was a little sticky, bed a little hard, and the freeway is immediately adjacent, and loud. TV channed selection was minimal, and everything a little tired, but still not awful.

I had trouble with the key ...the front desk person was very polite and heled me get the door open

Staff was helpful with questions upon checkin. We forgot a small ice chest when we left. When we called to ask about it the desk person was knowledgeable and said the maid had already brought it to the front office and we could swing by and get it.

hotel clean and neat, highway noise pool clean good breakfast

I was very impressed with everything the room looked, smelled clean micro wave , fridge tv etc the breakfast was outstanding
